Please send me the retail policy and procedures required / expected of your sales associates, I have questions I'd like answered. My son and I were in your Arden Mall store today in Sacramento. We decided it would be a good day to do some retail therapy. We were greeted as soon as we came into the store but were awkwardly followed around the entire time we were there. Your sales associate informed me this is something she has to do to "ensure us a good shopping experience." It was anything but a good shopping experience, my anxiety increased the entire time I was in the store and at one point we had to leave and come back once I was able to acknowledge and accept where my pain was coming from and not allow it to come off as full on anger, only because my son actually wanted to purchase items. I would have liked to as well but could not find it in myself to look around an deal with that degrading treatment. There is a fine line between extra helpfulness and OVERT MONITORING. I don't know if there is any cultural sensitivity training for your employees but if your goal is to ensure a good shopping experience, THERE NEEDS TO BE. There are unnecessary layers of stress imposed on African American families in this country due to constant external hostilities, stigmatizations, and all out bigoted behaviors. Being pursued/followed/stalked around a store is one of them. read more

So my story might be a slightly unique one as I had forgotten my white button up shirt for an event this weekend and I needed it for the next morning as I had forgotten to bring mine. Not only that I was coming in basically near closing time. Not only that but I was dressed in leather armor and a large leather cloak (don't ask) and had already been turned away from other stores as the mall was basically shutting down for the night. However that is when I walked into Armani Exchange. I was greeted by four amazing people who just helped take care of my need quickly, professionally, and even picked out a shirt that looked better on me than I thought could be possible. I mean considering my request was "I just want a white shirt and I don't care as long as it fits." Fast effortless and they did me a huge solid considering everyone else probably thought I was just a crazy person. Quality clothing, great material, flattering fits. Pricey, but there are some very great pieces here. I'm definitely a fan of everything in this store. The girl greeted me warmly multiple times, asked if I needed help, and just seemed very genuine. I didn't try anything on during this trip, so I can't comment on the service regarding helping with fittings. I shopped here on Black Friday, which I always imagined to be an exhausting, if not stressful, day for retail professionals. The A|X staff, however, brought their A game. Everything was so well laid out and organized; browsing their collection was a breeze. For me though, the wow!-factor was the people I met. I had a chance to interact with Angelina and, on an earlier occasion, with Janida, as well as with a couple of other engaging ambassadors of the brand; I felt I'd like to hang out with these people. This place is always a fun place to shop! It's a bit pricy, but well worth it. They offer a decent selection of casual wear. The clothes are usually flattering to almost every figure. The sales associates are always friendly and very helpful and really know what they are doing. I will defiantly be back to shop some more! read more

Pricey, but you get what you pay for. The clothes are great quality and material. My favorite pair of slim black denim jeans are from here. I've had them for about 4 years now. Still fit like I bought them yesterday. The store is always well organized and easy to find items. Fitting rooms are clean, bright, and plentiful. Not to mention they have the best flooring in the mall. Check out the tiles in the store... they look like wood panels but they're awesome ceramic tiles. read more

I was in attendance of a beautiful wedding in June of sheer elegance and my clothes was all Armani Exchange. This is the only place in Arden Fair Mall that will guarantee a good look for good price. I don't remember the last time I have seen this bad of service! So I was over at Arden Mall doing some Christmas shopping. I step into Armani Exchange and nobody greeted me. I don't really care about the greeting part, but most nice shops do right? Anyways, I was probably inside the store looking around for about 30 minutes. During that entire half hour, I was never asked ONCE if I needed help. I was scrambling around trying to find certain sizes of some tops I needed, and the workers just looked at me and watched me dig through piles of shirts by myself! When I finally picked what I wanted to buy, I was waiting in front of the register for probably a whole minute. Two of the workers were just chatting it up. I looked straight AT them, and they just ignored me and continued talking about some broad that dumb guy had seen that day. I couldn't believe they're gonna just let a customer sit there WAITING for them. Then finally, another worker came over and rang me up. He also apologized for the wait. This 1 star goes to him . That service made me really want to hate Armani Exchange. How can you sell high fashion clothing with poor service? Armani Exchange disrespects the Armani name. All their crap is made in china and marked up ridiculously high. It's not quality, don't lie to yourself. Same T-shirt as you get at Express, American Eagle, Macy's you name it. Pricey because of the name, yes. Pricey because of quality, no way. read more

They don't always have the things I want, but it is a well-maintained store every time I stop by. Plenty of employees for recovery. Somewhat reminds me of an EXPRESS. Was disappointed on my last visit. The clerk overcharged my purchase and upon notifying her she rung up the price wrong there was no apology or acknowledgment of her mistake. She had the manager come in and fix it but still, with so many different places to spend my money I wouldn't come here again. Horrible customer service, inexperienced and incompetent staff. So I'm a typical guy when it comes to shopping. Hate it, have no idea how to match- it's just a mess. My sister's getting married this month (beach wedding) so I was dreading picking out clothes. Went everywhere in Arden Fair and these guys were the most helpful. Right when I walked in Carlos was amazing. I told him I knew little about fashion, so he basically picked out an entire array of matching outfits for me to try on one by one until I found one that was perfect. Super attentive and helpful service! Made the entire shopping process way simpler, and I'm gonna look smashing for the wedding! 4 stars because the prices are a bit high. Almost paid $50 for a matching hat until I found one that looked exactly the same at Aldo for $11! read more

Terrible customer service I have ever experienced here at this specific location. I confronted Renee (manager) with a problem I had with her making me feel uncomfortable Bc she kept following me around the store not once asking if I needed help; her attitude was disgusting as she says and I quote "if you have something to worry about that's your problem." Laughs and walks away.As I proceed to carry on my own personal conversation I was having on the phone she then feels the need to come back over to me and interrupt my conversation and repeat what she has said earlier "if you have something to worry about that is your problem not mine." Presuming I am a shoplifter and that is why she followed me around. As this whole situation is happening Renee and her employees were quite amused laughing every time I passed by, checked out and leaving the store. Needless to say this type of behavior from all employees will not be tolerated and I am very disappointed Armani employs such low end people like Renee for such a high end store. Please note all the guys in the store were helpful and nice except when they went along with her little show. I came in the next day to return the items I bought seeing as I do not want to support a company whom treats their customers this way and the other manager Orlando happened to be there with Renee and I asked to speak to him. I told him what had happened the day before and he was very apologetic and empathized with me which I was grateful for. But to my dismay when I was talking to him Renee came from the back stood in a corner and was laughing while I was talking to him. I never have seen such despicable behavior in all my life. My wife and I was shopping at this Armani Exchange, the clothing was great and comfortable but the only down side is they only have 2 extra large and doesn't have any 3 extra large size. It just doesn't have my size its a disappointment!. The customer service is really bad! One of the Mexican lady or staff on the floor was somehow afraid of us looking through the clothes or ruining it. And keep on asking us what size we need which I already told her if we need any help I will come to you. It gets annoying if you keep on asking a customer the same question. Not only that she stared at us the whole time which make us felt uncomfortable. I guess their biased against Asian or believe we can't afford it. And when my wife were trying out some clothes she disrespectfully bumped my wife shoulder and didn't apologize. Need better management and better staff. I shop here a lot and have always had good experiences. I walked in with my boyfriend on my birthday and thought I could pick a cute outfit for the weekend. Unfortunately, Dennis or Denny was very rude! I asked him for a size 26 in a pair of jeans and he just stared and laughed at me then proceeded to ask a girl where they were. I felt so uncomfortable that I just left and found something else somewhere else. No one should be treated that way, I don't plan on going back. read more
