The stress of having your home torn apart and put back together from The crazy amount of leaks (8 in my case) is a feeling of uncertainty and unpredictability... this caused me so many worries,  stresses,  and moments of tears. To be honest though,  i learned so much in this process,  and the first lesson was trust! The trust that there ARE people who have gifts that I don't!!! I needed to trust that the gifts of these people would heal my home! When I decided to lay down my feelings,  open up and let go and let things flow,  every stress and worry went away! It started with releasing those stresses when I spoke to STEVE from the Demo dept of Preferred Choice.  Him and his crew were literally like family!!! Super professional..... you know,  it could be easily uncomfortable with huge men around but NO.... these guys were super fabulous!!!! The coolest thing is you realize as professionals.... they're human too and when you talk to them... they really connect and you realize WHY THEY DO WHAT THEY DO and it all comes together that WHY trusting them is important!!!!! It def relived my stress! I adopted them as my brothers lol!!! There's no way I could do what they do! Now,  Steve left me in the hands of Ryan,  again... now scared of transition lol.. but I trusted that if STEVE said RYAN was amazing,  then I knew Ryan was amazing,  because STEVE IS!!! I can't not trust his word now,  he's shown me nothing but honesty, transparency,  and professionalism. Now here's Steve..... SUPER friendly,  blunt but kind,  very transparent which is important because there's no hidden agenda and he provided his AVAILABILITY JUST LIKE STEVE! If i called,  they were there,  NO MATTER WHAT! When 3rd party companies made a mistake,  Preferred Choice MADE SURE TO FIX THEM RIGHT AWAY!!!!! The advocacy the RYAN had for me,  my home, and my family was beyond fabulous! His patience,  follow through,  and advocacy was brilliant! You know,  too prove that relationships matter to preferred choice.... even though the Demo guys were done with their job,  I still got calls from them checking up on us!!!!!! Thank you for that STEVE! There was one worker that stood out the most to me (outside of STEVE and RYAN of course)... They were all amazing,  I just wished I could remember them all (but i remember their faces!).... Buutttt..... A.J. was such a consistent,  hard worker that came early,  stayed late,  kind,  professional,  and asked questions to ensure satisfaction or choice! I LOVE THAT!!!!! HE WAS A TRUE ROCKSTAR n if i could hire him just as my handy man,  he'd be my GO TO!!!! I'M IN THE FULLEST OF GRATITUDE for the hard work and dedication of this company and their people.  They are literally like an extended family, and I wouldn't want anyone else Working on my home with such a HUGE JOB!!!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU BEYOND WORDS! I OWE Y'ALL A PIZZA PARTY ;) I hope your boss let's me!!!! Love love love Preferred Choice! YOU DESERVE THOUSANDS OF STARS, NOT JUST 5 !!

You know I hate giving 1 or 2 stars reviews but here we go: Preferred Choice Restoration Review -The water softener burst on Friday 8/2 morning, damaged the garage, laundry room, hallway closet, foyer closet, most of the baseboard and partial of the walls inside the home. My plumber stopped the leak and he recommended Preferred Choice and Sarah would take care of all this for me. I should have done some research before just calling, I was just overwhelmed by this damaged and upcoming surgery. -Cameron Friday 8/2 in the afternoon from the Preferred Choice Restoration side of the company came out. He reviewed, marked it up, treated the areas with a spray, left 2 fan for the garage, and one for the foyer closet. He said someone from the company will call and/or come by to check on the process during the weekend. No one did called or come over to check until Monday. -Monday Luis came back to check, review the process, and let us know the demo team was coming out on Tuesday. -Demo team came out on Tuesday, tore out the garage walls, baseboard, grout, closet walls, etc They cleaned very nice after themselves in the house. The garage was a cleaned up ok. They left more fans and a dehumidifier. They did not check to see if all the electrical was worked when they left. I did not realized 30 mins later, some of the lights, garage door, laundry room, etc. was out. I had to call them to come back. They came back turned everything back on. -They removed my water heater during demo, so I assume everything was put back together. Not only we did not have hot water, but it started to leak from there they dwelled the pipes back on. I notified the owner Sarah about the issue. -Cameron came out on Saturday. He only came to remove the fans and dehumidifier. He did do anything about the leak from the water heater and the fact we have not had hot water in the house since they left on Tuesday. He told us to call my plumber to fix it. I notified the owner Sarah about the issue again. She told me to get a hold of my plumber as well. Very fortunate that my plumber is a neighbor and he came by on Morning morning to stop the leak. But still no hot water. I notified the owner Sarah about the issue. -Luis came back on Tuesday and figured out the issue, the demo team from 7 days ago never connected back the electrical element. We had hot water again. I was trying to run my laundry and found out the water spouts were not turned back to on from the demo team. Preferred Choice Construction Review -Jeff the Project Manager came out to see what is to be repaired. He gave me timelines and did call when he was suppose to to advise me of the process. -The construction crew came out on 8/22 Thursday almost finished with the walls, baseboards, paint, etc. They cleaned up well after themselves. -Then 8/28 Wednesday, the Quality Manager came to complete the rest of the repairs, paint, grouts, and review the work. I showed him the constructed areas and what is still left. He first argued with me and did not want to fill the gaps (were the grout was). I was like your company tore it out and I need to back to seal the gaps left by the new baseboards. He said it is not side of the companies issue. When he left I noticed gaps and cracks everywhere (see my pictures). No, I did not call the owner Sarah this time. I had surgery the next day and I did not want to deal with the stress of all horrible experiences with both Preferred Choice Restoration & Construction. I am 1/2 way recovered from my surgery today and now I still have to deal with the gap and grout issues. What a headache! I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

Your efforts saved us more than 50% compared to other companies' estimates for the exact same scope of work something we're still amazed by. The third-party consulting firm was equally impressed with the quality and professionalism demonstrated by your crew. We truly value your commitment to excellence and integrity, and we look forward to working with you again in the future. Overall the best prices I could find for full house restoration service.

Everyone we dealt with was very pleasant, and they may do excellent quality work. However: 1. We were told our estimate had been approved by insurance and sent a contract to sign. We were pressured a couple of times to sign the contract. When I checked with our insurance, the estimate had, in fact, not been approved. 2. The contract contained a clause that said we agreed to purchase Builders Risk insurance, which indemnifies the company against any loss of building materials or tools while working on a job. This is a huge conflict of interest and our lawyer advised us against it. This contract line is opening a door to potential contractor fraud on the customer's dime. We would never have signed a contract without this clause removed. 3. Another clause stated that we would be responsible for a larger deposit if the estimate were above a certain total, or any overages above the estimate amount. While this seems reasonable, I wanted to have a copy of the estimate in-hand before agreeing to this clause. When I asked for a copy of the estimate, I was told, "we are not allowed to give you a copy without insurance permission." Odd, since the other company we got a bid from (who works with our insurance so frequently that they were auto-approved) gave us their bid directly before sending it to insurance. When I said we definitely would not sign any contract until we had a copy of the estimate, then the "portal to download it was down." Some concerning business tactics seemed to be going on here. We did not feel comfortable moving forward with this company, and felt a duty to let others know as they're making decisions.

AZ Fire and Water Restoration, I know your company is busy with a lot of jobs, and you wished you were finally going to be done at my place, but...then I experienced TWO flooding incidents, seriously less than 30 days apart. From the beginning: there were several subcontractors in my house those first few days. Vincent/Victor..from the environmental company, sorry I can't remember your name, I was so sick with the flu, but you explained everything that was going to happen, who everyone was...it started to make sense and wasn't nerve wracking. Alex was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about what needed to be done to dry out my house. I appreciate that he took the time to explain what needed to be done. I had SO Many questions. Brad had to work with me on the asbestos in the walls mortar and drywall paint in the two rooms. What a nightmare that was!! All this time living here, not knowing I was living along a pollutant. Brad was cool, he helped to cushion the expense that goes along with that environmental abatement, he was so patient while I got frustrated with...everything!!! Just dealing with living at a hotel... Out of a suitcase while the house was being renovated. Bob Miller! Another One of the good guys, I found him to be fair and kind. Bob should have been on the project from day one, but he is on the repair side, not the removal side, so when he took charge of the project, it got extra attention, while I was home sick with the flu. The teams worked hard, and I never heard a thing...they worked long hours and full days to put my house back together. And when the house frickin flooded the 2nd time, because of an unknown broken pipe, BOB stepped in to help me with my homeowner's insurance company so I didn't have to file another claim. I kind of feel like BOB had my best interests in making things right! Thanks to Hector and Richard, the two rooms look amazing. The walls are smooth and seamless. You can't tell there was ever even a repair. And the paint job is fantastic. Mark with Zippity Split Plumbing, thanks for fixing the drain issues. I hope there isn't a next time, but I appreciate all the work that was completed professionally in putting my house back together.

Upon having our master shower remediated for mold through our home insurance policy, we were on the hunt for a company that could reconstruct the shower. I submitted a request through Yelp, and Global Prevention Services responded and got me scheduled for a consultation immediately. Shortly after this consultation, the Global Prevention Services Project Coordinator, Kimberly, put together several service estimates for me, as we weren't yet sure the direction we wanted to go with the shower tile. Kimberly was patient with us as we picked out materials and went back and forth on what we wanted to do! Due to our mold experience, we ultimately decided we wanted to limit the amount of grout in the shower, in hopes of minimizing the chances of it failing. With that, we started the reconstruction! Throughout the whole process, Kimberly and Rudy, the project manager, were incredibly thorough, communicative, and overall, just really helpful. We could not be more grateful for the time and effort both Kimberly and Rudy spent trying to make our shower dreams come true. I would also love to give a shout out to all of the guys who helped load and unload HUGE porcelain slabs -- that is no easy feat! I think it is also important to thank both the CEO, Michael and the President, Jeanette for checking in throughout the project to ensure our satisfaction. I have never been treated with so much care as a customer. The whole team deserves recognition for the role they played in getting this job to the finish line. The only thing left to do is install the shower door. We can't wait to use and love this shower for years to come!

Unlike other companies that try to sell you on doing things that aren't needed! They worked so well with my budget, even did extra work here and there to make sure the place looked great for tenants! Don't hesitate to reach out to them! You'll never need to look for another remodeling business again... My go to for any future rental properties in AZ! Such a pleasure to work with and I look forward to working with them again!
