I had the most annoying squirrel problems the last year or so. They would hop on my roof from a neighbor's tree and found their way into my attic from an opening they made up there. The last straw was when they started to scratch through the drywall in my bedroom ceiling. After calling several pest control people, they could not find how the squirrels were getting up there. But when I finally found Burt, I knew I was talking to someone who knew what he was doing and specialized in dealing with these types of problems. He set up his camera on the roof; within 2 hours, we saw our friendly squirrels entering through the attic fan vent (just as he predicted). Came out the next day and set up traps. I contacted a critter control company prior to Ark Trapping and they concluded that I had a mouse issue. I was about to do work with them until I read their bad review on Yelp. I saw good reviews on Ark Trapping and Burt took my call in the evening while he was on vacation and scheduled an appointment. When he came, he was able to find a large hole where squirrel was entering in our house. If I went with other critter control company, we would still had the same issue since they never bothered to go up the latter to the side of the house where we had the large hole right above our fireplace. With Burt's expertise, he determined that it was squirrel, not mouse (mouse didn't make the climbing nose I described), and he carefully patched all the holes professionally around my house for both mouse and squirrel entrance. Burt is a lifesaver! We discovered a large rat snake hanging out in our laundry room. Burt detoured out our way between jobs to help us get it out of here before our three year old could stumble upon it. I was looking for a bird's nest removal company to cover my dryer exhaust vent on the outside of my condo... and Burt from ARK Trapping came to the rescue. Within a few minutes of sending out an online Yelp request to schedule the company's services, Burt responded and set up a time to talk on the phone. Burt was able to come out the next day and to address/remediate the issue(s) with the exhaust vent. He was very quick, communicative, and professional throughout the process. Burt was recommended by a friend. I was desperate to find help when I heard loud screeching noises throughout the day in my home. I immediately called Ark Trapping & Burt promptly picked up. He began diagnosing my problem right then & there & continually followed up until my problem was solved. At his request, we made a recording of the sounds & he determined that I had a tree frog in/under my home. I couldn't believe it since the noises were unbelievably loud, but you know what? He was right. I found the little guy in a plant. Burt never even made it out to my home (although he did offer to squeeze me in many, many times) since he thought it best that I try to determine the location of the noise. If I could give more than five stars, I would. While my wife and I were out of town for Christmas, we received a call from our pet sitter saying:"There's a squirrel under your couch!" I called several places (searching on google) without any luck on Christmas Night. I did however have a referral to Ark Trapping. I called the number and Burt answered at 9:00PM. After a few agonizing moments on what to do being four hours away, Burt was in his truck with our address in his GPS ready to go. We determined that he would not need to come right away, but his response was second to none! We had peace of mind and two phone numbers in case we needed him. Our stressful situation pressure relief valve with pending guests the next day was ready to pop, but Burt eased our decision making and our unplanned four hour drive on Christmas Night was more laughable. He told us to keep him posted and he would come out for anything we needed. Today, he came out to repair our chimney cap as well as performed an inspection to determine other possible points of entry. He gave us a fair price for his estimate, and once he began the work he realized he was able to repair rather than replace our attic fan cover, thus saving us an unnecessary expense.
