I had the octopus, jumbo shrimp, butter-battered oysters, and fried tilapia--and let me tell you, every bite was better than the last! The octopus was tender and flavorful, the jumbo shrimp were cooked just right, and those butter-battered oysters were crispy, golden, and absolutely delicious! The fried tilapia was seasoned so perfectly, with that crispy outside and flavorful, tender fish inside. You could really taste the care that went into preparing every dish. If you love seafood that is well-seasoned, crispy, flavorful, and satisfying, this is definitely a place you should try! My plate was full of flavor from beginning to end, and I left completely satisfied. Shangi Restaurant definitely knows how to make seafood taste AMAZING!

When I called it in they let me know fish is made to order and it would take 20min. I grabbed snacks and drinks next door at Staters and then picked up my meal. Place inside is cute. Don't be deceived by the plaza! I am coming back ASAP. XL fish and rice was $16 and change Fish was too good and I don't have a pic.

The sandwich was one of the best I have tasted at Jersey Mike's or any other sub shop. The hot sub contained chopped salami, pepperoni, and ham, some pepper relish which I asked to be small in amount, and melted Provolone Cheese, along with Grilled Onions. I ordered it "Mike's Way" with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil, red wine vinegar, and oregano, and added pickle chips. I further learned that the "Hot" in the title refers not so much to spicy as to cooked on a grill until hot. I have previoiusly enjoyed Jersey Mike's Original Italian Sub, which is cold. But the Hot Italian Sub is juicier from cooking, and a real winner. Service was very good this time, and all staffers encountered were friendly.

Due to the time I knew it would take a bit longer. No biggie. Upon arrival I began to notice something was off. They already charge almost $4 for avocado so I expect my order to have every ingredient i ask for. My Cali club had no avocado; bacon, and the rest of the ingredients rationed. My husband also didn't get avocado in his chicken ranch and it was missing the rosemary bread. To make matters even more uncomfortable there was a hair in the sandwich. Idk what happened but I can't be the only one who got their order messed up today. No way.

I've been going to Saverino's Italian Deli & Market for many years, and it has always been amazing…read more The food is consistently excellent, whether you're ordering a sandwich, lasagna, a side, or one of their daily specials. This place is always busy, both inside and with takeout orders, so I definitely recommend ordering ahead if you're in a hurry. That said, they are consummate professionals at what they do, and even if you walk in, the wait is never painful. My advice: check out the menu while you're in line and be ready to order when you get to the register. They're busy, and nobody wants to be the indecisive person holding up the line! Their daily specials are incredible, but be aware that if you want a special from a different day, it's not happening. Also, get there early if you want the special, because they can and do sell out -- which honestly just proves how good they are. Everything here is done right. The menu items are thoughtfully put together, balanced, and full of flavor. Portions are generous without being ridiculous, prices are very fair, and honestly, I think they may even be low compared to the value you get. The staff is always helpful, and the girl at the counter has been there as long as I've been going -- I believe she's family -- which says a lot about the heart behind this place. Don't skip the market, either. They carry some of the best Italian ingredients, and it adds even more to the experience. Saverino's is by far the best sandwich spot in Redlands, and I'd go out on a limb and put them in the top five on the West Coast. Family-run, local, consistent, and absolutely top notch. This place is a winner and deserves a try. Just one warning: THEY ARE ADDICTIVE!

Didn't feel tight, tables were spaced reasonably.

$73.00 For Two Burgers, Onion Rings, and Two Sodas…read more. I so wanted this place to make me feel it was worth that.. I saw a video that hyped this place up and we showed up.. The Market Place is very cool and there was a lot of things we wanted to try and Hen & Heifer was the one we started with. The staff were super friendly and nice. We ordered "The Boss Hog" and the "Mannimal.. Onion Rings.. A Diet Coke and a Coke in the Bottle.. Everything is à la cart.. Just FYI.. The Boss Hog was a Double Cheeseburger with Pastrami, Carmelized Onions, and Cheese. $21.00 The Mannimal Was A Single Cheeseburger between Two Grilled Cheese Sandwiches with Carmelized Onions. $18.28 Onion Rings $11.86 Diet Coke in the Can $2.00 Coke in Bottle $4.85 And Aparently I Tipped $10.43 and I don't remember that since I ordered at a counter and picked up from the counter.. I am not sure how that happened! The burgers were ok.. I was expecting them to be full of flavor, but the carmelized onions were the best thing beween the bun.. I am sorry, but the meat should have been the star and it wasn't. The bun on the boss hog was soaked and wet and stuff dripped out when squeezed like a sponge. The cheese for the grilled cheese on the mannimal was different from the cheese on the burger itself. $12 Dollar onion rings, I was expecting more than a single serving and them to really good for Onion Rings that cost almost as much as a Burger. I wanna be nice about this place but the difference between what I got for what I paid and the lacking flavor. I was not impressed.. Was it this visit or is this normal?

We went at a perfect time, before the line went almost out the door. Our food was just okay. We kept it simple with a bacon, egg, & cheese sandwich (which was fine) and a sausage, egg, & cheese sandwich. The sausage seems to have just been warmed. We wish it would have been cooked on a flat top or something similar. We both tried new iced coffees. Caramel Coconut Latte and the Billy Buster. The latte was lightly flavored with actual coconut pieces inside. We weren't sure whether to get the Billy Buster hot or iced; the cashier recommended iced. When sipping the coffee through the straw, chunks of peanut butter were coming up and separating in my mouth, leaving an odd texture. I attempted to stir the drink as much as possible, but was only able to finish a 1/4 of it. I'm wondering if hot would have been better for the blending of the peanut butter into the drink?! We would not order it again, nor the sausage sandwich.

I understand things happen but the lack of follow up is why I'm placing this complaint. 3/21 my kids were exhausted from a tournament and wanted bk subs. I tried calling but I figured they were just busy as they often only have one employee. I was excited to see that I could order online. So I placed my order so it could be ready by the time we were in town. Got there and there was a paper on the window to go to loma linda, however I was already charged and my kids were exhausted I didn't want to drive from the direction I just came so I called and a representative who was very nice and tried handling it and was more professional than the owner I just spoke with. I left my information for the manager to call me. It has now been over a week and my credit card was still charged so I called. The manager told me he told the employee to tell me I have to go to doordash "if I call back" so why do I need to inconvenience myself again because the manager wasn't willing to call me to rectify it. The manager interrupted me while speaking, but was upset when I reciprocated that behavior. The owner told me to look up DoorDash and how they are a third party and why I need to deal with them. Which I don't need to look up as that is common sense. But I am putting this here so the manager can see he could look up on how to turn off DoorDash when they randomly close or are out of the country etc. I am very disappointed. All of this over 2 sandwiches. If I was called or the approach was different I wouldn't be leaving this review. "Yes, restaurant owners can turn off or pause DoorDash when closed using the Merchant Portal or tablet by selecting "Pause Store" or adjusting "Special Closures/Hours".
