We started with the Garlic Mozzarella Bread, Toasted Ravioli, Calamari Fritti, Lomonte's Famous House Salad, and a Greco Roman pizza for the table. The garlic mozzarella bread was a hit across the table. The toasted ravioli was solid, while the calamari was delicious and cooked well, though we felt the portion size was a little small for the price. The house salad was fresh, flavorful, and one of the better restaurant salads I've had recently. For my entrée, I ordered the Beef La Crema. It comes with a 6oz fillet, mushroom risotto, and brussel sprouts. The mushroom risotto was excellent. Risotto is usually salty at restaurants, but this one was perfectly balanced and cooked nicely. The Brussels sprouts were also well executed and paired nicely with the dish. My filet came out a little more done than the medium-rare I requested, but it was still tender and flavorful. I do wish it had been slightly larger, but at 6 ounces, some shrinkage during cooking is to be expected. Overall, this was an outstanding meal with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. It's easily one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, and I'd gladly return.

I have never experienced such a complete lack of acknowledgment or disregard for customers upon entering a restaurant. Basic courtesy and customer service go a long way. Unfortunately, in this case, better customer service can be found at just about any fast-food restaurant.
