I highly recommend the company for your next solutions or bathroom vents, insulation and roof vents. I was first turned off by the gruff attitude I received over the phone, and numerous times to call to get any return call. After they Re worked our attic I am glad I did not give up. I could not be happier. I worried about my new roof being cut open to add 8 vents to my ranch home. The guy on the phone did the math with me and explained the codes and how he calculated the number of vents. This team even visited my home spent a lot of time taking pictures measuring, and looking for missing baffels in my attic soffit vents. It turned out we were missing almost everything to do it right. This proposal Engineer spent 45 minutes evaluating everything. Vaulted ceilings in 3 areas of my ranch home. Truly are experts, not just a name, its actually real honest and scientific expert type person. My heating bill in the first 3 months went from 230 per month to 89.00 a month, and the two rooms in front which needed heaters for the grandkids now stays at 68 min to 73 all the time. 8 vents 2 bathroom fans and re designed with proper size hoses 6 inches of blown in installation that from the side looks like my crew cut hair cut. How they got that to be perfect is awesome in itself. 9 vent baffles were installed, sealed all lights and any holes they found My roof vent from Storm Guard roof company had 2 areas where the roof vent went sideways and was never glued down. They repaired it too. Not one detail or little detail was missed. You can trust these people to do it Right. They did it all in 4 hours 15 minutes. I may go for the automatic Attic Fan in 2022 now, I just saved the money for that install in 4 months ROI is easy to justify. Thanks Guys, I was not a happy easy to get a long with guy at first too. both parents had passed away the week before, and I was knee deep in bills and paperwork. You recommend now, I will buy it. Trust is hard for me to give. Your team has earned it. Sandwich IL read more

I contacted the attic experts and set up an estimate for June 30, 2026, and they gave me the timeframe between 10 AM and noon as their earliest available appointment. As it turns out, they were a total no-show, without even a call to try to reschedule or to apologize for not showing up. This tells me all I need to know about this company. read more

This place is amazing!!! I have been in the home improvement business for 40 years and never dealt with a company like this! Appointment set for 8 Am arrived at 8:05..Clean drop cloths, very professional crew of three. and a dustpan and brush just to make sure no crumbs left behind. The owner was on the job and told me all his crews are told " when you enter a home it is my house and treat it according) Oh ya almost forgot they were 25% less than a competitor read more

Met with rep to get quote for insulation as one of our rooms was much cooler than the others. They came out an hour early, took a look at everything, and let us know that not only do we have a very good insulation currently in place, that the issue is HVAC related. Very honest, timely, and helpful as I will be working with them in the future for an attic fan. Thank you Attic Experts! read more

I had a cold spot in just one wall of my home. Ted came over, looked in the attic and told me all I needed to do was get some R19 insulation and lay it down between the joists. I did so and we will find out how it goes. Said he wanted to see me save some money. Big shout out to Ted. Thanks alot Ted. Much appreciated. read more

I had several different attic insulation companies come out to assess the moisture we knew we had in our attic and could see on our bedroom ceiling. The Attic Experts lived up to their name they were thorough and gave us a comprehensive analysis of our issues and how to address them. Turns out we had soffits that were never opened up and so they opened up the soffits, replaced the burned out motor in the attic fan, vented the bathroom fans out the roof and added additional fiberglass blown in insulation. They had over 5 guys out on the job site and were done before noon and cleaned up nicely too! I had been told by others to spray foam everywhere and or to hire a roofing consultant. These guys know their stuff and were very reasonable price wise too! read more

We were referred to The Attic Experts by the person who serviced our AC unit. The first time I called to schedule an apt, they were straightforward with pricing and setting an apt. The crew that arrived to replace the motor on our attic fan were professional and completed the job quickly and on time. When they did the work, it was a cold day so the crew said that they confirmed the motor and fan is working, but if the fan doesn't kick on when it gets hot, call them back because that would mean the thermostat needs to be replaced. We had an 85 degree day recently and my husband went into the attic to see if the fan had kicked on, and it had not. I called this morning to have The Attic Experts come back to look at the thermostat, and the owner was extremely rude. He was immediately defensive and told me his guys would have NEVER told me what they told me, and they were booked out until mid May. I'm not sure he understood what I was saying, nor did he take the time to. Not impressed with the attitude I was given - our AC servicer should think twice before referring this company if they are going to be rude to customers on the phone. read more

This company was excellent to work with from beginning to end. I had much needed ventilation added to my attic/roof. The estimate visit was extremely efficient and informative. I was offered plenty of insight into options for ventilation/insulation/heating/cooling/electric in excess of the company's service offerings. They truly treat the conversation about your home as if it is their own, suggesting only the truly needed changes at minimal cost, leaving the decisions up to you without pressure. Pricing is more than fair. I had many different attic and roofing companies view my home in the past year, and this was the only one that made me feel comfortable with the expertise and suggested work, no B.S., no overselling, very efficient. I saved thousands of dollars by choosing these guys. The work itself was efficient and all interactions were very professional and respectful of time. I will be a repeat customer if I get the chance. read more

I am thrilled with this company all around! They came to provide an estimate within several days. They were knowledgeable, showed us several issues and explained how it would have affected our home (they were right). We received their bit immediately and they were easy to communicate with, returning emails and calls promptly. The day they arrived to do the work they were on time, and they took every precaution to a vapid any damage or marks on our walls. The workers were extremely polite and gracious. They came in and executed a plan, each person knew what they were to do and the team was amazing to watch. The supervisor watched every aspect and inspected every point. The job was completed much faster than I expected. I went up in the attic myself to inspect and was impressed with the quality of Workman ship in my new pink wonderland. It was perfect. They carefully cleaned up, washed the attic crawl space doors, and made sure there was no trace of their being present. A joy to have as a contractor! read more

Cory was awesome from the start. Got a very reasonable initial estimate to add some insulation. However, there were water issues that turned out to be much worse than initially thought that delayed the start. Since it took a lot of time and sleuthing to finally get them resolved (roof, crawl space, chimneys, etc. involved), the whole project got put off for many months, yet he was prepared to honor the initial estimate. The project ended up being much larger in the end due to the extensiveness of the water damage and mold. I ended up needing more vents, an attic fan, and total removal & replacement of the old insulation, all of which other contractors told me were needed so I knew when Cory said so, he was being totally honest. He helped me make decisions with his truly expert and sensible recommendations, and his advice aligned with the other contractors without them comparing notes; he knows his stuff! His team was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Cory worked with me very cooperatively on timing in between the other work that was being done; he had to make 3 separate trips due to the complexity of the situation but they were prompt and friendly every time. I compared prices initially and again when the project grew, and The Attic Experts was right in line, but I don't think I could possibly have found a nicer or more honest man to work with than Cory. Great company. Highly recommended. read more

Attic Experts is a great company! They came and quoted us in November and were very upfront by saying that there were certain things that were a priority, but not all of the work needed to be done at once. We ended up getting our proper ventilation set up along with an attic fan and soffit vents installed. As we planned for the work to be done, Cory was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. Fast forward to today, (01/21/19) they just finished up a project on my house earlier this morning and I was thoroughly impressed with the service! The crew arrived on time, and the work was completed very quickly. Everyone was very courteous, professional, and willing to go above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. All of the work was done as expected. My wife and I are looking forward to seeing some of our utility bills drop a bit over the coming winter months. We will definitely be using The Attic Experts again in the future when we do our insulation and will refer them to anyone needing attic work complete! read more

The Attic Experts have done work for us on three occasions and their team has been great every single time. They are honest and their pricing is more than fair. These days it's rare to find a company who treats customers the way one would like to be treated--like a person and not a wallet. read more

We closed on a house with no bathroom venting, no soffit vents, and overall improper ventilation in the attic. People, there was mold in the attic. I knew the source of the mold was due to improper ventilation in the attic. After scouring Yelp for companies, I randomly decided to google, "bathroom ventilation Chicago" and found the Attic Experts website. What prompted me to call the company was their reference Joseph Lstiburek on the company's website. You see, my very knowledgeable home inspector, after seeing the lack of ventilation in my attic, kept referencing, Joseph Lstiburek, a nationally renowned expert in home ventilation. He said I should really read the science behind proper ventilation to educate myself on the core issue of my attic. I called Attic Experts and talked to the owner, Cory, who was friendly and took the time to listen to the attic issues. In the midst of our conversation, Cory also talked about Lstiburek, which signaled to me that Cory's knowledge was not only based on experience, but science as well. After getting a free estimate, I contracted Cory to install bathroom fans, soffit vents, and additional mushroom vents. Cory and his crew arrived at my house and they were professional from start to finish. They wore booties as to not mess up our floors, and they cleaned up thoroughly, sweeping our floors and stairs of any debris left from their work. They didn't leave until I was completely satisfied with their work as evidenced when I commented about the bathroom fan being slightly louder than I had expected. Cory immediately started to troubleshoot my concern, even having his crew go back up to the attic to recheck everything. They were able to make the fan quieter, and I appreciated their initiative in alleviating my concern. I think other companies would have given me the run around and said, "M'am, it's really not that loud, and it's probably because..." but Cory took the time to recheck everything, saying, "I want you to be happy with our work." People, call this company up if you ever had any concerns about ventilation in your attic. You think 1-2 mushroom vents on your 1900 square foot roof is enough? You think bathroom exhaust fans blowing into your attic is adequate? You think you have enough soffit vents for proper intake/outtake of air? Cory knows his stuff, and he will educate you on proper ventilation. Cory gave me peace of mind about my attic, and being a homeowner, it's something I can check off my list as a worry. read more

This company is awesome! While visiting for a quote a piece of old insulation fell from the attic access and Corey picked it up and stuck it in his pocket. When I told him he didn't need to do that he responded by saying, "that is how I insulate my own home." Then he told me that the motto of his company is to treat your home like theirs, and both he and his crew did that very well! Corey and his team were on time, worked efficiently, made no mess at all, and exceeded our expectations. Not only did Corey explain the reason they use fiberglass in lieu of cellulose (which was verified by a little bit of research) he took the time to explain how we can make changes below the ceiling line to help maintain comfort in both summer and winter. If you need attic insulation, we highly recommend you give Corey a call and get an estimate. You won't be disappointed. read more

As new homeowners we discovered the upstairs was cold during the winter months and hot during the summer. We researched attic companies in the Chicago suburbs and called to have our issue looked at. We called Attic Experts and happened to speak with the owner, Cory. He was courteous anad knowledgeable from the start so we decided to set an appointment with his company for an estimate. We were surprised to find out that the owner himself came out to provide the estimate. Cory arrived on time, looked in our attic and explained the issue to us. He suggested a resolution then provided us with a fair and honest quote. We chose Attic Experts to do the work. His team arrived on time. They were polite, wore booties in the house and did the job as previously agreed upon. When finished the crew made sure everything was cleaned up and left nothing behind. We were happy with the service provided and are looking forward to feeling the difference during the summer and winter months, not to mention the cost difference in our utilities. We will definately recommend Attic Experts and the 25 year in the business to others as well. read more

I noticed spots on my ceiling coming from the attic during cold winter months. We had too much humidity in our attic with no proper ventilation per the owner, Cory. As I had just accepted an offer on my house, Cory was very prompt into looking at my house problem. His team was very prompt and professional while installing a humidity controlled fan in our attic. His team fixed the problem quickly for me which I needed. He was professional all the way and I so appreciate his business. I would highly recommend this business. read more

My experience started with a very informative tech who came out and gave me an estimate on blow in insulation for my attic and vent my bathroom exhaust fans that were never done properly..he answered all my questions at the time but I got a few other estimates anyways.other estimates were a waste of time either they were un knowledgeable overpriced or used less superior material and were trying to upsell me on things I did not need. I called attic experts back for a few more questions and concerns which they Answered with no problem and never pressured me Into using them.so I setup the install and it was a breeze they came in and didn't leave any mess everything was covered with tarps and swept up after they were done very neat..attic looked great and I am looking forward to seeing some savings this winter as I went from r-10 to r-60 ..I highly recommend them for any of your attic needs I don't remember the main techs name who gave me estimate but he was also on the Job doing the work and overseeing the other guys which is good to see read more

I had called Cory to have his company come and ck my attic fan which stopped working. He told me the day and they would be there at 9. They were 20 min early. Awesome. Came right in clean and professional. Went up to the attic. Said it was shot. Put a new stronger motor in. And then left. 15 min at the most. Awesome. Will have them install bathroom fan soon. Despite having a sufficient Central Air conditioning unit, I suffered drastic temperature differences between the first and second floors of my home. My monthly energy cost were insane and I struggled trying to sleep at night with the high temperatures in my room. I called Attic experts and spoke with the owner Cory. He was very patient and understanding to the issues and concerns I had expressed. He personally came out to my home to do an inspection on my attic. He was extremely knowledgeable and took his time explaining the science behind the issues I was experiencing and what I needed to do to correct the problem. I received an unbeatable price quote for installation of two very quiet bathroom fans, both of which needed to be exhausted to the outside through dampered roof caps by insulated duct and a much needed attic fan. I also had my old insulation removed and replaced with Owens Corning commercial grade insulation. Now not only am I saving money on my monthly energy bills but all these improvements makes me eligible for a $500 energy tax credit. Cory and his amazing team went above and beyond and provided timely, professional, quality and cleanly customer service. There was not even a speck of dust at works completion. They are undoubtedly the best and the work they do is impeccable. read more
