Before Covid we had contacted Brent and got a quote to do roughly half of our 2,100 sq ft house. The grout was more than 20 years old and looked terrible. Then Covid hit and we put him off. Two months ago we reconnected and he re-quoted the job. Just a tad higher for materials. We scheduled for yesterday.
Brent and Joe showed up on schedule at 9 AM. Brent explained the process, that we could be free to move about the house but walk carefully on the squares. They moved the really heavy furniture so they could get behind them, ultimately putting them back.First they swept/vacuumed the floor then washed it thoroughly and let it dry. Then they were on their knees for the finishing. With a toothbrush, they worked every line with the grout color we selected. (Yes you have a choice.). Toothbrush, wipe away any excess, scrape any former debris the washing didn't get. They were here for seven hours. A lot of knee time. They finished and instructed us in care. I asked how often for area touch ups. I was expecting a little sales push but Brent said it varies but it should stay 3-5 years. Then we can call him back for touch ups in heavily trafficked areas.
Today we are in awe. We let it cure for 24 hours before starting to move stuff back. The tile has never looked this good. I mean spectacular. Price well worth it. Thanks Brent and Joe. read more
