    Absolute thieves. I have already placed a formal complaint with BBB and am in correspondence with…read moreADOT, the MVD and the Department of Consumer Affairs. What happened? Dec 15th / 1100: Paid $45 cash to the tech; Paid $200 to the office of Budget IID; Had device installed. Dec 15th / 1130: The device tells me I've reached my violation limit and will lock me out on the 20th. (By this time I have turned my car off then back on again 1 time since installation 30min prior) Budget IID was made aware of this and responded by telling me that "if I hit the brake pedal while starting the vehicle, that is considered a violation which costs $50". I double-checked the user manual I was sent, along with the paperwork I signed and nowhere is there ANY mention of hitting the brake pedal causing a violation. I told them I wanted it removed from my vehicle. They tried telling me I would be charged a fee for "early termination of contract" but I never signed a 6-month contract! I pointed that out to them and they responded by agreeing to waive the said fee (for early termination of a contract I never signed) but I would still have to pay the shop $75 to remove the device! lol Then when I asked where the rest of the $200 payment I gave them went they responded, again, with "Oh that goes toward your early termination fee:" (of the contract I never signed!) This has far surpassed ridiculous. It's a good thing I don't need that vehicle to get to work right now or anything or I would be screwed! I've given up on the back and forth and am escalating the matter to the proper authorities. I've attached photos of the emails I mentioned. I tried to upload the user manual they sent me (the one that makes no mention of a brake pedal causing a $50 violation) but it won't let me.     Worst place to get your interlock device installed. Its a bluetooth device thats wireless and you…read morehave to turn on and turn off manually. If u accidentally forget to turn off the device and it sits there for a bit. you'll get a refusal tetest nnotification and you'll have to take it in for service at your cost of 65 dollars everytime.. plus your monthly fee.. i 0ay to much for this device and i suggest everybody to f8nd a better company..

    Read before considering to do business with this company. because you deserve to be treated with…read morerespect, and as a human being. First, their devices are awful, it's to bulky, takes way to much time to turn on and go through it's ready sequence before starting vehicle. You must power off the device after turning off your vehicle, even if you're just running into a store, because if the device is left on you may just return back and see that the device asked you for a retest blow even thought your car was turned off. This would result in a retest violation and the DMV would extend your contract for another 6 months. More importantly, the customer support/service I received was ok at times, however the management this company has hired is terrible. My DMV records showed my time was served and the device could be removed. Upon setting the removal date, my technician Efran who is the nicest guy informed me that I have a credit that would be coming back to me after the removal and for me to contact the company to begin initiating that credit. I called the office and no one seemed to have an answer and needed to consult management and return my call. I received a call back with the news that I was incorrect about having a credit and in fact I owed them $190. When I asked this representative to explain these charges, they had a difficult time. I asked to speak with management or the person in charge who could walk me through to explain this and the representative said I cannot provide you his contact information to call because he's to busy to speak but I will forward you the email of what he wrote in explanation along with his email. Management to busy to speak with a customer and provide support and guest services, really??? What I want to know is who is hiring such candidates and placing them in these positions? I wrote an email to the said management who looked into my account, you know the same person who didn't have time to speak with a customer, to ask them to kindly contact me to explain the charges and why your company dropped the ball on this and didn't ever see that I had a past due amount until I called to inquire about my credit that one of their technicians shared I was due back. To my surprise, after my inquiry was made about a credit due back to me and the managements findings that I actually owe them, the following day I receive an email with a past due invoice telling me that my account is overdue 85days and if I don't pay the said amount, I will incur a fee of $5 per day until paid in full. This is how this company handled me as a customer. The said management never called me even though I left them my personal contact number and or responded to my email to this day. This is why we have the BBB and platforms like Yelp so that we can share our experiences to guide one another in SUPPORT, which I'm sad to say I never received from this company, for of becano human being, I repeat no one deserves to be treated in such a manner.
