You can also get some tropical floral that is quite hard to obtain from other locations post Covid. I've walked by this shop many times whenever I was in town visiting. I love supporting local small businesses as we all know how hard it is to run your own business, esp in the past few years. Finally had a chance to walk in to the shop while they were open! The owner Michael was very attentive - and he took me to the flower room where he keeps all the fresh flowers of different varieties. I love having a beautiful bouquet for my hotel room during my stay. He did an amazing job with putting together a gorgeous bouquet based on my preferences. As you can see from the picture, it's just amazing - simple and elegant! And my room smells so good now! He was so kind and patient (as I walked in late in the day near closing time), and the price here is very reasonable. I read the 88 other positive reviews, so I went ahead and called in an order for a sympathy bouquet of flowers. The gentleman was very nice and and answered all of my questions. Although I gave him the details of my request, he said the best way to place an order was through the online portal so he wouldn't misspell and names. I was a little hesitant, but the online portal was pretty simple. There was no problem that I was in California and their shop in Vancouver. I placed the online order at 10:30AM for a medium sized "Isle of White" and asked if it could be delivered same day, but next day would be fine. They would try. To my surprise, they were delivered to my family the same day and it looked just like the photo online! What service! Great place to order your flowers and reasonably priced. I've ordered flowers about 4 times now as I'm so happy with his arrangements. He does not do the generic Teleflora arrangements that I see some local florists doing. He adds his own touch. He is also punctual (even on major holidays such as Christmas) and oftentimes he has a "deal of the day" (flowers at a discounted price). I order arrangements for a dear friend of mine on the north shore. In the photos below you can see the deal of the day for a major birthday she had last year. She was absolutely thrilled! I was pleasantly surprised that it was such a gorgeous arrangement for the deal of the day. The flowers lasted a few weeks too! It helped that she took really good care of them - not surprising since they were really special to her! FBM is my favourite florist and I will be ordering from only him for any flowers that need to be sent in the Vancouver and lower mainland area. read more

I chose this shop due to their rating and believe me, they deserve it 100%. I rarely write positive feedback but Michael definitely deserves the recognition and appreciation. I ordered flowers to have it delivered to my girlfriends workplace on valentines as a surprise. I was getting worried because she's almost off from work but have yet to receive the flowers. I called Michael for follow up and fortunately the flowers arrived 15 mins before she's off. The flowers was really beautiful (as shown below) but I was a-bit disappointed that the ballon I ordered was missed. I called Michael the next day and informed him about the missing items. He was really apologetic and he agreed to credit the cost of ballon back to me. I accepted it and thought that was it. Few days later, I received an email from him (as shown below) indicating that he will credit both the cost of ballon and delivery charges. On top of that, he said he will do something special for my next order with him. I was already very satisfied with his offer and move on but what I didn't expect was that on Feb 20, he actually delivered free flowers to my girlfriend at her work place (as shown below). The flowers again are beautiful and I'm astonished. I don't think I ever had such a good service in my life. I've seen many comments about Michael being passionate about flowers. No doubt they are right. I will definitely go back again. This is definitely my to go place for flowers in the future.. read more

I recently had the pleasure of using the services of Michael, an extraordinary florist in Vancouver, and I must say, his professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction left me very impressed and happy. I'd like to review a different aspect of the experience though, as the quality and reliability of his services are objective and backed up by all the reviews, and so my voice wouldn't add much to that. I ordered flowers for my girlfriend's birthday in Vancouver (I don't live in Canada). For what I believe was a mistake not on Michael's part, the delivery was executed two weeks before her birthday, which was fun for her but a bit puzzling for me However, Michael's swift and proactive response to rectify the situation was nothing short of remarkable. Not only did he personally reach out to apologize for the inconvenience, but he also generously offered to send another beautiful bouquet free of charge on the correct date. His commitment to making things right was truly admirable and showed his commitment and dedication to his craft. I think making mistakes is human (and this one is rare, nobody left any review saying that so I must really have gotten unlucky). Coming on here to say "OMG mY flOweRs weRe deliVered on thE wroNg daTe zeRo sTars" is pointless and denotes a lack of understanding and intelligence. It's how you handle those unexpected events that really shows how you are. And he is dedicated and committed, as he did everything he could to make it right, so I'm very happy and I'd really advise you to get your flowers here :) She told me they are beautiful (both bouquets haha) read more

I needed to purchase a sympathy flower arrangement (spray) for a relative and while perusing reviews here, this place came up with good reviews so I gave them a shot. Very glad I did--i'm in the states so it's always a bit nerve-wracking to purchase outside of the country not knowing if the vendor is legitimate and will provide the quality and type of product you purchase if it isn't in person. I place an order about 2 days before the funeral service and on the day of, this place not only took a picture of the final product and emailed it to me, but wow they really went above and beyond the picture and description of the product that was on their website. Relative also confirmed that it made it to the funeral home on time. No fuss, good service and very glad it was a good experience. Seamless online purchase with follow through (confirmation via email w/ a picture!!) WOW. thank you so much!! I responded back saying how this bouquet would mean so much to her, since she will not be with her entire family. When I walked in, I met the owner Michael, explained what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. I found flowers by Michael through yelp , I don't live in Vancouver so I emailed them & asked them for two Orchid planters that could be sent to my sister for her new baby., I-asked them for two different colors and I sent them two notes in Farsi expecting the notes to be printed and placed on the planters, I was very pleasantly surprised to find out that they had gone out of their way to find a Farsi speaking individual to handwrite my notes in beautiful cursive. I was searching here for a local florist that has online ordering as well as delivery. Flowers by Michael came up on my list and I decided to look what they have to offer. I was specifically looking for peonies but I knew it would be hard since they are out of season. Well they had 3 arrangements with peonies in it so I decided to pick one. My arrangement arrived today and I was very happy with the quality and care that was taken to make this arrangement. Unfortunately I was not home to receive the order but Michael did call me and left a message letting me know they were left at my front door. He also sent me an email letting me know that the peonies he has are small since they are out of season. So he added some seasonal flowers to make up for it. Then recently I received a birthday bouquet at work (downtown) - creative and gorgeous and, it turned out, randomly ordered from my fave flower store! From general ideas given by phone, FBM created exactly the right bouquet, delivery was speedy, professional and friendly, and with good tips that meant my flowers really lasted.
