I am very happy with the spray foam insulation provided by ARC Insulation! The ARC team was Professional, Respectful - and always Helpful. The Job I contacted ARC regarding insulating my basement exterior walls between the ceiling joists, (boxsills). I provided Ryan a basement floorplan with measurements, (ARC is able to provide estimates via Google). Ryan recommended the best materials to use and provided me a quote that listed the materials, who-did-what and the costs. Ryan also described how the job was costed. I chose to prepare the areas myself. Reference: Single story brick ranch with full basement. My Preparation All items/furniture were moved away from the wall 4-ft to 5-ft so that the ARC team would be able to maneuver a ladder around the perimeter of the basement. I removed the existing insulation (fiberglass 'bats'), vacuumed the areas and dry-wiped the sills /horizontal-surfaces - vacuuming didn't remove all the grit. I covered my items/furniture with plastic drop cloths. The Process The ARC team arrived a few minutes before the appointment, (Juan & Victor). We 'walked' the basement perimeter to view any potential challenges with the job - the guys answered ALL my questions. We found the best place to locate the ARC truck and route the spray hose, (150-ft). The team used painters' tape to protect selected areas and applied plastic sheet to the walls. ARC applied the insulation, trimmed the expanded foam where need, took-down and removed all the plastic and cleaned the work area. I wore a mask and glasses and viewed the process start-to-finish so that I could be available for any issues - Everything went smoothly!! We are very happy with the results - Thank You to the ARC Team.

Fast patch

The more I look at some of these reviews, including the pictures, the more upset I get. My work was done very quickly with no updates along the way and with no review of the final products. After spending over $13k+, I would have expected better service and support. Trust me with this experience and look elsewhere.

Highly recommend ARC! They did a great job! Got all my rebates and tax credit!

Plastic and old insulation

Because they were recommended for energy rebate, I went with them. However, I took off work for the scheduled visit and they never showed. When I called, they claimed they didn't have me scheduled, even though I paid a deposit with the date scheduled in the contract. Then they rescheduled and I took pictures of supposedly R49 work. This is not only not R49, there are huge gaps of missing insulations and old insulation is still sitting there, plus plastic in place of insulation! I'm out of nearly $4K! They also did not do blower test after installation. They were rushing and couldn't get the fan attached to the door, and did not properly seal around the frame. I got ripped off and I do not recommend! This company lacks integrity.

For years I had to spend most of my winters on the second floor of my house because the first floor was so cold it was unbearable. My home was built before 1970 and so it had no insulation in the walls. I had called three companies before ARC and had given up on the idea. Last year I gave it one last shot and called ARC and they gave me a very reasonable price, their sales person was punctual, courteous, and to the point. The experience was great! I write now because I wanted to see what the difference would be and with all this snow and extreme bitter cold, it is night and day!!! It was unheard of being able to sit downstairs in the living-room without long socks and boots with a space heater at my feet. I now get to drink my coffee like a normal person. Thank you so much ARC!!!

Tom came out to my house for an estimate on my already rehabbed/finished property that was insulated very poorly.

We called Assured Energy Solutions and they came out within two days to offer a quote to touch up our insulation. Not only were they thorough, their estimate was fair and reasonable and they gave us ideas where we could save even more by capping our can lights and insulating our hatches. The crew that arrived to complete the role were friendly, efficient and so proud of the work they were doing. The finished product looks amazing and you could tell they were proud of their work as well. Go with a local company and you will be so happy!!!

In October my painter decided to remove some of the drywall in the kitchen & replace it to provide a better painting surface. The area included the south exterior wall. On 10/16/21 when he removed the drywall he discovered the missing insulation. He called me immediately. I came home, took pics, and sent to Assured's sales rep on 10/16/21. The sales rep came to my house on 10/29 to review. I had intended to have the rest of the downstairs painted with the exception of the bathroom, but with the discovery of the missing insulation in the kitchen I did not trust that any of my exterior walls were insulated wherever injection foam was used. Unfortunately I couldn't even consider addressing the upstairs rooms at that point due to cost. I felt my only option was to have the drywall of all the downstairs walls removed. If they were in the same condition as the kitchen south wall as I expected, I would have to install rolled insulation. The sales rep suggested that the company would make it right. I asked him if they would remove the drywall, install rolled insulation, & redrywall. He said no, the company wouldn't do that. In that case I said I had to move ahead with finding someone to take care of it the right way & I expected to be compensated. After seeing the kitchen wall I would not go through the injection foam process again. It was a freak accident that I even found out that my walls were only partially insulated. If my painter hadn't decided to remove that kitchen drywall I still wouldn't know. To this day I have not received a definitive explanation from the company as to how or why it happened. Since my kitchen cabinets & flooring were installed 10/19-22/21 I could not address the lack of insulation on the east exterior kitchen wall. As far as the rest of the downstairs, my painter started demolition on 11/7/21. As expected the walls were in the same condition as the kitchen wall, pics attached here. He worked a total of 11 days, 8 of which were drywall removal, installing rolled insulation, redrywall/tape/mud/sanding/prep for painting at a total cost of $4700 not including all materials. With all that work completed, I still have part of my downstairs that I think it's safe to say is not insulated correctly--the east wall of the kitchen and the bathroom, approximately 20% of the downstairs exterior. As for the upstairs, I don't know for certain the condition of the walls that had injection foam although I think a reasonable assumption would be that they are in the same condition since installation was done on the same day. The upstairs had already been repaired after Assured's install date, including partial drywall/tape/mud/skim coated, and painted at considerable expense. I cannot afford to tear those walls apart now. I texted an update to Assured's sales rep on 11/15 & e-mailed all the pics on 11/16, three of which are attached here. I received a text asking if I would be available the next week for him & their operations manager to come out. I replied yes. The next week came & went. There was no call from Assured to reschedule. On 12/2 I received an email from their scheduler stating that one of their installers might be able to come out that afternoon & possibly install. Install what? I already had the work done. On 1/17/22 I called the sales rep again. He asked me to resend the pics which I did. On 1/20/22, three months after the problem was originally discovered, Assured's operations manager & I had a call. I said that I expected for the entire $5000 to be refunded. He offered me $2000 stating that I did not give them the opportunity to come & fix it & that they had done a lot of work. How could I possibly have agreed to injection foam again? I never received an alternative non-injection foam option to correct it from the company between 10/16/21-11/7/21. I had to rectify the situation myself. I am still left with 20% of the downstairs as well as the injection foam portion of the upstairs that is not properly insulated. Whatever the reason that the material failed, it did fail. I think it's only fair to be compensated for the full amount that I paid. That has not happened.
