This local flower shop is nice, and most people seem really happy with the flowers. The service is fine, the owner is lovely, and I have tried to embrace the aesthetic of beige flowers. However, every bouquet I have received from here over the years is beige, pale peach and washed out, bland colours. Is this the only palette they have in their repertoire? I also find the bouquets are quite short lived and ephemeral. Enjoy it for the 24 to 32 hours the blooms are in their prime. Is this a philosophical choice? If so, can it cost less? read more

I don't know what it is about the availability of good florists that provide good online ordering experiences. It seems there's a huge lack of them in general and particularly for Canadian deliveries. Unless you go with the bland arrangements from the big 1800/FTD type of sites you're really out of luck. I'm glad I found Blossom & Vine who make online ordering easy but additionally have always delivered beautiful arrangements. read more

Really cute shop, really cute flowers, fun other products like cosmetics and greeting cards there, very nice staff. I got this pre-made bouquet in the pic for 50 bucks. This means you pick the size of bouquet and colour palette, let them know when you need it, and that's it - no fussing over the exact flowers allowed. And trust me, that's a good thing! The bouquet was hand tied in a perfect colour palette, filled with lush, beautifully in bloom roses, peonies, dahlias and more, in deep burgundy, blush pink, and white, with a dash of eucalyptus-looking greenery, in a sophisticated yet whimsical, asymmetric arrangement. The size was perfect (pro tip for petite brides to save money - you don't need to order the most expensive bouquet just because that's the one labelled "bridal" - you can get your bridesmaids corsages or something similar if you want your bouquet to stand out. Rude Service, overpriced flowers. Visited in early August 2021 to buy a bouquet of flowers for my anniversary with my partner. I picked this store out a several others on Main St. because of the outstanding google reviews claiming a stellar, highly personalized service. I came in, explained what I was looking for, and what the occasion was, only to be met with cold, condescending, lack-luster service from the sole store keeper. There was no customized service or any attempts to help me craft the perfect bouquet for this special occasion. I did not want to go home empty-handed, so I picked a ready-made bouquet from the front. While paying for the flowers, the store attendant asked where I was bringing my partner that evening for our anniversary. I replied the name of a restaurant on Main Street, and she responded in a highly condescending manner, "Oh, I've never heard of it before... I guess that's what makes it special right?" I found it to be incredibly offensive. Rude service aside, the flowers I bought did not appear fresh, and wilted within 24 hours. Needless to say, I've been shopping from numerous better florists up and down Main St. since. read more

My FAVOURITE Flower Shop in Vancouver! I love everything about the shop, from the decor to the flowers to the cute little local things they sell. They have a little section where you can make your own terrarium which is pretty unique. I usually come here at least a couple of times a month to pick up a bouquet for my home. There is a beautiful table full of single stems you can choose from and create your own bouquet which I love! Or they will put whatever you like together for you for any occasion. Looked all over yelp, google, and other searches for a good florist for my sister's birthday (I live in out of province). Blossom & Vine was ahead of any other florist in terms of their arrangements. I didn't even know such florists existed outside of movie sets. Their prices were so reasonable for the pictures that I saw, I thought there had to be catch. I thought maybe the service would be crappy, or the flowers won't be as nice as the photos, or the delivery was shotty...etc. I called them before placing my order, and felt so at ease. They reassured me if they couldn't deliver/faced difficulty they would call me to clarify right away. I didn't receive a call so I think it was smooth sailing? My sibling absolutely loved the bouquet and received SO many compliments from coworkers and strangers walking by her office! I didn't even expect this, but they hand wrote my message! I thought they would have typed it and printed it from a computer! I was also excited to hear that the flowers also lasted quite a long time (~1.5 weeks). Money such well spent, and so happy to support a local florist (truly an artist) in a craft they clearly have a passion for. read more
