We were a little pressed for time but thought this would be a fun unique place to grab lunch. It was fun and unique but there was no lunch. We arrived at 1:15 and they post that they close at 2:30 but they had run out of food. The server didn't seem too concerned about it though. She was friendly while telling me that they didn't want to bake anything since they were closing soon. I'll probably give it another try because it's just a quirky place. But not when I'm very hungry. Or I'll just bring my own food just in case.

I tried their matcha with honey and it was soo good, 10/10. Nice view and many spots to sit

Found this neat stop just off of the interstate on our way up I-17 to Sedona while looking for a bite to eat. Limited food options but found something we liked, that was healthy, locally grown greens. The building that houses the small cafe also has a museum & exhibits, along with some things for sale. There are great views of the property from w/in the building. Although it's not a hotel, as I understand it, there are a handful of overnight rooms you can rent. It might be worth a stay.

Wasn't able to try the cafe since they close at 2 but the gallery was open so it was nice to check it out. the place is run down bathrooms were pretty gross. Dead bugs all around and stained toilets quite gross. Not much to do here except just see the gallery which is really small. No one was friendly. We weren't greeted by any of the staff. This place is in the middle of nowhere so to speak. It was hot, so run down, and poorly maintained. It was "mehh" the building was cool to look at but that's it not really worth it

My favorite place ever, went on a college trip here for a week and had so much fun. Very refreshing to get away from the city and be somewhere so natural. Definitely want to visit again :)

Artistic displays abound in the cafe

Convenient farm to table style cafe in the heart of Arcosanti. The food selection was minimal, but the flavor and freshness of the dish we ordered made up for it. A great place to end or begin your arcology adventure.

The black bean burger here is hands down the best veggie burger i've had in the country! Good food, with a great view!

Sorry for the lack of photos on this one…read more We stopped here for lunch and a bathroom break driving through from phoenix to flagstaff. Samantha was so fun to talk to, very polite and welcoming! When we walked in, the space is open with plenty of tables inside and an outside patio. They have local artwork and pieces for sale on shelves and on the wall, which I have to add was super cute!! We ordered the Greek omelette with avocado, diced potato's, with a cup of fruit to split. Omelette was very largely portioned and the taste was delightful. Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. They have a large selection of hot sauces you can top your meal with. They have an icecream shop attached, we didn't get anything but I'm sure it would have been the perfect treat for the hot summer day. They give a veteran discount too!! We will return every time we are passing through. We recommend to try it at least once, it's worth the stop.

The sliders tasted okay, but definitely lacking some sauce and flavor. Once I added ketchup, it tasted a lot better. I think I have to give it another try, but I will try dining in next time and their other items. Their menu does look extensive, so I will definitely have to check them out when I get the chance.

Cheeseburger was cooked medium- perfectly and had fantastic flavor! Fries had just the right amount of salt! I ordered the club sandwich with a side of the tomato poblano soup. Sandwich was very filling with excellent flavor! The sandwich was a bit messy as it was too large for biting into. The soup was the right temperature and definitely flavorful. I enjoyed the added tortillas! Highly recommend!

Traveling back to Arizona, we knew we had to return, and once again, it exceeded every expectation. The filet mignon is simply out of this world--served sizzling in a cast iron skillet with clarified butter, it's incredibly flavorful, perfectly cooked, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. It's the kind of dish you think about long after the meal is over. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. The staff consistently go above and beyond, creating an experience that feels both elevated and welcoming. And Michael, the manager, is exceptional--so accommodating, attentive, and genuinely invested in making every guest feel taken care of. It's rare to find a restaurant that delivers this level of quality and consistency twice, let alone make you want to keep coming back. Without a doubt, one of the greatest dining experiences in the USA. We'll absolutely be back again.

The decor is "early Western farm" with saddles and saws and such. Our server Rose was top notch. She was quick without making you feel rushed, and was attentive even after our meal was in front of us (extra napkins? refill on the lemonade?) I had the BBQ which was delicious although the sauce was sweeter than I usually eat it. My companion had the ruben which was piled high with all the good stuff. I couldn't decide what to do about dessert (two kinds of cobbler??) so Rose to the rescue again and she gave us a half portion of each! I might even consider staying here the next time I am in the area- there are a few other options I am thinking I need to try...

You enter and immediately turn left and walk down the stairs to then be seated by the host/hostess. We opted for a table by the window, for a view of the dry creek. We ordered the: CROQUETTES Lightly fried potato dumplings filled with sour cream, cheddar cheese, green onions & bacon, served with a creamy jalapeño dip. 10.99 The croquettes were so crispy but soft on the inside and PACKED with flavor. Paired very well with the jalapeño dip or sour cream dip also offered. We'd give this dish alone 5 stars. THE COPPER Prime rib & Swiss cheese on a 6" hoagie roll, with a side of au jus. 16.99 This was our least favorite of our foods, as we thought the au jus, which is obviously the main source of flavor, was not very flavorful. We'd give this dish alone 3 stars. BACON CHEESEBURGER 15.99 with a runny egg add on +$2.00 Though not specifically included on the list of burger add-ons, I'm grateful my request for a runny egg was accommodated. The burger's meat was so juicy and flavorful along with everything else in it. Very reasonably priced since it came with a side of fries and was huge. We'd give this dish alone 5 stars. This restaurant is interesting, as there's a courtyard in the back near the creek seemingly for weddings? I'm not very familiar with the area, but given the hexagonal archway and covered tent with a banquet table, I can only assume. There's also ample bungalows lining the perimeter of the property. Overall very delicious food with a cute getaway opportunity, just outside of Phoenix. I'd most definitely come back to try more items or get my beloved burger.

I asked for coffee and she handed me a menu and she asked if I knew what I wanted to eat. I said I needed some time to look at the menu and she frowned and walked away without saying a word. It was obvious she thought I was going to be there a while and didn't want me sitting at the table long. She returned with the coffee and said "You know if it gets busy...." leaving the sentence hanging. I replied I would leave if it did (the restaurant only had maybe 3 tables full at that point, by the time I left at 640 there were two tables empty). After eating the food, which was quite good, I promptly packed up and left as soon as I could 25 minutes after being seated. I walked down to Brewed Awakenings, got a coffee there and sat down at my computer to do some work. In a small restaurant I totally understand that you need to keep tables moving so there is not a wait, but there is a polite and subtle way to message to a patron that they need to move along so other folks can sit down. You can deliver the check early, ask if you are finished, ask if there is anything else you need. Ways to communicate to a patron that they need the table. This was certainly not it. I eat out often, I tip very well, but I have to say this is the first time I felt unwelcome and rushed at a place in a very, very long time. While the food was good, this was not the way to start off day 2 of my roadtrip. In today's economy, making your customers feel like they need to eat and run, and doing so in a rude way, is a master class in how to make your restaurant fail. I do not recommend this place.
