As a store, or even as a butcher, it doesn't compete with anything here in Paris. Nor does it try. What this place excels at is finding some of the best beef in the world, raised and butchered in Argentina and Uruguay, and flown here fresh, never frozen... at very reasonable prices. Notice that I didn't say cheap, only reasonable. But when you compare this beef with for example beef from le Bourdonnec or Hugo Desnoyer, and you see that you're paying about half of what you would be at those two elite butchers', you realise that this place is actually a find. If you have a taste for high level meat, you should know about this place and come here . Not only that, the welcome is friendly and the empanadas are wonderful, really quite good . There is also a very good selection of Argentine wine to match with your wonderful picanha. I know of no other place in Paris where I can buy fresh and correctly butchered picanha for €35 per kilo. As a matter of fact, I think I'll go there right now! read more
