It is a short walk from where our tour group meeting/dropoff point was. Fantastic lunch menu that included 3 courses. It rivals some of the Michelin star restaurants for lunch. You start with a welcome wine pour. My friend and I each got a different starter/appetizer. Both delicious using seasonal ingredients. The beef cheek raviolo caught our attention and we went with different desserts. Service is fantastic and is a popular spot among locals. Go early at 12noon when they open for walk in. After 30 minutes the place fills up. We would eat here again for the great food and service. read more

Out of the 3 restaurants we went to in Paris, this was the best! Atmosphere was relaxing. It's a 5 min walk to the Eiffel Tower, and the food is superb. I'm not even sure the names of some of the things we ate but we had all of the main starters and most of the entrees and deserts and they were all winners. Can't go wrong here. read more

With the best terrines and paté in Paris, we took an arduous metro from the 11th Arrondissement to the 7th to purchase culinary artistry from Arnaud Nicolas. After purchasing too much and taking the requisite photos, we went back to our apartment to pig out. A visit to Arnaud Nicolas is worth the schlep. read more

Walked by this place on a morning stroll while staying in the Eiffel Tower area. Was taken in by the amazing looking pates and sausages in the window and then realized "Hey - it's a restaurant too!" Made a mental note to maybe come back for lunch or dinner some time during our stay. As it turned out, my wife and I were thinking about dinner later that day and I told her I'd seen this little charcuterie/restaurant down the street and maybe we should try it. So we looked it up and saw the reviews and menu and decided "Hmm, well, probably not getting in there with no reservation but let's give it a try." We walked in, the waiter asked if we had a reservation, we said "non," and he said "Ok, this way." Within about 2 minutes we had menus, bread and a small glass of complementary wine. We decided to get the tasting menu with wine pairings. First item came out, a charcuterie board of pates, and my first thought was "Odd way to do it, but this is clearly the whole tasting menu right here." I mean, it's a pate specialist and here's four very generous chunks of pates - a duck fois gras, a pork with peppers pate, pork rillettes, and a slice of pork with pistachio "pie." Honestly, that could have been a whole meal and when my wife kindly informed me "Uh, no, this is just the first course" I thought she was kidding. She was right of course. The pates were fantastic (the pork/peppers one being our favorite). Second course was seafood - not really what I expected here at all, but the cod with a celery "risotto" was excellent as well. The final course, Guinea fowl with an herb butter/artichoke sauce, is flat out one of the best dishes I've ever had in a restaurant anywhere, ever. For dessert they just let us pick one off the menu and since I haven't had a soufflé in about 30 years, we split a chocolate soufflé and let's just say we were not at all disappointed! The wine pairings I don't recall specifically but they each worked quite well with the dishes. The wine list seemed pretty extensive. Service was friendly, prompt, and efficient. I also really liked the space/decor. Not cramped, clean modern-ish design. This place was an absolute home run and delivered way more than I expected. Best meal we had in Paris. Clearly way more than the just the charcuterie place I was expecting. A bit more than we had planned on spending that night when we left our hotel, but absolutely worth every penny. On our final night in Paris we came in here. We were told it was one of the newest places to have dinner. We expected it to be packed, but fortunately it wasn't. Def make a reservation though. This little gem is gonna catch fire quick w/ the buzz it's gonna get. When we talked in we saw that this place, unlike a lot of Paris establishments had room. Plenty of it. In fact two areas for dining. After our coats were taken, I noticed there was no music on. Once we got seated we were given some complimentary wine to try. The staff was very hands on, constantly checking on us. Mind you we were one of three tables at the time. We ordered to start: Quail and Foie gras pie with Pear and Pistacchio The marinated Salmon, blinis and light cream of Ginger & Red squash For our main dishes: Braised Beef Cheek, cooked vegetables and potato foam Scallops just snacked, Cauliflower cooked in different styles and Truffle juice Dessert: The Black Chocolate Soufflé The quail & foie gras was absolutely amazing! I could have had a plate of just that for dinner. Overall the entire meal was great. From the presentation to the tastes and flavors of each dish. Wonderful dinner! Arnaud Nicolas was on same avenue we were staying in Paris. One of the best dinners we had on this our fourth visit to France. Linda had La Terrine " Tout Canard Duck Terrine and Foie Gras and followed with Beef Checks that she loved. I started with La Terrine de Homard et Cabillaud aux Herbes fraîches, condiment Tzatziki Lobster and Cod terrine with fresh herbs, Tzatziki and it was delicious. Main dish was a grilled poulpe with beans and local greens, again a well prepared and tasty dish. The staff were professional and understanding of our limited use of the French language. Had it not been our last night in Paris we would of come a second time. read more

This restaurant specializes in pates and terrines, all expertly crafted and executed. A lot of which was done croute style, which is essentially an exterior layer of fat (known as aspic) and then a casing of bread. All of the combinations were delicious and everything was salted well; the flavors certainly popped. We did a tasting menu, which majorly consisted of various forms of pates, which was quite welcomed. There was a light flaky fish, with a nice earthy broth. We also received a perfectly cooked duck w/ fruits. The service was quite pleasant, and there was a nice ambiance inside: lots of wood, nothing too fussy. read more
