The owner, Jeremy Lara, was the only contractor who recognized two significant problems on my roof that required added work. Jeremy and his entire crew were a delight to work with. I especially appreciated his time, patience, and conscientious consideration of all my requests for protecting my home, both inside and out. The protection his crew provided for my professionally landscaped gardens and hardscape areas was beyond what other companies were willing to do. During the entire week-long process, Jeremy was prompt in returning my calls, answering my questions, and accommodating my added requests. He exceeded my expectations while remaining competitively priced. Considering the additional care, protection, and service included, I felt I received exceptional value compared with the other bids. I only wish every business could be run as efficiently while being so considerate of its clients' needs and remaining competitively priced. My roof came out beautiful, and my property stayed just as beautiful. I highly recommend Jeremy Lara of Baja Roofing.

We received several quotes from roofing companies, and while Baja Roofing was on the higher end, we…read moreultimately chose them due to their proximity to our home and because they are a family-owned business. At the start, communication was excellent. They responded to calls, texts, and emails promptly. I initially worked with Chris, and once the project began, I was transitioned to Greg. Scheduling took some time due to heavy rain earlier in the year, but once we were on the calendar, they got to work quickly. We chose to invest in top-of-the-line materials because we see our home as a long-term investment in a highly desirable area. During the installation, we anticipated there might be additional costs once the existing roof was removed. When issues were discovered, the team communicated promptly, which I appreciated. However, toward the end of the project, communication became more difficult. I had trouble reaching Chris, Greg, and the owner, and felt like I had to follow up multiple times to get clear answers. One situation that felt uncomfortable was when a prospective client came to our home after being told by Chris that our roof had recently been completed by Baja Roofing. While I understand wanting to showcase their work, it was concerning to have a stranger come to our house(especially because I have a small child) without any prior notice. A heads-up would have been appreciated. Additionally, there were a few instances where incorrect invoices were sent to me. Given the size of this investment, that made me uneasy, as I wanted to ensure everything was accurately documented, including the upgrades we paid for. I also raised a few concerns via email that I felt were somewhat dismissed toward the end of the project. Overall, while the work itself met expectations and started off with strong communication, the lack of consistency toward the end made the experience a little more stressful.

That said, Jaron came over to give us an estimate and an overview. Talking about the project before-hand and what we were looking for. He provided us with a PDF format of the proposal and a sample of what we could get with the shingles. The project date took less than a week to complete! They were thorough and explained what they were doing along with pictures as they worked. We even had a drone shot of the overview of our home. They considered my request and the team was very careful, cleaning up promptly and handling their work with efficiency and speed. I had questions, they were answered shortly after! And the entire time they worked with me on what I needed. I'd recommend Munoz Roof and Roof Removal to anyone, especially if you're unsure. I was referred to Always Reliable Roofing by my friend who had their roof and their parents roof…read moreserviced by Always Reliable Roofing. I'm so happy that they lived up to their name. From the estimate to the roof replacement completion, they demonstrated that they are responsible and reliable. They do what they say! In October 2024, I got estimates from 4 different roofers, Jeff who is the owner of Always Reliable Roofing came. He climbed the roof, climbed the attic, and in less than 30 min, he found things the other roofers did not find. He demonstrated he is well experienced in assessing the roof and was transparent with us on any issues going into the roof replacement. I know my dad and I have a lot of questions and he was patient to answer them all. We also appreciate that he gave us a price estimate without any of the games that others played. In January 2025, we got the money to move forward with the roof replacement. We met Jeff again to pay the deposit, sign the contract, and select the roof color. Jeff got to work immediately by getting the permit from the city. He let us know there was about a 4 to 6 week wait due to other projects ahead of us and the weather forecast. I appreciate that they only start the roof replacement if the weather is rain free for the projected time period needed. While we waited, we had a concern about a rain storm and whether the old roof would hold. I called them and Jeff's wife, Karyna, was very attentive to my questions and concerns. Jeff came to check the roof for water tightness and he would cover the roof if needed. This was greatly appreciated by my dad and myself because it helped us rest assured that they took care of the roof even before the replacement started. Late Feb 2025, Jeff gave us about half week notice that our roof replacement would start. Our roof replacement took place on Monday to Saturday. The team that worked on the roof were supervised by Jeff's son Justin. It started with removal of the old roof. Then Justin met with the city inspector, which passed. Next the team proceeded to add the new roof. Lastly, there was one more inspection which also passed. The ultimate test, is inevitably when something unplanned happens during construction. During the process, Justin and Jeff continued to answer and questions or concerns we had. We greatly appreciated that they were so responsive throughout the whole process. We were surprised how much wood was left in the attic during the roof removal. They don't clean the attic, but they made sure to clean it enough so that the pipes stand straight through the roof. At the end, we noticed a pipe didn't have a cap, and Jeff added a cap right away. And they let us know right away when they discovered some wood that was damaged and would cost a bit more to get replaced. Justin explained the options to us and I felt we made an informed decision and the additional fee was appropriate based on market price for wood. My dad and I are very happy with the service from this family business. Every step of the way, they demonstrated that they are responsible and reliable. They made us feel important and kept us well informed throughout the whole process. A few words that express our experience: fast yet thorough, straightforward, honest, and definitely reliable. I highly recommend Always Reliable Roofing!!!

Five stars, and Top Roofing Services earned every one of them. Top Roofing gave us exactly the kind of experience we hoped to have when taking on a major home project. Our project manager Ever Diaz was fantastic, and he was upfront and honest about something every homeowner should know going in: once they open up the roof, there can be damage that wasn't visible during the initial assessment. We suspected might need a full replacement, and yes, we did but Ever showed us thorough evidence and we were prepared for it. Ever's honesty about that possibility from the start helped us trust him immediately. His crew was professional, hard-working, and kept everything clean throughout the job. That's no small thing when you're talking about a full roof replacement. When the job was complete, you'd barely know they were there, except for the beautiful new roof they left behind. What really set Top Roofing apart was the support we got beyond the job itself. Office manager Amy G. went above and beyond. She handled all the permit coordination seamlessly, and weeks later when we received a random letter from the County Assessor's Office, she took the time to help me complete it. That level of care and follow-through is rare, and we genuinely appreciated it. They do quality work, keep things clean, and actually take care of you through the whole process. I highly recommend them!

We initially met…read morewith Vicko and my contractor to review the scope of the project and go over roofing materials choices. We were guided through the choices available in California- eventually choosing a three layer heavy asphalt shingle that would tolerate walking. They removed the old roof and underpayment. They spent several days repairing the plywood deck and bringing my roof up to code including fire issues. They corrected the attic venting issues, as well. I had 4 old skylights the were replaced with a much better product and improved water resistance. The roof installation took several days due to the precision needed to maintain alignment of the complex shingle pattern. Several of my neighbors have commented on the appearance of my new roof. The final cleanup was thorough. Well worth the cost. I recommend Roofer Hero without reservation.

So now when it was finally time to replace our roof - he was the natural choice. His pricing for roofing work is fair and his knowledge of roofing options was very good. They would show up when they said they would, and worked some very long day. They finished the job within the time they estimated and passed the city inspections with flying colors. We got several other bids, but he was the most honest, least pushy and even willing to re-use our old gutters. (However we were so impressed with his work, we had him replace those gutters anyway!) We also encountered a lot of damaged wood after the old roof was torn off. Hector was very compassionate and worked to make sure all the damaged wood was replaced, but worked with our budget. Highly recommend this team for what could easily be a miserable project!

Sergio was very professional…read moreand was very knowledgeable and was able to communicate differences in materials, cost, installation, and expectations for the entire project. Usually, these installations take about three days with his team. However, with the upcoming El Niño season expecting to be more critical than past years, it took him five days to complete the installation with heat wave weather. In addition to the roof, I requested several active air vents to be installed on my house. The material he used was a high quality, modern active air ventilation system that looks nice when you see it from the street view. Since installation, I've noticed a pretty big difference between my previous roof (installed in 1994) to my current one today. Without any AC running, the house can get a tolerable warm versus an unbearably hot with my previous roof. The AC units are able to work less hard and keep the house cooler with the new roof material. Overall, I would use Sergio and the Sunset Roofing Services team in the near future. This company has done many previous properties within my relatives and family and all have been highly content with their new roofs. I highly recommend this team.
