We met the owners! Super nice and have been in the area 50+ years! They support the local high school and college teams in their clean, sports themed place. Staff were friendly & helpful. Their credit card reader was down but they walked me through how to order online since I didn't carry cash with me. I had the egg rolls (they were okay), the tiger burger (it was delicious & taste home made), fries which I didn't order but they gave me anyway (they were crisp & tasted like hand cut potatoes), and teriyaki chicken wings that were double dipped (these were some of the best wings just wish they had a bit more sauce). Wish I could give this a higher rating but it's not a place I would visit again. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, but burgers were tasteless and there were bare bones topping (lettuce was sparse... tiny sliver of lettuce and terribly wilted). Fries were okay but cold. I can't get to the food for all the attitude. I've tried several times to get to go orders there. Always meet with an attitude. I tried today only because family wanted to try their burgers. They were meet with such an attitude they cancelled the order and went to Dominoes. And I'm sure I'll be meet with some excuse here, but it wasn't the first time. It will be the last. When the food is good it is very very good. But when it is bad it is not only bad, but don't expect the owner to make it right. I ordered the shrimp, chicken and veggie noodles. (One to eat there, one to take home). I specifically said when ordering I wanted "lots of veggies". (I wouldn't have minded paying extra). The menu states that the following veggies are in this dish: Cabbage, Onions, Squash, Broccoli, Zucchini and Carrots. When the food arrived, it was about 95% spaghetti noodles, some meat and almost NO veggies. When the waitress came to the table to ask how things were, I told her there were too many noodles and almost no vegetables. She said "well that is the amount they have us use", and she walked away.   I have attached pictures to show you what the dish looked like. I separated it out so you an see how few veggies were in this dish. Just a couple sprigs of broccoli and some onions and a trace of a piece of carrot. The sauce was thick and syrupy and only one container. If you want more, it is 25 cents more for enough sauce to cover the pile of spaghetti noodles (not Asian noodles) I still would have returned to eat here because in the past their burgers have been great and I like supporting family owned businesses. However, the way the owner (Angie) handled my comments to her upon paying and leaving, were very unprofessional and inappropriate. I feel I was very respectful in my words and body language.  But instead of listening to what I was saying, she went on and on about how she has been there at the restaurant since 8am, how she has been very busy. *I was the only customer in the restaurant for my entire visit (arrived 11:15am), and how she was just now cutting up the vegetables. I tried to explain to her that had they told me they didn't have vegetables to put on my dish they should have said so at the beginning when I ordered the dish, I could have then chosen another option. But she interrupted and went on to explain all over again how she was very busy, and how she was just now cutting up vegetables. Then in the middle of the conversation she made a comment I didn't hear clearly and just walked away! A more appropriate response from her would have been "We are so sorry we didn't meet your needs and we do apologize, we hope you will give us another chance in the future". I would have then still planned to return. Instead I spent over $27 on two lunches and feel that I got ripped off. Matters were made worse by a lack of accountability and bunches of excuses by the owner. I will never be back. I will also share my experience with friends and family. read more

Tried this food on a whim because of the great reviews. Had it delivered by a nice kid in a pretty timely manner. We got quite an assortment of food from wings, to chicken bites, to hibachi. Sadly, all of the food was pretty bland and not really worth the money. I've added pictures so you can make your own judgement. Out of the food, the wings were the best thing but had no flavor in any capacity. The steak noodles I'm fairly confident were angel hair pasta from a box with 6 pieces of steak and frozen vegetables. The rice/steak hibachi was instant rice with no flavor and less steak than the noodles. The chicken bites were wet chicken nuggets in hot sauce. I've seen some really great reviews on the burgers, so I would steer in that direction if I was to ever visit again though pretty unlikely. Good luck if you happen to order. read more

I have been a big fan of Ardens, until today. I ordered from DoorDash and I was really looking forward to my order. When the dasher arrived, she told me that she could tell the order wasn't correct but when she tried to tell them, they were rude to her and refused to check the order. I could also tell the order wasn't correct, too. I opened the bag to find my dog's order of rice dumped out its container. Inside the bag was food... but not my food. I called the store and the staff was rude to me... hung up on me even... after saying a new girl made a mistake. Like it was my fault. The bun I *did* get was hard... like it was warmed in the microwave too long. The food was cold, however. Horrible customer service. Lousy food. Miserable experience. read more

I ordered the chicken rice dish. The rice tasted like the grill hadn't been properly cleaned in a while and had a bit of chemical taste to it. No seasoning. The chicken (the few pieces I tried) was alright but again, no seasoning hardly. Very spotty on the veggies. The sauce given was suppose to be the shrimp sauce or white sauce. It looked more yellowish/tan?? And it tasted like mayo mixed with honey mustard...and something else. Not appetizing at all. It was also warm which made it even grosser. The customer service (both when ordering the food and picking up) was rough. We tried to use a gift card to pay for the meal but the employee ringing up the order said it wasn't accepted. Ordering the food was also a challenge...the employee didn't get the order right even after repeating it a few times. I ended up only eating a few bites because of the taste and not wanting to get sick. So disappointing. read more

Really great place! Just looks at the solid five stars in their Anderson location as well. All fresh never frozen food. Awesome burgers and housemase sauces so good. The best egg rolls I've ever had! Also homemade loved them as an appetizer. We will definitely be back here and love how it's so close to Walmart (our always have to go to place). I got the grandmas burger with mushrooms and teriyaki so delicious! I want to try the one with pineapple next time. They have burgers and ingredients not yet listed on the menu. The owners were the ones waiting on us and cooking the food and they named the restaurant after their grandson. It's worth a try just to support a local family business.
