I called this past Friday and Saturday with a very specific issue regarding a discontinued New Balance style I was hoping to find. Isak was gracious, friendly, and his knowledge of shoes is clearly extensive. When we realized the style was discontinued, he didn't stop there--he went the extra mile to check the main warehouse for any remaining stock. Although they were unavailable, Isak spent a significant amount of time discussing numerous comparable alternatives with me. What impressed me most was that even when it became clear I wouldn't be making a purchase that day, Isak remained incredibly kind and patient. Additionally, Isak suggested contacting their flagship store, Gimre's, which is right in my hometown of Astoria, saving me the long trip from the coast to Tigard. Isak displayed a level of integrity and professionalism that is rare to find. I am deeply appreciative of his expertise and will definitely be returning to this location in the future!

When I try to verify the membership on their website, it says I don't have one. I called the store, and the person I spoke with said my email had been entered incorrectly (a letter and number was swapped) and that I should receive my receipt by the end of the day. What concerns me is that no one ever asked me for my email address during checkout or asked me to verify it, despite signing me up for a membership with an automatic renewal. I assumed there wouldn't be an issue because I had already entered my email myself for the foot scan, but somehow my email was still entered incorrectly on their end. I've never had an emailed receipt take that long from any other retailer, and their website still says I don't have a membership. I'll check again tomorrow, and if these issues still aren't resolved, I'll contact my bank to block any future recurring charges. The whole experience just felt strange. They have straight, loose, wide, flare and barrel styles. and opted for a pair of high waist, slightly wide leg jeans that fit perfectly. Love that they offer petite, regular and tall inseams. Hate having to spend $30 to hem jeans and this saves the cost and trouble. Of course the have more than jeans. The store was stocked with sweaters, tops, jackets, and more. For parking, I drive down Westover and parked in the free garage right before Petco Unleashed. Levys is right next store so it's super convenient.

I found parking around the corner which was a bit of a surprise. Parking off of 23rd can often be challenging. As I entered, I was created by the security guard with a hello and welcome to the store. This location always has security which I'm not surprised with the on-going homeless problems that Portland has been facing. The store was clean, well organized and not to busy, which was nice. They were also having a 60% off sale on a good amount of items. I resisted and stayed focused on my original goal - confirming if the trucker Jean jacket was the right size or if I wanted to go up a size. The woman who assisted me looked both on line and throughout the store for a size up, but unfortunately Levi's was sold out of the jacket. She took the time however to offer alternative styles and discussed that she would ensure I new any cost adjustments should I decide on a different style. After trying on several other Jean jacket styles in a medium, it was clear a size medium was way too big. I tried my original jacket back on and both the woman who had been helping me so kindly as well as the other woman working did a fit on my jacket (perfect on the shoulders, etc). I decided to keep the one I had gotten. I want to say thank you to the two woman working here today. They were both very kind, helpful and just genuinely nice and pleasant. Some sections are marked, but others, like sketchers, are located in several different places. They carry all the usual suspects - Sketchers, Nike, Reebok, New Balance, Birkenstock, Fry, Uggs, Ryka, Clarks, White Mountain, Puma, Adidas and more. Prices are good, but I always do a search online to make sure it's the best price available. Many times it is, but sometimes the same shoe can be bought online for less so if it fits and I like it, I order it online. I come to the physical store because I need to try on shoes. I need arch support and a wide toe bed so I can't take a chance of buying shoes or sandals without testing them out. Famous Footware also sells online and since I loved the sneakers so much, and knew they fit well after wearing a few weeks, I bought another pair online in white and silver. If you sign up for their rewards program, they ship to your house for free and you can return at the store for free if it doesn't work out. There were a few people working but they don't offer help. Assuming it's because their business model is more of a do it yourself model . They put all the shoes and sizes out in the floor and you find and try on what you like. It got tiring because I tried on so many and was conscientious and pout everything back that didn't work out.
