They have plenty of seating inside and a number of board games available but we just opted for dinner this time. It wasn't loud or dark inside so it was a nice place to have some good conversation with friends and not worry about hearing one another, haha. As for food, we ordered the giant Bavarian pretzel with added beer cheese dip to share and I went for the falafel sandwich with sweet potato tots ($3 upcharge) for my meal. The pretzel was delicious...I enjoyed both types of mustard as well as the cheese dipping sauce. I'd get that again for sure. The falafel sandwich was good but a bit dry - it was better once I asked for a side of hot sauce. The tots were really good but I didn't feel like it was a ton for the upcharge. My husband ordered the black & bleu burger with fries and enjoyed that as well. The service was great too - super friendly and attentive. All in all a tasty food choice in a good environment. Thank you, Great Oaks Tavern!

They were out of the chicken patties, so they offered to substitute chicken tenders instead, which I really appreciated. It was still really good! I think it could have used a little something to make it less dry, but I'm guessing the regular chicken patty probably would've helped with that. Their cold brew iced coffee was delicious, and my friend ordered the spicy sausage gravy. I had a bite, and the flavor was fantastic! The highlight of our visit was our waitress.
