I've been to this Arco many times. I don't know what their deal is but I never get the impression they appreciate my business. The cashiers never say hello, never make eye contact, barely say how much the transaction is, and don't say thank you. On top of that they charge for every debit transaction. Whereas at Chevron across the street the cashiers are always friendly and even say hello when I enter the store. I'm no longer going to this Arco. I've given them so many chances. It's a pain to come here and write a bad review for a dumb gas station. This place is so convenient for me, yet it's horrible. Whoever runs this store should be fired. read more

Despite the bad reviews, this Arco has definitely had a remodel. Big and roomy, this gas station has new stickers, pumps, and buttons. Most importantly it has that Arco price, the most important part! read more

If I could give zero stars I would , the management here is horrifying . The poor girls who work there are scrutinized and told to do illegal things such as avoiding hair nets while around food, they save and reserve food and put it out again even tho it's suppose to be thrown away after its sat under a heat lamp for hours. The health department seriously needs to do a surprise visit and the for looking manager needs to be fired. ARCO needs to get control of this place. I will no longer go here, idc how cheap the gas. This is the worst place of business. The car wash failed and management declined to produce receipt or return money. Instead they asked me to leave and when I very politely insisted to get a receipt the cashier called cops. All this because of $10 dispute?!?!? Unbelievable way to treat customers. Even when cops showed up they were surprised to hear her story and shrugged shoulders at the situation. I strongly recommend you to avoid this place... I do hate that I have to pay $.35 to get gas then if I go into the store to get a drink I have to pay it again. I do like there gas I do seem to get a little better gas mileage then with some other discount gas stations. read more

The car wash at the Arco station off Madison/Kalmia, just plain sucks! Every time I come through here there's hardly any soap on the car after paying a premium Car Wash and doesn't dry your car off I've made a complaint to the people in the store but obviously they don't care about customer/ and or personal service. I was charged $567 dollars because I didn't use credit at the first register. It was busy and I used credit at the third register because she had just opened it. I should have paid $22.70. This happened Saturday and I was supposed to be issued my refund Monday. I don't even know how you can make this kind of accident. If it was $522.70 I would have understand. I will not go to this gas station ever again. I will tell everyone I know, do not go here. read more

Filthy, disgusting, nasty, and gross. No garbage cans by pumps, window washing fluid is dirty, never has soap, and thats of theres even any fluid! not my first choice is if have ralph points, but usually cheapest around if you dont use a credit card! CAUTION- there are almost ALWAYS money beggers hanging around here too :( read more

Just wanted to warn people that go to the car wash at the Arco/AM/PM on Cal Oaks/Kalmia. My mother and I went to get our car washed on Saturday and it stopped working. The cashier inside said she can't issue a refund and to come back when her manager is there. We did and the "manager", Juanita was very rude and called my mother a liar, telling her next time we won't give you a refund because we don't know how to use their car wash correctly. She's lucky we weren't in slap-a-bitch mode. Very disrespectful and very bad customer service. We will never be there again as long as Juanita is manager. read more

Visited this station to buy a car wash and withdraw money; the manager assisted me at the cash register. I asked her if my pick-up truck was small enough to use their car wash; she mumbled something and said "just slide you card". I went to use the car wash, but the lights kept telling me to back up & pull forward...then all the lights shut off. I went inside to ask for a new code; the manager said "I'm giving you your money back because you don't know how to use a car wash". Funny, I've used car washes weekly for 30 years with no problems only to be enlightened by this AM/PM manager to the contrary. Maybe it would have been a little more professional of her to just say "maybe your truck was too large for our car wash"... or anything a little less offensive. Maybe I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but it only took me this one experience to figure out where to no longer spend my money. BTW - She only refunded me $7 when I paid $8. read more
