My husband's filet mignon lacked flavor. The mashed potatoes were gummy and translucent. They should not have been served. My salmon special came out with the wrong sides, not once, but twice. They tried to give me those disgusting mashed potatoes and green beans, when the specials page said pilaf and asparagus. When I finally got the rice pilaf, it lacked seasoning. The asparagus were blackened. After being sent back twice, the salmon was warm, not hot. The pub food may be good. On top of that, the staff and people there are amazing. They are kind, efficient and resourceful. On my last visit, I was stranded without my keys (don't ask - a real bonehead move involving a car that needs a key nearby in order to start but will run anywhere once it is started) and they found a way to get me to my friend's house and back so I could start my car. My chicken pesto caprese on ciabatta was good but it did taste like something was missing- but I couldn't tell you what. But the sweet potato fries were great! We chose to have Easter dinner at Dreo and I am so so glad we did! We had a party of 7 and we were very excited to finally try Dreo. We started with 2 orders of the calamari and the spinach dip special. My husband noticed the calamari also had shrimp which I am allergic to. They happily removed the shrimp but unfortunately it's fried in the same oil (which is completely logical) but everyone at our table (besides me) throughly enjoyed the calamari. I cannot even begin to explain how good the spinach dip was. I'm not sure I'll have want to eat spinach dip without garlic bread again!!! Next up entrees: 2 ribeyes, 1 NY strip, 1 Korean BBQ Bowl, 1 Soy Maple Glazed Salmon, and 1 Tuscan Fried Chicken.
