Being out of town, I thought "pub" would mean more of an adult bar. It definitely was not that. Many children still in the establishment which made me happy as I had two children with me. My daughter ordered the kids Kraft Mac and cheese with the thin fries. She said it was delicious. My other daughter wanted pizza so we got a cheese pizza although we were not a fan of the breading. It was very hard and tasted like cardboard. I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was good! My husband got the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich. He really enjoyed the pickles were deep fried pickles! We also got an order of the fried green beans. They were delicious and were the standard green beans I always enjoy. The thin fries are similar to McDonald's type fries. The thicker cut fries are beer battered. Food came out quick and service was attentive. Lots of TVs with sports so it had a perfect sports bar atmosphere. read more

I was with a group of 6 and we had mixed reviews! The atmosphere of Spunkmeyers for the holidays is perfect, the decorations are everywhere and so fun. 10/10. The holiday drink list is long and I had two that were both delcious. I ate a chicken tender wrap with fries and it was yummy, unfortunately my friends didn't have such luck with a lack luster Ruben, cheese curds that was half burnt fries (weird?), and a smaller then expected burger. Place used to be much smaller and had more of an intimate feeling but like all things...times have changed. It was opened up and now has a much bigger feel and they definitely spent some money on the decor. The main problem for me is that it got all hilljacky in there. Country music playing non stop...feels like you in a Country and Western bar. Seems really out of place to me but maybe that's what they were going for. Usually my go to bar but the outdoor bartender was pretty mean the entire time I was there. I understand having bad nights, especially in the service industry, as it can be a tough job. I also understand that this bar has certain policies for how they run their business. If I am breaking one of these policies or doing something I should not be doing, I would be more than happy to follow those policies if I am told in a polite manner, not yelled at from across the bar in front of other customers. Outside of this, overall just had a bad attitude for the entire visit. Awesome service and food! Met a friend here on their recommendation as this was my first visit. Extensive draft list. Drank a tall Thirsty Dog Barktober and it was delicious! The food menu had many choices of items to eat. I started with the side salad; white French dressing. Lettuce, veggies and dressing were very fresh. I ordered the sliders and fries for my meal. Amazing! The meat was perfectly prepared and the fries were hot and crispy. Three sliders were on the plate; took one home because two filled me up. Julie was an excellent server. Friendly, helpful and attentive. Before I ordered my food, I was torn between two dishes. Julie was able to give me information on both choices. My friend enjoyed their burger and beer too. I ordered the chicken tenders with fries. not sure how you can mess that up but they were awful. I'm pretty sure the tenders came from Aldi and the fries were limp and ice cold. When the server/bartender asked how everything was, I said the fries were pretty bad to which she replied "yeah, they've been like that all day". Didn't offer to swap them out, nothing. I also had the privilege of watching her make a "strawberry margarita" which was frightening. If you want to watch the game and drink a few beers, this is your place. they have changed and are now cheaping out on their meat servings. I loved their steak special on mondays but now the steak is a sliver of meat and not what they served prior. Zero stars if I could. First time here. I'd seen their menu online and they had a signature sandwich that looked good. We went in, it was pretty busy, and there was a game on. They had their lunch menu and it didn't have their signature sandwich, which I found a little odd. I asked the server if they could see if they could make the sandwich. She came out about 10 minutes later and said the kitchen yelled at her for asking and they wouldn't make it. I was very polite and tipped 20%. First visit to this establishment as new resident in the area. I was told they have really good food. Walked in and sat down, watched 5 servers look at us and never acknowledged we were there. 15 minutes in and finally a server said someone will be shortly. The place did not appear to be busy at all but we did realize they have seating in the rear, which is where all of the servers seemed to be. (If you are going to have tables out front, perhaps you should put a server out there as well). There were three other tables seated where we sat. When we finally got service, (20 minutes after sitting down) we ordered a couple of drinks and an appetizer. About 10 minutes later we got our food, served by someone other than our server. It was hot and fresh at least. When our server came back and finally asked what we would like to order we said we were good with what we had. She promptly went and got our bill. We finished our drinks and appetizer and left cash on the table as we never saw another server. We went across the street an enjoyed a good meal with good service at Applebee's. This place is right down the street from my house and so I've been a pretty regular customer. They have a great patio and when the weather is nice, it's a fun place to sit and have a drink and a meal. The food and service are pretty average. Some servers are super friendly and all (of what I assume are) management are extremely friendly. The only thing that keeps me from going all of the time is the cost. For average food and drinks, it's a bit pricey. Last time I was there on a Monday when mules are on special and somehow got upcharged for top shelf. Most of the time I leave and don't feel like $50+ for 2 people was worth it. As far as food goes- my husband says their boneless wings are great. Their philly, shrimp tacos, potato skins, and (both) sliders are pretty good. The menu says it's a temporary menu and that new things are coming so I'll be interested to see when/what they add. read more

Listen, if you are looking for a serious drink then Spunks is where you need to go. The vast collection of beers, shots, mixed drinks and large menu is almost too much to take in. With the liquor of the month, fish bowls filled with vodka infused peppers, garlic and cyan for Bloody Mary's and something called "Trash Can" that sits on the edge of the bar, it all seems geared toward the 21-25 crowd and kind of comical. There is a special of the week and a shot and drink of the month. You will not go into this place and order a beer. You will be overwhelmed in the drink area. I asked the bartender, "what's a 'trash can'?" and she responded, "its everything left over from last year mixed together. It's almost like a Long Island." Then there was a giant glass iced tea jar on the bar with "stuff" floating around that the bartender poured two shots out of. "Excuse me, what is that?" And she responds "peach infused vodka." Remember when you were 21 and you told the bartender, "make me something cool!" or "I dunno, surprise me!" Well, this is place to get that shot or that mixed drink. That, I'm 21 and drink everything but beer, kinda drink. The menu is a lot to take in. It's so big that I found myself picking something familiar. What they had to offer was fun and new and seemed slightly unique to their vibe, but page after page left me overwhelmed. The collection of drinks and boards with specials, TV over the bar running information, specials and events just had me gawking. I went with the turkey burger. I even had trouble finding that on the menu. I had to ask. The patio is really cool. We saw some folks go to the back and went to check it out after we ate. We sat at the bar and no one suggested that the patio was an option or open that day. I would have rather sat on the patio because it had a summer, Margaritaville Vibe. The turkey burger was great. The fries were crunchy and no at all greasy. The portions were perfect. So, the plus is that the food is good. I'd say the environment is up to you and your mood. If your wife left you and you want to forget life, they have every shot to erase your thoughts. If you are into getting wasted out of your mind, go here, that is exactly the impression I get. This is a very popular local bar. During summer months - it is packed. Service can be slow. Their is a huge menu of food options. I love the ghost sidewinder fries and pizza rolls. Drinks are fairly expensive for the area - $4.50 for a glass of Yuengling??? I think the summer shandy I ordered was $6.50! All told our bill for two people for 2 apps and 2 drinks each was somewhere close to $50 - which included the tip. read more

All I have to say... loaded sidewinder fries... yum! I'm drooling just thinking about it!!! That and I had the grilled chicken club, perfectly cooked chicken breast, but remember it is exactly what it says, so no over the top frills or anything, just perfectly cooked bacon and chicken, and simply toasted wheat bread that actually held up through the entire sandwich! Great atmosphere. Came for late lunch with my daughter. Don't order the ice tea- it taste spoiled. Both of us got the philly cheese steak with loaded fries. The fries over done, cheese was crispy like they say in the window under lamp to long and little bacon. Service super slow- took 15 to get the check.
