Food was not good. Felt like they just reheated some prepared dishes. What's worse was that they forced you to pay a 20% tip.

Last night we came in with 5 people in our group and not one of us was a bit disappointed! Everything tastes amazing! Presentation was 10/10 and staff is very friendly! We're back tonight with 6 for more!! read more

Best Thai food I have had in a long time. Very fresh. This place is popular so eat early to avoid the wait line. Service very friendly. Prices reasonable. read more

Very yummy curry! Everyone in my group of 4 got curry (red and green) and it was fabulous. Great after a long day of off-roading. The curry had a lot of depth and spice (I got a level 3... not for the faint of heart but so so good for those who love spice). The veggies were crunchy and fresh and I also got tofu, which was browned and crunchy. The prices were a little bit expensive, but as to be expected in Moab! The place looked full but we were sat almost immediately and food came out in 15-20 minutes. Overall, if you're looking for good Thai cuisine, this is the place. read more

I would have never thought that I would eat Thai food in the middle of the desert. This place was a pleasant surprise! The food was delicious and my boyfriend and I loved the drunken noodles! Would definitely go back. read more

My wife and I stopped in here before heading out to hike Arches and we were both impressed with the food! It wasn't just good, the food was incredible. I ordered the Jungle curry with a high spice level, and my whole face burned while I smiled and slurped my way through this brothy delight. Great great food. read more

This is amazing to find authentic Thai food cuisine in Moab UTAH, we loved the Spring Rolls which are called Fresh Garden Rolls with Shrimp. Then we ordered Pad Thai with chicken which was cooked perfectly along with the Spice Rack to spice it up to my husband's perfect taste He felt the Phó was too expensive (why only 4*) but overall an amazing meal here in Moab. read more

DELICIOUS it was PACKED tonight and for whatever reason there was only one waitress, but she kicked some ass and deserves some praise after that! We looked at all the restaurant recommendations and decided to come to Arches Thai. We walked right in and was seated right away. The staff wasn't overly friendly but we read the good reviews and decided to stay. We ordered the spring rolls and they were delicious (which is why I gave them 2 stars). After that he didn't come around very often and we had to ask other servers to bring us water. At the end of the meal he brought the electronic bill without telling me the 20% tip was already included (it was me, my wife and two kids). Even though I wasn't happy with the service, the food was tasty and I decided to leave him a good tip for the food. We ended up leaving him $30.00 for a $80.00 meal all because he didn't tell me the tip was already included. I felt cheated and trust me the food is not that good. Be ready for flies! read more

Best Thai we ever had. We tried curry noodles, fried rice, spring rolls and pad Thai. All yummy! Great service. They even gave us free dessert after delay in service. If you are ever in Moab, do try arches Thai. read more

We walked in just before a group of 20 which was lucky for us I suppose but it had the staff scrambling and the kitchen slammed. Food was fine. Would come back but would probably try one of the other local Thai restaurants first. read more

The waiter at this place was not polite at all and was giving us an evil eye the entire time.

I know what you're thinking: Thai food in the middle of Moab?? But believe me, it's great! Hit the spot after the hike. Had spring rolls and drunken noodles, both were delicious. read more

We were extremely satisfied with our experience. So much so that we returned the next day. Food was fantastic. I've had Dim Sum in Chinatowns in multiple countries and theirs was the best Shumai I've ever had. Egg rolls, spring rolls, satay, gyoza, Tom yum fried rice and nam sod were all delicious. Adjusted "heat" to our preference. Service was excellent! Remembered us on 2nd visit. Will definitely return when in the area. read more

This place is so good! We got pad Thai, pineapple curry, and Laarb gai. Everything was delicious and we will definitely be back next time we swing through moab for our adventures. Thank you Arches Thai! read more

Good but not great Phad tai. But my wife had the Curry verde and it was outstanding! Nice family run restaurant and everything was clean and the service was excellent. Will return next time we are in Moab! read more

I love this place! My husband and I ordered the calamari which was perfect! It wasn't greasy and the dipping sauce was light and flavorful. I ordered Panang Curry with chicken. It was very spicy and I loved the flavor. There was so much, i could only eat half. If you're in town and like Thai, this place is a must! read more

It's ironic that I saw a sign as I left that said "We don't serve fast food, we serve great food," because while I was eating, I thought to myself Arches Thai is becoming the McDonalds of Thai food in Moab. I ordered Pad Thai with medium spice. I should have canceled my order when the server came to the table with a plastic Solo condiment container with the "spicy sauce" for my Pad Thai in it. Never before have I gone to a Thai restaurant and had to mix my own spice into my entree. It's not like adding "bleeping" soy sauce into fried rice! Another thing, they provide plastic cups for water, and who knows what else. I shoveled my food down, because I couldn't wait to get the heck out of the restaurant. I was actually seething as I ate. GO ELSEWHERE if you want better food. There's another restaurant a few blocks away. I couldn't be more disappointed! read more

Amazing place. The setting looks more upscale than other local favorites, air is cooler and feels crispier, the best part is the food- beautifully presented and everything tastes great. So far my favorite restaurant in town. read more

I was in Moab with my husband for 3 days a part of our grand circle trip over my birthday week. I had planned to spend my birthday in Moab, so such it played out. After hiking 8 miles at the Arches, I was looking for comfort food - warm spicy but not greasy and my love for Thai food ended up bringing me here. There was a wait time of about 30 mins but we stuck around. The interior resonates with the Moab vibe, log cabin type decor and they have a cute fireplace as well. To honor my love for seafood we did a shrimp fiesta - shrimp summer rolls, shrimp green curry and shrimp Tom Yum fried rice. The rice paper wrapped summer rolls were a smaller than normal plate but had 2 sauces. I did not care much for the dark soy based sauce but the peanut sauce was so good that I licked the bowl off. Green curry was perfect, the consistency of the sauce gravy, the spice level, the fresh basil twig in it, the vegetables with the right level of crunch and the shrimp were respectable large sized shrimp. The proposition of vegetable and shrimp was also spot on. They even garnished it with a pretty orchid flower. The Tom yum fried rice - now I have eaten a looot of Thai food but never had I tried this out, not sure if I even ever saw this on a menu. Totally recommend this delight to the tastebuds. So so good, could take you to food coma. And, we went back here the next evening again to eat dinner at. And we got the table by the fireplace ... yay!!! Same delightful food, added a chicken soup to the mix and husband loved that! read more

Came here on a weekday close to 9pm and still had to wait for another 20 minutes for party of 4, shows how popular it is. The food is very authentic and tasty. Especially liked the tom yum noodle soup, with lots of seafood in there. The curry and pad see eew are great too. also really liked the mango sticky rice that they have as a dessert. read more

Arches Thai - Thai Near Me - Moab, Utah

Moab has a surprisingly large number of Asian food options. We were craving something Asian and this place really hit the spot. You know the place is pretty authentic when you walk in and see the picture of the new king. The larb and Tom kha soup were fantastic. My pad kra pao had minced chicken - sometimes tricky to find - though I thought it was a bit too saucy, it was still quite yummy. Definitely worth checking out if you're out seeing the park and in the mood for some Asian spiciness in the desert! read more

Very tasty take out in Moab. Called in an order at 5 pm for pick up at 6 pm. Was ready and hot right at 6. We had the egg rolls, pad se eew, panang curry, ginger pork, prik khing and pad woon sen. The staff packed chopsticks, napkins, plastic forks and spoons, and included all the appropriate sauces. Perfect! read more

Great food, great service! Loved the portion size too. Each curry plate could easily feed 2. Try the Mango curry!

RUDE SERVICE!!! I requested no egg due to an allergy and the lady who picked up the phone told me she was going to charge me extra $2.95 to not put egg in the pad Thai. You would think having less ingredients would make the dish cost less but because she said it takes her kitchen staff and extra 5 minutes to clean the pan she must charge me. She added if I wanted to not pay the $2.95 up-charge she would have to have her kitchen staff put egg in there even though I already told her I have an egg allergy. She said she has to pay the kitchen staff and in the 5 minutes they would be cleaning the pan to make my meal they could be cooking other people's meals. I thought the last person I spoke to in this town felt inconvenienced to take my order this lady was worse. Arguing with me about how if the cooks don't put egg the pan gets too dirty and it's an inconvenient them so she must charge. She told me the cooks don't work for free and she pays them to work. As a culinary school graduate I'm not sure how not putting egg into something makes the pan more dirty. Sounds like she needs to hire some competent kitchen staff, hire a competent customer service rep to answer the phone and remove herself from talking to customers because she is ungrateful and disrespectful. Business must not be too good if you need to charge a $2.95 pan cleaning fee. I'm questioning whether they clean the pans they do use egg on. **UPDATE** Bangkok House Too made me a pad Thai and respected my allergy and even didn't charge me extra to not put something in my dish. read more

Ordered takeout and it was such a perfect treat after a day of traveling. The staff was nice. Definitely get the Thai tea.

We came here on a recommendation from our host. One of the best Thai food I've eaten. Big portions. We ordered two dishes and an appetizer and had plenty for leftovers. read more

DO NOT come to Arches Thai to pick up if you're short on time. I came here shortly after opening at 11 AM (i.e. first customers) and we ordered 2 dishes, which normally do not take that long at other 99.99% Thai restaurants. We were informed that the wait would be 20 minutes, which is longer than usual but we decided to wait anyway. 20 minutes passed then 30 minutes passed then shortly before the 40 minute mark, we finally got our food. A couple came after we had already ordered and because they were dining at the restaurant, the restaurant prioritized their food over ours. Their excuse on why our food took longer than their food was comical. So making curries take 10 minutes but stir-fried foods take almost 4x as long because they come from different parts of the kitchen? Unless the 'different part of the kitchen' is a 10-mile drive from the restaurant, it's just laughable. Try a better excuse next time and the wait wasn't worth the average, and overpriced, Thai food. read more
