It was my friend's birthday on May 5th, and not being able to celebrate with her due to COVID, I wanted to do something special, as she is going through a rough time. So I decided to surprise her with flowers. Never having ordered flowers for delivery before, I had no idea where to order from, or who would still be open during the pandemic, but thanks to Issabelle F.'s lists of local businesses, I found Choice Flowers. The ordering process was simple, and the day of the delivery, I received a phone call from the delivery driver asking if I knew my friend's buzzer number. Unfortunately I didn't, and I told him I would call my friend and then call him right back. He said that if I gave him my friend's number, he could call her himself. About an hour later, I received a call from my friend thanking me for the flowers -- she loved them. Apparently, she wasn't home when the delivery driver called her, but she was not far from home, and he patiently waited the ten minutes it took for her to get home -- she said that he didn't want to leave the flowers outside of her building. Great customer service! While the delivery fee of $15 was a bit pricey (the price ranges depending on where the flowers are being delivered), Choice Flowers certainly earned it, and it was reassuring to know that they do their best to ensure that the flowers are delivered. I then ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom for Mother's Day, and this time I made sure I included the buzzer number, as well as her phone number. I have no doubt they will be delivered to her, and I would order from them again. read more

Beautiful flower arrangements, slight hiccup with their service. I had requested a bouquet via their website for a co workers birthday two days prior. On the day of, I arrived right when the store opened hoping to pick up the flowers and get to work without being late. When I arrived at the store, the lady had trouble finding my order and explained to me that it wasn't made yet. I was very disappointed because I had ordered it two days in advance and notified them that it is a pick (not delivery). I asked if she can make the bouquet now since I won't have time to come back later today. She was very apologetic and had the bouquet ready in about 15min. After my other go-to florist in Vancouver closed (RIP Blumen!), I was looking for a new spot that I could rely on for floral delivery. I live across the country, so being able to trust the quality of each bouquet without seeing it is key for me. I ordered an all-white bouquet for my mother's birthday from Choice over the phone, and promptly received an email confirmation with all the delivery details, and to double check the text of the note card. This is a really nice touch. Unfortunately, when the bouquet arrived, my mum sent me a photo and it was not what I had requested - it was multi-coloured, not all white. I sent the photo to Choice and explained the situation. Helen was incredibly courteous and understanding and promptly sent a whole other bouquet to my mum to make up for their error. This flower shop is conveniently located by Burrard Station and always has the freshest displays! I came here to get flowers for my mother's birthday about an hour before they closed. Anna, the owner, was the sweetest! I was in a bit of a hurry and wasn't sure exactly what kind of bouquet I wanted so she asked me what colours my mother liked and went with that. She handpicked and put this bouquet together right before my eyes. I was amazed at her skill and how it turned out! Such a beautiful arrangement and my mother adored it! Picture shows flowers will come with a vase however flowers showed up with no vase. Although the customer service representative states that the description says tied up flowers which contradicts the picture. When placing an order online they should clearly state that the flowers DO NOT come with a vase. For $104 dollars this was a waste of money and very disappointing. I'm in New York and needed to send flowers to a relative in Vancouver BC for their (2nd) wedding. This time without Covid. We were unable to attend but thought sending a very special arrangement would be appropriate. I spoke with Anna at Choice Flowers and explained what I wanted. Included had to be 12 cream colored roses. Well, she took pictures of 3 boxes of yellow and cream colored roses and texted them to me so I could choose exactly which color I wanted, along with the other flowers in the arrangement. This unassuming flower shop is tucked away in the equally unassuming Royal Centre Mall. I walked by it dozens of times without paying much attention, until I wanted some flowers to brighten my office on a particularly dreary day. I walked in and asked if there were any pre-made bouquets for about $20. The woman working said she didn't have any, but if I told her which colours or theme I would like, she would gladly whip one up. I mentioned I wanted an autumn theme, and away she went to work. WIthin a few minutes, she had crafted a beautiful bouquet for me, the nicest bouquet I have ever purchased in the $20.00 range. I purchased a vase, which she washed out and then put all the flowers in, trimming the stems and finishing it off with a bow to garnish the vase. She was very friendly, and I was extremely pleased with the service I received, so I will definitely be back. I know several other people in my office purchase bouquets from Choice Flowers from time to time for clients or staff. The bouquets I have seen in the office have all been envy-worthy (I'm still waiting for mine... hint hint). Ok, I have to say I was a bit disappointed when I first came to this flower shop. Reason: it was supposed to be open at 10am, both their Yelp page and the hours at the store said so. I waited for about 20 minutes, but left after since I had better things to do than waiting. Afternoon same day, I called ahead to confirm their closing hour. Got there 10 minutes later. The friendly lady, which I suppose was the owner, helped me perfectly through selecting something for my wife's 30th birthday. I kinda knew what I wanted, which were red roses. Working downtown and having to commit to a flower shop around the area is extremely tough and usually costs an arm and a leg.....that being said, I came into this shop 2 days ago after reading reviews online and was greeted with the sweetest Korean(?) lady. I forgot to ask for her name but she was so great!( from what I see on the webiste I think her name is Linda) I told her that it was for a graduation and then told her my budget and she told me I could come back after work to pick them up. When I came back and saw what she did I was so happy, the bouquet was absolutely gorgeous and better than any other flower shop I have seen for the around the same price.
