Arc insulation should be your one stop shop for all your insulating and home improvement needs. My attic was a mess. Inadequate insulation with poor air sealing and much needed improvement in attic air circulation I had mildew damage on my roof joist and underside of the plywood. I did not know where to turn to for help. With one phone call to Arc insulation within 24hr they sent out there project manager, Jay, to evaluate the work needed to correct my issues. Jay was professional, knowledgeable, and explained every step of the way that was needed to correct my problem. The crew that came to my home was efficient, and confident in the work that needed to be done. It was obvious from start to finish that Arc insulation takes a lot of pride and ownership in the work that they do. ARC removed all the old insulation, air sealing all needed areas. ARC remediated the mold, and conditioning the roof joist and underside of the plywood with a fungicide resistant paint. After correcting my attic ventilation needs, and insulating the attic I was thrilled with their attention to detail and their commitment to correct all the issues of my attic to the highest standard. The open communication between Jay and ARC insulation during and after the job about all my concerns was excellent. The attention to detail and there obvious pride in their work was impressive. Arc insulation should be a show case example of the way work and the respect of the home owner for all companies to follow. I would highly recommend them for all your insulation and home improvement projects. read more

Several last winters began to notice that the house was cooler, and in some rooms more, and in others less. I decided to find out what the problem was with the help of professionals. The Arc insulation staff arrived at the appointed time and inspected the house. Using a thermal imager, they identified the problem of thermal shrinkage. Informed that it is necessary to produce additional insulation. I was frightened because I did not understand how to lay the insulation without destroying the walls. Employees assured me that the disassembly will be done from outside the house and special problems as for such serious work will not bring. I said that I will think about it. Turning to other companies I was offered a complete replacement of the insulation saying so that the term of operation of the insulation has ended. Therefore, I returned to the proposal of Arc insulation. Have concluded the contract and have started to work. All my experiences were superfluous. Everything was done with minimal disassembly. I am very pleased that I got to this company. There were no more colds, but still it seems to me that it became warmer. In the winter we will see. Most importantly, they gave a solution that very much saved the family budget, did the work quickly, efficiently and left only cleanliness behind them. Thank you for solving my problem read more

My daughter worked with David to insulate her home. I've needed insulation in my home for quite some time. I reached out to David and although his schedule was full for the week he still found time to come out and take a look at my home within a few days. He did a thorough assessment of my home and attic. David shared all the pictures with me, showed me what needed to be done to correct issues and  answered all my questions. David sent me a detailed proposal the next morning and it was everything we discussed with no surprises or anything that was not needed to do my attic the right way. When I decided to move forward Jean was great to get my project scheduled for dates  that worked best for me. Juan came to do the pre test and was on time, friendly and professional. When it came time for my project to begin the crew was also on time, friendly and very professional. My project took 2 days as scheduled and I could tell a difference in my home immediately. My furnace doesn't run as much and I'm so much more comfortable especially in a room in the front of the home the workers were also able to get too! They left my house very clean and I honestly couldn't tell they were even there after they left!  A big thank you to the entire team at ARC Insulation on a job well done! read more

I would like to complement Arc insulation company of Romeoville, Illinois on this terrific job They did with the insulation of attic and crawl space and the sealing of all the ductwork. The men were so efficient and neat. They laid plastic everywhere, they took great care of my house while working, and they didn't waste any time in doing the best job. I would recommend Arc to anyone, in fact, I just recommended them to a neighbor of mine. I'll thank Jesse, Gustav and his crew of terrific young men. Also their price was exceptionally good for me. I had been quoted by a well-known insulation company that advertises on the radio and television constantly and their price was extremely high, so if you want a great job done with insulation and the optional ductwork sealing.(well worth it) call the Arc folks at 815-293-1250. I live in Carillon on Weber Road and I highlyrecommend ARC!! Sincerely, marge Kenealy read more

My home inspector said that I needed more insulation in my attic, so I got several quotes from different companies.  Arc Insulation, from the very start, was super impressive.  Their estimator was extremely knowledgeable, and was the only one to actually go all the way up into the attic to inspect it.  He took pictures of what he found, and explained what he recommended and why.  Their pricing was very competitive, and they also offered the instant utility rebates which made the price better than everyone else's.   The installation went perfectly, and they were all done in just one day.  The very next day, I noticed my air conditioner was not running nearly as much.  If I could give Arc 10 stars, I would.  They really are that good! read more

I originally hired a different company to do my attic insulation work, but they ended up going out of business before finishing the job. I called a few different companies to see if they would come and finish it, and only one agreed to take a look at it. Everyone at ARC Insulation is so easy to work with. THey said they have been receiving alot of calls to fix this other company's work, so they understood my frustration. They came out the very next day to look at it, and said it would be no problem to finish putting in the attic vents and putting sprayfoam on the overhang area. A week later, they showed up on time, completed the project in a very neat manner, did everything they said, and now my project is done. THANK YOU! read more

1-15-21 We had been experiencing ice damming problems on the back of the house in recent years. ARC Insulation came out and diagnosed the problem as too much heat was escaping into the attic and improper insulation and venting in the attic. ARC came out and sealed all the openings from the 2nd floor to the attic, added venting chutes and additional insulation. Throughout the process they were clean and very thoughtful of our home. I found the entire ARC team to be courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. They all responded quickly to questions, they were timely, fast and cleaned up well after themselves. I could not be more pleased with the job they did. EXCELLENT! read more

We had Arc Insulation come out to look at our cold floors above our crawl space and basement, as well as around our bay window in the front room. The free estimate was great and the energy auditor was very detailed with his recommendations on how to solve our problems. He even used a thermal camera to show us where the cold was coming in. We felt his knowledge and expertise were head and shoulders above the other companies we had come in to quote. The work went great, and the crew was very professional and courteous. They did a top-notch job and our home now feels substantially warmer. I would definitely use them again if I had more insulation needs. read more

In the winter in our bedroom it was so cold. And this is not the first year. I needed to use an additional heater so that I could sleep without socks. Next winter I want to keep the bedroom warm. I called several companies one by one. The guy who came out was really good and much more knowledgeable than anyone else we met. He took the time to really explain what the problem is, how to fix it. All work was done on time. I really liked that after the work of these guys everything around was clean. They were very friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend them. Even now I feel the changes. I will update the review after the winter read more

I met Jay Brandt and ARC Insulation about 4 years ago. I have an 1870's built home that doesn't have any wall insulation. I was contemplating adding dense pack cellulose to the walls and also determining what to do in the attic. In 2015, Jay came by and did a blower door test gave me a price quote to do several options that I could choose from. Earlier this week, Jay's installation team installed dense pack cellulose in the wall cavities. The installation crew was very courteous and thorough and as clean as they can be with cellulose. I plan on using ARC when I'm ready to tackle the attic space. read more

I almost feel like I'm wasting my time here because so many others have had the same sentiments as mine. We started with Kevin who toured the house and did the estimate for correcting the insulation in our attic. When he left we both knew we had picked the right company. Next to come was the fellow who put a plastic seal over the front door opening that included a large fan to study circulation. And finally there was the two installers, Mike and Mark. They were terrific. Showed us everything they did, were super-careful of our home, clearly gave us their full effort, and were easy to talk to. read more

ARC was amazing from the first interaction to the last! Steve took the time to come out to our house, perform a detailed assessment of our insulation needs, explain the current state, and recommend next steps. He was patient and responsive throughout the entire process. When the crews came out -- first Gustavo, Marco, and Ramiro who did the attic work and then Enrique and Leonardo who did the foam work -- we continued to be impressed! The entire team was professional, on-time, and clearly knowledgeable. Would highly recommend ARC Insulation for any type of insulation work. read more

I highly recommend ARC insulation. Highly professional and extremely neat. My salesman Kevin was the best. Extremely polite and he went through my home with a fine tooth comb explaining what was needed and he put it all in writing. I would recommend Kevin to anyone looking for insulation. He really knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable. His crew was very professional and extremely neat. I found that some companies don't give a written quote. This company stands by what they say. If you need insulation please give Kevin a call. I promise you that you won't be sorry. read more

A neighbor used ARC and recommended them to me. I was very impressed with the salesman. I called about the uneven temperature in the room above the garage. He used an infrared camera on my home to show me all the areas that needed attention to address that issue and others throughout my home. He informed me about utility rebates that I did not know existed that saved me money! Crews were professional and I noticed an immediate difference in the room above the garage. Temperature was even and the room was less drafty and more comfortable. I would highly recommend. read more

ARC Insulation did a fantastic job insulating our 1950's Cape Cod style house. The upstairs used to get so hot that we couldn't even sleep up there, even when we had the AC unit on all the time. Now, it's perfect! Their estimator was on time, very thorough in his inspection, and spent all the time we needed to explain everything. Their installers were polite, neat, and did an outstanding job of cleaning up. We are so happy that the upstairs bedrooms are finally cool enough to sleep in again! I highly recommend ARC to anyone who has a hot upstairs. read more

I needed my roof and crawl space foam insulated. I had 6 different companies come to my house and give me estimates and talk with me. Ryan, the owner of ARC insulation, gave me the most detailed estimate giving me options and at what I felt was a fare price. I also felt like he did not try to oversell me. He spent time helping me to understand what I needed and the reasoning behind it. They got the job done quicker than expected with no issues. I was 100% pleased and they left the house like they weren't even there. read more

Arc Insulation added insulation above the ceiling on the third floor in our 1906 house. I was worried because we have a lath and plaster ceiling so they needed to cut holes and do a lot of work. I was also skeptical that it would make much of a difference. Well, I'm happy to say, they were able to cut a few holes, put in the insulation, and patch them up. I just spend the week up there with covid isolating from my family and although it was 30 degrees outside, it was nice and toasty up there. Thanks Arc! read more

I had minimal insulation in the attic. The walls and ceiling became wet when it was cold. These guys went out and took care of everything. They were fast and professional. We recently did a renovation in the house and were very afraid that Arc Insulation did not mess anything up. But everything was under control. And they kept the house very clean. All the problems with humidity in the house have been resolved. I certainly recommend this company. Arc Insulation did a fantastic job. read more
