I recently rented a larger storage space for a move. Kazem, the office manager, helped me select the appropriate size and when I mentioned that it only had a 2 month price break, he extended it to 3 months, and as a new single mama, that was a huge help. The facility seems secure, the elevator was working, and there were always trolleys on hand to move the larger items. I felt safe going there by myself with my two kiddos, and every time I was there Kazem was busy going from place to place which made me feel like everything was even more secure. Be very aware if you choose to bring your business here. We had a horrible experience. They claim to have security, alarms and even force you to buy a special lock. Alarm went off , according to Brent, at 4:00 am ish but we weren't notified until 1:30pm...that's 9.5 hours. Made us call the Arcadia Police. Seems like an inside job or at the least very janky. Lost way more than the insurance covered. Horrible customer service. No remorse or kindness shown by the Manager Jennifer. Basically- yeah sucks to be you. They have signage that make you feel like they care and secure your property. I cannot recommend this facility and will tell anyone who will listen. read more

Our storage unit got broken into here last month and thieves stole thousands of dollars worth of collectibles, personal sentimental items, and computers. Some things to note for people who currently rent a space here or people who are about to pay for a unit here: - My personal lock was completely intact, unit door was slightly bent - Most of the units you can get a small ladder and look over the top and look inside everyone's units to see what they have. - No cameras at all inside the hallways of storage units. - The guy working at the time said he had no access to see the video footage and told me to come back when the manager is back. - Basically told too bad so sad and hope you had insurance. - We paid for their insurance plan but it covers around $2k max and you need to document with all receipts. - Went back next day and the manager said the guy told her he looked through footage and didnt see anything. (he basically lied to us). When we asked her to review the footage she claims she is also not tech savy enough to look at it. (second lie?) Says to come back in a few days when her supervisor comes by. Refused to tell us which day he would be in. We had to push to get his contact info so we could call him ourselves. - Manager says that the units have an alarm that tells them when the unit opens and closes. - Had to push aggressively to get their internal data log and it showed the unit alarm was triggered and opened way past closing hours but they did not alert me. There was an entry that the alarm was manually cleared. Do what you will with that info - Elevators access to the storage units are running 24/7 past closing time, so anyone jumping the fence can have free unmonitored access inside. - The outdoor footage they did get showed that a masked man and unmasked woman walking around. Footage was not shown to me and so far nothing has been updated. - No rent was waived or discounted. Basically sucks to be you vibe. read more

Had a good experience with the folks here. Helpful and accommodating. Only issue is the early closing times (6:15 M-F, 4:45 Sundays). On one hand this is good for security but on the other, it's such an early closing time that it's hard to get in and out in without rushing. read more

To me, most self-storage facilities are pretty homogenous. Tilt-up construction, freight elevator, roll-up door with a padlock, etc. What really matters to me is price, security, customer service, and easy access to my unit. Arcadia 210 Self Storage has raised my rates twice in less than one year. The first increase of $9/month was in November 2020. Now, in September 2021, just 10 months later, they have increased my monthly rate by another $13/month. I am now paying $22/per month more than I was last year for the same, small 5'x10' unit. $22/month, really?!? This increase just seems excessive to me. Especially given the difficult economic times many of us have been struggling through in the COVID-19 era. And what am I getting for the increase...? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! It's the same mediocre customer service they have always provided, which is basically just not listening, being defensive, and then pushing back on billing/insurance issues. Oh, it also means no desire to leave their office to help with a customer issue when needed. Another reviewer stated that he was trapped in the elevator and the manager did nothing...not even call the fire department for him! Whaaaaat???? Listen, I can't say if this is true or not, but, based on my experience with their customer service, it certainly would not surprise me if it is. Security seems about the same as anywhere else and so does access to my unit. Actually, if you are looking to access your unit at any time, this is not the place for you. Access hours are from 7 am - 6:15 pm Mon-Sat and from 7 am - 4:45 pm on Sun. Given the ever-increasing rates and poor customer service, I will be looking to store my items elsewhere. I was surprised at the unprofessional, rude, lady running the front office at Arcadia 210 Self Storage. She refused to help me contact a disabled man who had lost his key and needed funds to call a locksmith for his storage unit. Although I had been there to help this disabled man before she refused to call him over the PA system. His cell phone was off and there is bad reception. I asked for the corporate office number and she refused to give me the number and told me I would just have to wait. I had to contact Arcadia police dept via phone and she refused to talk to them. I spent over 40 minutes waiting for this poor guy to come out and give him the money he needed so he could call a locksmith. She is the worst of us, and she should not work in customer service because she is mean spirited, and unprofessional. I see that others have complaint about her and someone called her Satan. I hope corporate gives her a warning and counsels her on her horrible customer service skills. read more

So far so good!! This was my first storage unit experience and Eddie was great! He showed me an available unit, let me know about their current specials, and walked me through the contract. It was easy, just in and out! I loaded my stuff into the unit the next afternoon and it was easy. Perks: -free usage of their moving truck (I think it is 15' long?) for moving IN. You're responsible for gas though -they have these rolly cart things to stack your stuff on and move. Along with the carts, they have dollys. -elevators -clean facilities -will let me pay my rent online! I'll be here for a few months, so we'll see if this keeps up! I must say that I am very satisfied with my storage experience. I had endured a most horrendous nightmare and needed a storage ASAP. They had a special promotion which I gladly took advantage of. The entire complex is very clean. Freshly baked cookies, water cooler, and coffee is available at the front desk. The elderly man and young woman who assisted me were very nice. They also have a large truck which is available for your 8 hour use, once, with a reservation, during the first two weeks of your storage rental. Deposit is $100 cash, returned to you upon their receipt of the unharmed truck. Pretty good deal if you ask me. read more

The facility itself is fine but there is rarely someone in the office when you need them. I often have to come by multiple times on the weekend to try to pay my bill. I've asked them when they take lunch so I can try to plan my day around them. The guy told me he takes his lunch whenever he has the chance. This means they often aren't available mornings or afternoons during business hours. If they mailed a monthly invoice and I could mail a check back, it would be convenient. I've asked for this. They said it's not an option. They make it very, very inconvenient to be a customer here. read more

The place is great for storage but the customer service lack what I expect. My accountant payable person was in a medical leave. I tried to set up on line so I can make the payment on the 27th payment due on the 1st well I tried so many times it fail. I had to walk in the payment on the 10th to find out that they have been charging me for insurance fee that I have coverage. My insurance broker sent what they needed. Then I find out on the 11th I am late. I called and the person was not very nice on re phone or helpful. He did not listen to me he hear but did not listen. Then I speak to the person perry and he tried to help but it was not working . He asked me if I can come in and they will do it for me. I went there with in minutes I received help with setting up the payment in line with a late fee. I told him this is the problem I had and I was trying to set up auto pay and couldn't last month becaus I wanted to avoid the fee. He is the manager, I felt that he could have seen that the past three years we haven't been late. And would waive the fee, well he didn't then when I set up the auto bill I asked to see what the password to get in is. He asked me for the key. I told him I don't have it with me. I just want to know the password. then he had to ask for my id really I made a payment and then I set up the auto pay. He didn't have to give me the whole number just the three and that is all he did. He looked at my ID card. Really I am not sure what to think but I am going to get rid of this storage unit. Customer service and people who appreciate your business because you in some ways pay for their salary. Service is not up to my standards here. That is why they get the one star. Storage should be temporary so I will move the stuff into the trash. read more

It's been a few years ago but I had furniture in this place for 2 years. I paid for it monthly. Periodically I'd go over to retrieve an article or two and it would seem that something was out of place. I thought maybe I just didn't remember where I put something back....until I went to bring everything out of there. I found many of my boxes had been empitied and left in the floor. There were so many items missing that I cannot recall all of them. They even took my very nice, very clean refriderator and replaced it with a filthy mold-ridden monstrosity that I had never seen before. They even had the nerve to call me and ask me to take it out so they could rent the space again. I left it along with the empty boxes & I explained what happened & told them I wanted to see the "tapes". Of course nothing was ever found. I had some very old, extremely precious silver antiques that they missed, thank GOD for that! Long story short, I paid to have my things stolen from me and I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. If it worked well for others I am happy for each of them but it was lousy for our family. I tried to leave a review a while back on 210s site but it couldn't be published. I'm happy to find yelp so that I could finally tell my story. If you have items in there be sure to take pictures, have an itmized list of your things and above all get the insurance (if they still offer it) because the pictures may be all that you have left of the things you store. read more
