    This is hilarious

This store is cute I have to stop by everytime I'm near by eating lol. It's very entertaining and fun to see everything they have . It's small but very well organized with lots of fun local things to shop for . I know they carry the Jazzy sauce which I can't be with out . The Jazzy sauce is sold at the farmers market on Saturdays but you can find the sauces here . Which it's very convenient for me since I don't live near the area . I got my sauce and a sagittarius necklace that was way too cute . Overall all this is a cute and fun store to visit .

Not your traditional gift shop! I love this local gift shop with a serious sense of humor! It's a great place to buy some wacky gag gifts, creative decorations or some unique special items. I personally love their rotating and hilarious collection of cards, stickers, post cards and wrapping paper. This is one of my favorite little shops in town!

Oh heck. This shop is filled with fun, funky items all curated by the owner, Susan. She has a good, clean fun, wicked sense of humor with a punch of sass. You are not going to find Snow Angel figurines and lace Dollie's here. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with owning them (I do). Just sayin the shop has inventory with a more modern vibe than that. They have greeting cards, socks (men and women sizes), stickers, mugs, kitchen towels, magnets, notepads, candles, pillows, etc., etc. etc. Tons of stuff priced at various levels that won't break the bank. Most of the items are crafted and sourced from local businesses and artists. The meaning of buying local is pumped up a level here. Awesome! The shop address is 1731 L Street right on the corner. LGBTQIA friendly. It is in the heart of the Midtown Sacramento Handle district with nearby restaurants, pubs, and shops. The Nudge Eco store is around the corner.

Disclaimer: Explicit content of items I am a lover of socks, stickers, and random trinkets. I discovered Strapping last year and I love it. They have amazing staff, items, and I am always down to spend all of my money there lol. They are inclusive, fun, and their merch shows this. I highly suggest checking out Strapping and seeing their amazing items and chatting with the staff.

We were walking by and decided to stop by because everything do so freaking cute. It's a small store and it's right on the corner so you can't miss it. It's a small store but there is so much they have. This is a great store to get someone a unique gift. I purchased my nephew a gift and my husband a cactus tin mug. My son of course wanted everything but I did let him get a plastic dinosaur. What I loved most is my son was undecided the attendance at the front waited for my son to make a decision then rang me up. I really appreciate extremely great customer service especially when we live in such a rush world that they had the patience to wait. Definitely a 5 start and will recommend this place.

Such a cute gift shop! Huge selection of stickers and silly gifts. I went in for a few Sacramento souvenirs, and there was a good shelf of options!

Strapping's second and newer location is just as appealing and original as the first in Oak Park. It's a store dedicated to thoughtful gifts, knick knacks, cards, novelties and even clothing, and it's all wonderfully selected by the team behind the scenes. This is a must-stop - especially if you're looking for that elusive gift to appease the friend who has everything. First off, applause for their adherence to keeping people safe during COVID. I waited outside briefly as they were required to keep the store to a certain minimum capacity. It's not as big as the store in Oak Park, but it still has the same selection of goodies. A lot of it is friendly and uplifting to minority communities, which I also appreciate. I ended up buying a bunch of stocking stuffers, some stickers and some cards. All things I know my fam will appreciate. Applause, again, for their sense of humor. A lot of what they select has funny messages on it. Like laugh out loud funny. It's important to select the right stock for your shelves, but it's arguably even more important to be able to laugh - especially in times like these.

I highly suggest stopping in this store for gifts, cards, and some fun essentials. The owners are delightful, everyone who has ever helped me is sweet, it's inclusive, darling, and it's so fun to browse. You're guaranteed to smile or giggle at least once in this shop!

UPDATE: Susan the owner reached out to me and asked what happened as she was at another location this day. She was very kind and apologetic about how her employee handled the situation and said that typically they let the parent decide whether or not their child wears a mask. I really hope that worker learns a lesson and doesn't treat anyone else with disrespect. What an absolute joke. I walked in here with the 3 year old I nanny after we had a nice lunch to just walk around. I asked the brunette girl working the front if she had another mask since mine just broke. She handed me two and I put one in my purse and put the other one on while I was still talking to the little boy. She interrupted me and said "put it over your nose" so I said sure and did. Mind you, I have a medical condition where it's hard for me to breathe. Then she asked me to put one on the little boy. I said he's too little. She said I'm pretty sure the rule is 2 years old. I said I'm not putting a mask on this little child?! He's 3. Then she proceeded to loudly and rudely kick me out of the store and yelled that I'm banned forever lol. For not putting a mask on a 3 year old when THEY DO NOTHING ANYWAY. It was absolutely disgusting and that girl has a lot to learn.

Excited to see you in the neighborhood!

I've been here a few times and wondered if they were still in business and there, they were. They haven't changed a bit. They are tastefully decorated in living room sets that are retro. We are shopping for a love seat so my husband sat in all of them hoping to find one. He liked the red minimalist one the most. The only thing is it looks like it might fold out to a futon, but it doesn't and we really need one for when my mother in law comes to visit and other visitors. They have so many items that I kept pointing to and saying "We used to have one of these." The most memorial items were the Pyrex, which my parents still have and a rotary phone which my parents still have just in case the electricity goes out. They also have the push button one and my parents have one of those too. My parents request to keep their land line and just have the local plan which they use to call their friends. They are afraid the power will go out and they won't be able to call anyone for help. And the power does go out in the winter on a regular basis where they live so this is really good for them. The new phones all use electricity. This shop also has lots of cases of jewelry and their broaches were on display on a mine mannequin. They were very sparkly, but I didn't have the time to really browse as the furniture took up most of my time. As we were finishing up my husband made the comment that he really needs to bring his sister and her husband here as she loves these types of store. They are planning on visiting so we'll be taking her here and to Zocalo too as shopping bring on a appetite.
