With dogs home alone and unable to figure out how to fill my Audi Q7 tire with the provided air canister, I was totally freaked. My friend called a couple of tire shops for me and this was third one she talked to. They said sure they could help me, and were at my car in 10 minutes! The man inflated the tire, found a screw causing the problem and said I could follow him to the shop with the tire now inflated. He had me on the road 30 minutes later! I was more than happy to pay the fee charged - about $140 total, to be on my way and able to get home to my pups. Everyone at the shop was friendly, and it was a great small town vibe inside.

He towed us back to his place of business and took my husband & I back in his truck. We don't trust diesel repairs to just anyone but we let him work on our truck and gave us a loaner for our 90 minute drive back home. Our truck repair went great. The repair was reasonably priced. Truck is running better than before our break down. We will be dropping our truck off with him for any future repairs.

It was 3:30pm and the four places we stopped at (including the Chevy dealer in Rhinelander) did not have the staff to resolve the issue. Some of the repair shops are closed on the weekends. Service personal from the Chevy dealer offered a couple of good suggestions. We ended up at D and J Auto and Truck Repair in Rhinelander where we met the owners. It was almost closing time but the mechanics said they would look at it. Well, less thirty minutes later the problem was resolved with a new wheel bearing and we were on our way. Wonder folks. I had no problems with my car before I brought it in. I had to go to work, so I drove it home (~11 miles) and over the next two days I drove my car a total of two miles. On Friday, the engine light came on while driving the one mile to work. It was 430 and I called and spoke with a woman who was the rudest person I've ever had to deal with. She asked why I didn't bring it in sooner, I told her I had to work. She basically said it couldn't be their fault because they just did an oil change which wouldn't cause the check engine light to come on. She didn't check with anyone on what might cause that. She said you can come in but we close at five. I had to travel on Sunday and no one is open over the weekend. I asked if they could stay until I got there because I wasn't sure if I would make it before five. She said no. I Paid someone to plug in a diagnostic unit, to find out IT WAS THEIR FAULT. THEY DIDN'T TIGHTEN THE DIPSTICK!!! Will never go there again...the woman on the phone should be reprimanded. Not the way to handle customers.

Saturday morning when leaving the hotel to drive to the ski hill about 8:30AM, the temperature was negative 11. I had a check engine light and noticed other electrical lights on the dash and was getting no power from the engine. I drove to O'Reilly for them to check the problem and was lucky enough that Jeff from Muff-Ex happened to come into the store when O'Reilly staff and I were discussing a tow company. Jeff asked to see the codes and said he had an idea of what was wrong and how to fix it. So, with a plan, I left my key, we exchanged phone numbers, and my sister came back from the ski hill to give me a lift. I was able to ski, pray about the situation, and wait for my husband at home or me at the hill to receive a call about the fix. By 11:30 AM, my husband received a call letting us know the problem was solved and I could pick up my key and van at O'Reilly. Luckily, I did not need a tow company.
