Dec 15th / 1100: Paid $45 cash to the tech; Paid $200 to the office of Budget IID; Had device installed. Dec 15th / 1130: The device tells me I've reached my violation limit and will lock me out on the 20th. (By this time I have turned my car off then back on again 1 time since installation 30min prior) Budget IID was made aware of this and responded by telling me that "if I hit the brake pedal while starting the vehicle, that is considered a violation which costs $50". I double-checked the user manual I was sent, along with the paperwork I signed and nowhere is there ANY mention of hitting the brake pedal causing a violation. I told them I wanted it removed from my vehicle. They tried telling me I would be charged a fee for "early termination of contract" but I never signed a 6-month contract! I pointed that out to them and they responded by agreeing to waive the said fee (for early termination of a contract I never signed) but I would still have to pay the shop $75 to remove the device! lol Then when I asked where the rest of the $200 payment I gave them went they responded, again, with "Oh that goes toward your early termination fee:" (of the contract I never signed!) This has far surpassed ridiculous. It's a good thing I don't need that vehicle to get to work right now or anything or I would be screwed! I've given up on the back and forth and am escalating the matter to the proper authorities. I've attached photos of the emails I mentioned. I tried to upload the user manual they sent me (the one that makes no mention of a brake pedal causing a $50 violation) but it won't let me. I went back to A+ Auto Glass who warrantied their work after 3 years, mind you, and they reattached the rear view mirror and recalibrated all the electronics free of charge. Stated that they sell their vehicles "wholesale" to the public, but there is no mention on their website or their sales lot They write "as is" in a area saying sign here stating that u acknowledge u r buying vehicle "as is" & state that it voids the implied warranty. Hid things about the truck, like it had been in an accident, stated carfax doesnt show any accidents since 2013, If u search the value of the truck with the damage they sold it with its only worth $5k tops, not $20k. Refuses to fix anything but sending me used seatbelt. I kept all quotes & receipts. I suggest anyone that has had the same experience or believes they hid or straight out lied about any vehicles u may have been sold by this company & the owner to file an AG consumer complaint, as I am. Enough complaint about the same issues, or if the AG finds anything that was considered illegal or unethical business practices they can take more action against them. They use deceptive means to hide damage, or anything they either can't or refused to fix to sell a save vehicle, & will charge u for whatever repairs they did b4 selling it to u. Charged me an extra $1k for a water pump & ac, instead of fixing the real damage that could hurt someone. Checking they brakes is all they say they are required to do to sale their autos. Doesn't matter to them if the wheels come off or the steering, or hub come off as long as they changed the brake b4 they sold it.

As a disabled veteran he told me he could not accept a COPY of my DD214 and insisted the he needed the original, even though the website specifically stated a copy of your DD214, and that I would have to go to the main branch. I immediately requested a manager, which was contacted via phone mind you, to which they said my documentation was okay to use but that their ability to search veterans in their system was down and that I would again have to go to the main office. complete and total waste of my time. Seemed like he just didn't want to deal with working I guess.
