*Updated review* In the retail world, customer service is everything (of course quality of product, price etc etc is important too). I had one of those experiences with Aria Florist that was worth changing my review for. I had ordered an arrangement a couple of weeks ago for Mother's Day, and without going into a bunch of details, essentially, the wrong arrangement was sent. Unfortunately the arrangement looked nothing like what I ordered and the flowers didn't reflect the amount of money I paid (I've ordered tons of flowers before so I have a good sense of what costs what). The arrangement was delivered on Sat (I had asked for that) and when my mom sent a picture to me, I immediately became confused and then annoyed and thought "argh! Was this a bait and switch? Did I get duped? What the heck happened here? Did they run out of the flowers I wanted?" Now admittedly I acted in a hasty fashion and wrote a review on Yelp literally 5 mins after seeing the picture. It was a long, but I think fair representation of what happened. Well, fast forward to Sunday, Mother's Day, I talked to my mom on the phone in the morning and she was very gracious about the arrangement (meanwhile I groused about it but then moved on because there are other things to talk about). After I hung up, I debated on whether I wanted to email the florist to complain-- when literally after that thought left my head, I got a text from Lexis, one of the florists at Aria. She apologized for the mix up and said that another bouquet was on the way to my mother. By 11 am Sunday morning (I kid you not) my mother received another bouquet that was nice. Now that made up for the first mix-up (still not the Cymbidium orchids I ordered but the effort was commendable), the grousing I did and the fact that it saved me a bunch of time and headache for having to reach out to Aria, tell them what happened, etc etc. If every business did this I would more likely be a repeat customer. So bravo Aria, for making this right for everyone on Mother's Day. read more

I had a terrible experience with Aria Florist. The flowers arrived with no card and no note as to who they were from even though I wrote a message and card. The delivery driver was super rude and the flower arrangement was sloppy. I paid over $80 for this. I will never use Aria again, will tell all my friends not to use. Very disappointed. read more

Got a lovely bouquet of flower from Aria this Valentine from my husband! Delivered to our doors in the morning. I Use to always purchase small bunches for the house with them, the owners are both super friendly and nice. Most convenient was that I could just message them about what flowers I want, and they are always able to create exceptional flower bouquets. Price is also very reasonable, not over charged. I found this floral shop by just walking by and thought I would ask the owner to see if she could make a custom floral design for mother-in-law..she was very helpful and helped me pick out different types of flowers to make a beautiful bouquet. I didn't need the bouquet for another week but the owner said I could just txt her when I needed it so that I could swing by and just pick it up!! They do rainbow roses on special order, however, they're $$$. I did pick out some singles (white) and made some of my own. Not as stellar as what you would get in a flower shop, however, it was a fun experiment to do with some of the kids in my hood. $$ for singles. Customer service was okay. read more

WONDERFUL florist!! I contacted them somewhat last minute for a floral crown and boutonnieres/corsages. I emailed Michelle the owner 2 concept images for the type of floral crown I wanted and told her the types of flowers I liked as examples, even though I knew they were not in season. I paid over the phone. When I told Michelle I would be catching a morning ferry on the morning of, she was so amazing and offered to meet me at her shop before opening hours so I could pick everything up, to ensure the flowers would last as long as possible!! (so I didn't have to pick them up the night before and risk them wilting). When I picked them up early that morning the crown and flowers were really beautiful!! Her pricing was fantastic compared to other florists and she even somehow managed to get the flowers I mentioned, even though they were not in season!! I will start off by saying that I ordered flowers for my girlfriend who lives on the other side of the continent as me to try to bring a smile to her face while I am separated from her. I went through a third party internet service. However, because of a miscommunication between this florist and this third party flower internet company, the flowers that I ordered were not delivered. Even when the third party company refused to help me in the resolution of getting the flowers that I paid for to my girlfriend, Aria contacted me and worked tirelessly to resolve the situation and get my girlfriend an incredibly beautiful and lush arrangement. I could not be happier with the flowers, the service, and the reaction the flowers got from my girlfriend. I could not recommend this company any more highly. It is great to see that there are businesses like Aria still out there who put the customer first. They made my day and my girlfriend's as well. The service is absolutely great. I have gotten many different bouquets from Aria and they have all been stunning. Everything in the store is very well put together and very clean. Amazing!! I (quite naively) left ordering my wedding bouquet till the very last minute and ended up being refused in other places. I was becoming quite desperate when entering the door of Aria, fully prepared to be denied again. Nothing of that happened! The very friendly and helpful staff, after showing a slight surprise at my last-minute arrangement, shifted their full attention to me and my wishes, almost reading my mind as to the flower choice and style of the bouquet. Chelsea, the florist, put away her other orders and fully focused on me. The bouquet turned out beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Thank you very very much! P.S. Apart from cut flowers and various bouquets they can prepare for you on the spot, I've noticed LOTS of living flowers you can choose from and the staff is very happy to give you advise on how to take care of the flowers for free. Just moved to the Broadway West neighbourhood and found this lovely flower shop! Impressed by the friendly and helpful staff..... I wasn't sure what I wanted and Chelsea, the florist, helped me select some simple cut flowers that look lovely in my home. Aria has a great selection of orchids, potted plants, cut flowers and well priced bouquets. The shop is spacious and easy to browse around in. Will most certainly be back read more
