The entire team is incredibly knowledgeable about the products they sell and passionate about their work. They maintain the classic family ski shop vibe found in New England ski towns, but with a uniquely Brooklyn personality. I had the pleasure of working with Duke. I brought in a pair of boots for retrofitting that were a full size too small. We had a straightforward conversation about the necessary augmentations for the boots and discussed the cost-to-success ratio. After two days of work, despite the odds not being in my favor, Duke managed to make enough room in my boot for a perfect fit (albeit a little snug, but that's to be expected). During those two days, it became clear to me that for the team at Panda Sports, this kind of work is a craft. This is a refreshing change from typical employees who are just working a job to sell you a product they aren't confident in. For as long as I stay in the city, wherever in the city that may be, when I need ski equipment, I will make that trek again.
