UPDATE [May.12.2019]: I ordered from Evvie & Olive instead this year. The quality of their bouquet far exceeded what I received from Celsia ---- I live in HK and my mom is in Vancouver. I always order flowers from 1 particular shop but they raised their prices this year so I decided to try ordering from Celsia instead since they are also highly rated online. While the bouquet of flowers were delivered promptly, according to my mom (who loved the gesture but was honest with me) the quality was not up to par with flowers she received in previous years. This year she said the flowers were all completely bloomed or near wilting which means they won't last long in the house. I am sure on regular basis Celsia is probably a great florist but when it comes to special occasions and bulk orders they pale in comparison to the quality of blooms received from Garden Party Flowers. Will have to see whether I decide to try yet another florist next year or stick with them. read more

I don't live in Vancouver but needed a local florist to create a tasteful, memorable, and elegant arrangement and deliver it to my local relatives. I was a bit nervous about doing it online, since it's hard to know what I would expect. I looked around several shops and settled on Celsia Florist and I'm glad I did. Joh and the team did a great job with the arrangement. I appreciated that they had a chat function on their website where I can ask questions before ordering. They were able to tell me what types of flowers they have at the time and set expectations for me as to about how many flowers I should expect in the arrangement based on my budget. That helped allay my concerns of ordering online. Since I was not there to see the arrangement, their team was nice enough to to send a picture of their work to me. The only constructive feedback I have would be to show examples of arrangements in all categories, such as sympathy arrangements. My boyfriend and I were looking to purchase a bouquet for his mother for her birthday and mother's day and within minutes navigating on their website, we were able to find a beautiful bouquet and ordered it for delivery within the next few days. Celsia offers delivery for all of the lower mainland and it was only an additional $15 to get it delivered to us in Burnaby and we were happy to pay for that. We also were able to pay a bit extra for an add on card. On the day of, the flowers were delivered smoothly and quickly and the bouquet was so beautiful. The card was also written so beautifully in cursive and had our message inside. We were also able to track where the driver was when they were on their way with the flowers, Celsia texted us a tracking link for us to see the ETA. Although my first order was a disaster, they earn five stars for their customer service in resolving the issue. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered to my wife at her office on Valentine's Day. There was no indication on the order confirmation that there would be any issue with that delivery date. Unfortunately, their delivery service got overwhelmed, and didn't show up until 7:30pm that day. They called my wife, and ended up delivering the bouquet to our home. Then, the next day, the flowers started dying. I emailed them with the complaint, and requested a refund. Eddy responded promptly. Not only did she honor my request, she also offered the option of delivering a replacement bouquet the following day, or a credit toward a future order. I decided to give Celsia Florist a try after reading the Yelp reviews. My normal go-to florist in Downtown was closing early for a summer break, so I needed to find a florist somewhere in my area for a birthday bouquet for a friend the next day. I found their website really helpful and liked that their arrangements were not generic--instead, their bouquets were beautiful and romantic, generally for $50 and up. I also liked that you could choose colour schemes and that they were defined, e.g. "soft" = "cream/pastels." I went for a clean and classic bouquet with soft colours ($50) and ordered it over the phone since there was no pickup option online. When I picked up my bouquet the next day, I was very impressed. I was worried that spending on the lower end of their prices would mean I would get a small, sparse bouquet. What I got was gorgeous--a very full bouquet with lots of beautiful types of flowers. It was wrapped in brown paper and standing in a narrow box (I later realized that I should've left it standing because there was water at the bottom of the bouquet--oops!). My only complaint was that some of the roses were quite bloomed already, but that was far outweighed by the beauty of the arrangement. I will definitely return for any future flower needs! read more

My go-to florist for special occasions every year. They have a great taste in designing a bouquet of flowers, good options to choose from, and they also offer deliveries. One year they screwed up my order, delivered part of my order on mother's day. The surprise got ruined a little bit, but they made up for it by sending the rest of my order as well as another bouquet as a token of apology. (it wasn't a great bouquet but I took the gesture) Considering everything, it's on the pricier side, hence 4 stars. If they can only use fresh flowers all the time and bring down the price a little bit, it would sure be a 5 star florist. read more

Ordering was easy online and it worked out great since we don't live in Canada and I needed everything to be done online. I ordered 1x Signature - $100 / Low & Lush (with Vase) / Bright & Colourful for $100.00 each Subtotal : $100.00 CAD + GST : $5.75 CAD + PST : $8.05 CAD + Delivery : $15.00 CAD = Total : $128.80 CAD. A day after the promised delivery date, I emailed to ask if the flowers were delivered because my mom had not heard anything from her friend and the flowers were a surprise so she didn't want to call her to ask her. The store replied and apologized that they had not followed up on all the email delivery confirmations because of the busy holiday season. Normally, this wouldn't bother me as much, but because it was the reason why I ordered from them, it didn't give me the best experience. I used to live in Van, but now that I'm far away I realize I never found a good florist! So I had to find a florist via the internet to send my best friend flowers on her birthday (December birthday) The reviews were justified - Celsia did an outstanding job. She loved her flowers and I do too! I really wanted flowers that would wow and not just the same old generic flowers on every florist website (see: yellow flowers in a smiley face mug, multicolored daisy bouquet, you know what I'm talking about). This arrangement was truly special and I'm so pleased with the result. Will definitely be using them again for future Vancouver floral deliveries! What a shame. A once delightful florist has turned into an arrogant, rude and off putting place. I ordered many things here before and the bouquets became steadily worse over the years. Bouquets got smaller and the quality of the flowers and floral designs worsened each time. I hadn't been back since they messed up so badly that I had to request a full refund. I thought I'd give them another chance and so with a budget of $300 I swung by to speak with them. I thought maybe if I showed them pictures of things they made in the last instead of describing over email or phone, the I would get what I wanted. Well, as I was searching my phone for pictures of past bouquets, they came out to tell me that were really busy & did not want to be disturbed. I apologized and told them I'd go elsewhere. They told me they could squeeze me in, giving the impression that taking my business was doing ME a favour. Anyway, once I found the pictures, some of which they themselves made me in the past, I was told "sorry that's not out style. We don't do those. Our style is much more open & modern" they then showed me a cheap looking bouquet with bright bright colors and stuffed full of greenery and lacking in actual flowers. The complete opposite of the elegant styles they sometimes produced for me before. Well that's it. These guys are presumably so busy these days, that they really don't care about customer service anymore. Unless you're dropping a ton of cash on a big wedding or other event, then you're treated like an inconvenience. I'll take my business elsewhere as clearly, my several hundred dollars worth of bouquets once or twice a year is not big enough business for they to care about. read more

I've used Celsia florists a few times now and couldn't be happier with their service or their product. The first time I used them was to surprise my wife on our anniversary. I had several large arrangements delivered to a suite I'd booked for a romantic night. The arrangements were delivered and setup through out the suite before we got there. I was so happy with their service I had a couple arrangements delivered to the office for our Christmas party as "Thank You" gifts for the ladies that organized it. The arrangements were fantastic. This Valentines day I was on duty and working night shifts. I knew I wouldn't be around much so I had Celsia deliver an arrangement to our house. The arrangement was just delivered to the house and is beautiful. When it comes to flowers I really have no clue and every time I've had Celsia deliver flowers I haven't had any idea what to get. I just ask for an arrangement, tell them the occasion and sometimes pick a colour. I know a beautiful arrangement will then be delivered. So this story starts with a heartbreak... I made sure to call Celsia when they opened yesterday, so my wife would get flowers for Valentine's Day. I ordered the romantic Celsia Signature Dozen (check out the beautiful arrangement on their website), and the owner Joanna apologized over the phone for Corporate Couriers' surcharge for the day, and threw in a special vase for free. I felt good, as you do when you send flowers to your true love, and during a nice dinner at Yanaki Sushi that evening, I asked her if she liked the flowers. Blank stare - "Flowers?" (Cue sound effect of phonograph needle dragged across a record). Now you know it's not your fault, but you feel like a chump anyway, a total deadbeat (and one who is out of pocket a fair chunk of change, I might add). This morning, I phone in, speak to the worker there who tells me the courier dropped the flowers in the street in front of my wife's office, and that they sent a replacement out at 2PM. Somehow the courier couldn't make the delivery before the courier desk closed, and they were left with security. Anyway, the florist apologizes, and says she'll leave a message for the owner to phone me back. Not only does Joanna phone me promptly from her cell to apologize profusely, she also phones my wife and apologizes to her as well, and without hesitation, she refunds me the inflated courier charges. Valentine's Day flowers delivered the next day become just plain flowers, but it does go a long way to know that someone cares that you were disappointed. It's obvious that Joanna and her staff are passionate about what they do, and they understand that they are part of a special emotional experience and they care deeply about making that happen. Joanna told me she will make it up to me with my next order, and you know, I believe her, because it's when things go wrong that you can really tell how dedicated a business is to providing top notch customer service. I ordered a bouquet to be sent as a thank you to a colleague. I was alittle worried about the price ($70 including delivery to a Kits address) and not getting good value. I ended up spending the money and choosing Celsia because they have an understated style with their arrangements that look so much nicer than the typical grocery or discount floral arrangements that you see at other places. The bouquet ended up knocking it out of the park in its elegance, and I saw that they wrote a note (as instructed in the order) with beautiful style. otally disappointed, would not recommend them to anyone. I walked in because I was in the neighborhood and order a $100 arrangement for my girlfriends birthday as a surprise. Only I was the one that got the surprise when I saw the flowers at dinner the lavender roses had brown damaged petals, the white snap dragons had damaged tips that were partially broken off. When we unwrapped the flowers to put them in a vase we found the carnations were both broken and bent. I only went in because of the great reviews, but it was sadly waste of money read more
