Making things worse, Walbert's customer service is bad. Everyone I dealt with was extremely rude, from the woman who answers the phone to the servicemen who came by. George doesn't keep notes on service appointments or keep track of notes from previous appointments. I had to remind them about a recommendation they made over the summer for part to potentially fix a freezing issue with the AC and no one but me seems to remember the discussion. The techs are friendly enough but they are incredibly unorganized and lack attention to detail.

I had Bethany Air put in a new SMART thermostat in end November 2024. They were here 2-3 hours…read moretrying to get it to connect. They left with the SMART thermostat functioning but disconnected from the WiFi. I was finally able to connect it a couple days later to the WiFi. A few months later (April) I called the thermostat manufacturer due to an issue with my 4 year old furnace and the thermostat. I asked why it kept running my emergency heat more than my regular heat and my house was cold. They ran through troubleshooting with me and figured out that the thermostat was not wired correctly. The thermostat manufacturer stated the incorrect wiring caused the issue with the emergency heat running frequently. They suggested calling a HVAC repair to address the cold house. I called Bethany Air. The technician (1) came. He told me that I needed a transformer after spending a good 50 minutes in my attic and then assessing the heat pump. I asked about a surge protector and he also thought this a good idea. Both items were ordered. Other information was provided that possibly we had a power surge that caused the transformer to stop working in the furnace. I was also told the furnace would not run. The technician was here a long time. A different technician (2) came to put in the two parts a few days later. He went in the attic and came down about 5 minutes later and asked if we had turned on the heat. I stated no, it doesn't work, and I had not messed with the thermostat. I did note it was on though as the previous technician gave no recommendation to turn it off. He stated that a couple other parts had "burnt" and we "were lucky that the house didn't burn down". We discussed briefly the findings. I informed him that we were told the furnace wouldn't work. The previous technician (1) did not give any instruction to turn off the thermostat, to turn the breaker off to the furnace or heat pump, nor did he take any precautions to avoid this further damage (burnt parts) from happening. I called Bethany Air when he left. The receptionist took the information than stated the manager/owner would call me back soon. No callback was received from the manager/owner. Instead the technician (2) who had left called me and tried to change his initial assessment and downplay his findings significantly. The parts came in and a different technician (3) came. He made the repairs. He told my husband that all charges for all 3 calls would be in his invoice. I paid the invoice. Since then I have received an invoice a couple times after I paid the "all charges" invoice. We have reached out to the company 3 different days, speaking with the same receptionist. We are told the owner/manager will call us back that day, and have never received any callback. Email response to the invoice also got no response. I cannot recommend this company in good faith. However based upon other reviews, you may have a better experience.

He charged me $350 for a regular thermostat not included on the 10,000 AC unit install. I received 4 proposals and all of them included a thermostat. Please don't waste your time. You may not have a problem today but you will once something happens to the unit and you're told the installation was poorly done. Also his brother called me and told me personally that he put a trash unit in my house. The AC was too small that it never met the set temperature for the entire summer and present. Should had listened to his brother. Look at the photos. Look at the rust on less than one year old unit. I'm out $6000 I'm devastated. He also sexually harassed me and asked me to be his girlfriend and wants me to have lunch with him when he gets back from out of town. This is clearly out of line and unprofessional.

I did a search on the internet and I came across Su'coy! Of course the internet search pulled up Len's and Michael's and Sons but then I see Su'coy HVAC!! I did some research and there was something oddly familiar about his voice when I called!! I knew it! He did a (HVAC) program and he called me when my son graduated from Wilson high school to see if he was interested in learning about the business! I'm so happy that I remembered that name and voice and made the connection! I immediately contacted him and without hesitation he sent an amazing and qualified technician to my home. Dale came in, assessed the situation and within an hour I had cool air pumping through my house again! EVEN BETTER, I didn't have to empty my bank account because the service price was amazingly reasonable!!!! Let me add that my home was built in 1925 and for some reason it holds heat and gets pretty warm pretty quickly! Let me just say that never again will I have to do a search for any HVAC companies as Su'coy will be taking care of my home as long as I'm in it!
