However, my vehicle had a broken axel, dented ball joint, and some other issues. They charged 400 but they dented my car above the tire about an inch deep and about 7 inches long. They also dented my trunk somehow and scratched up the right side doors of my vehicle. I paid the 400. I have an exhaust issue with the vehicle as well, but my parents offered to pay the 145 to fix that. East Side Auto calls though to inform me that there is another exhaust issue that will cost 2k to fix. Obviously, I refused that. They only charged me 15 for the exhaust so I just paid it instead of my parents. If I knew from the start that it would cost over 2.5k to fix my vehicle I probably would have went somewhere else to see if they could fix it cheaper. Which is what I did anyway but I hate that I ever went to East Side Auto. I ended up going to JK Auto in Antigo where he actually brought me into the shop to see the issues, unlike East Side Auto where I barely understood what was going on. I got to stand under my car as he pointed stuff out. He also pointed out what someone else fixed up aka what East Side Auto did. East Side Auto also put a random decorative muffler piece on my car to make it LOOK like they did more, but they didn't even bolt it on. The JK Auto guy also is fixing my vehicle for only 500 bucks. Big difference from 2k to 500. He also gave me options unlike East Side Auto. He also didn't charge to inspect my car and do research which took him around an hour to do. Not only that but to make it more affordable he made a part himself so he didn't have to buy an entirely new part since only part was busted, not the entire thing. Also, he had to cut out the pipe that East Side Auto put in and rotate it because they messed it up. He also didn't charge extra for that. Side note: My Step-mom also took her car to East Side Auto to fix a noise and after $1k her car sounds worse than before with the same noise.

He towed us back to his place of business and took my husband & I back in his truck. We don't trust diesel repairs to just anyone but we let him work on our truck and gave us a loaner for our 90 minute drive back home. Our truck repair went great. The repair was reasonably priced. Truck is running better than before our break down. We will be dropping our truck off with him for any future repairs.

We had asked Justin if there were two when we arrived, and he said he didn't know. Later, we found out the paperwork listed the $200 pre-negotiated discount as being for the missing key fob. That was never explained during negotiations. We had assumed the $200 was simply part of the purchase negotiation we had requested.
