I rarely write reviews. I pretty much only write them if I am incredibly impressed or if the service or item has failed in a way they shouldn't have. At first I was pleased with their service and had no complaints. We had a rekey service done so that all our locks would match in our new home. Once the locksmith was done, he handed us our key copies and we paid the bill. A couple months later I try to come in through our back door and come to find out he didn't rekey the back door even though I saw him take the core out. I contacted ARCO and they told me that since it has been two months they will not send out a locksmith free of charge. It's not like I can cause a lock to suddenly no longer be keyed correctly. Only logical explanation is that the work I paid to be done wasn't done and they don't stand behind their service. If you use their service, learn from my experience and don't let the locksmith leave until everything is done to your satisfaction otherwise you'll be stuck with having to find another locksmith to come out to do ARCO's job for them. I recently purchased a home in Provo that has 3 doors. Each door uses a separate key. Plus, one of the door handles was installed improperly (you have to pull the handle up instead of down to open the door). There is also a little shed on the outside of the house that needs a padlock. Damen was the technician that was sent to my house. He was able to re-key all 3 doors in the house to 1 key! Plus, he was able to re-install the door handle so that the door now opens by pulling the handle down instead of up. Finally, he recommended several padlocks that I could get on Amazon for less than $15 for the shed outside. Not to mention, this was on Christmas Eve and he wished me a Merry Christmas.. Great help in a messy situation! Eric at Arco helped me with a really complicated situation involving an impounded car with a dead battery, missing keys and owners not in the state. He was responsive and courteous and went beyond what I expected, including coming to the impound three times-- once on a Saturday, to try and problem solve when things were going wrong. I chose Arco because they were courteous on the phone and responded quickly to my online quote request. I'm so glad I did. My experience with ARCO was wonderful. After calling several locksmiths in the area to replace and program a FOB for a Chevy Volt, ARCO had the best price and was easily the most pleasant to talk to. The first technician, Patrick, was a great guy and worked hard to get us squared away but the task at hand proved difficult. Adam showed up a couple days later and, after a couple solid hours racking his brain, was able to get us squared away. He called the Chevy dealer and got information that isn't easy to come by and even helped jump the car. And all of this over Christmas. Highly recommended! read more

I got a second key for my Mazda here for $100 (it required a smart key) and replaced the battery on my remote for $8. They asked if I wanted a dumb key just to unlock my car if I was locked out for $3, but since I wanted a extra key that could start the engine I needed the smart key. I had to go back a week later since the battery died on my remote. Since we weren't sure if the battery was faulty or my remote was faulty, they replaced the battery again for no charge. Eric arrived at the early end of the appointed time (they gave us a range). He had phoned 20 minutes earlier to let us know he was on the way. Once here, he quickly was able to unlock the car our daughter had locked herself out of this morning. Of course, it was the car with only one set of keys. We tried a "national" hotline when we looked up a locksmith in Provo since we were locked out of our house. 3 hours later, they did not come and whenever we called, they quoted a higher price. I found Arco online and called. I was given a 15 minute estimated time and he came in that time frame. He was able to get us in without drilling. It was also over 50% cheaper than the other company had quoted. PLEASE use these guys, they are great! read more

Adam was awesome!!! We had some confusion at first but he came to our house the next morning. When he got there, he found out there was something wrong with the car battery in my daughters car. I wasn't home. So he went and bought jumper cables and started her car before doing his part. He is super nice and easy to work with! He went above and beyond for us! ARCO was able to make an overnight appointment when we called at 4:45; Eric, the technician, was at our house by 8:30 AM the next day. The service was ok it was through my home warranty. He was on time and got right to work. I had a skybell replaced and when I needed to input my password the second time and it failed I think that was the time limit for the service. So he suggested to call Brinks or Alarm.com. The charge for the skybell and service was high $299. read more

They have the lowest rates that I can find, have always been courteous, prompt, have a great attention to details and do a good job.
