Fast food is fast food, right? The expectations aren't usually high. Stopped here while driving through Nebraska. Might've encountered the most friendly, most helpful person in a fast food restaurant ever. Wish I would've caught his name, but he was fantastic. Honestly, I had lost faith in most fast food places everywhere post Covid craziness, but this place was on top of it today. It's like someone out there still cares enough to have decent customer service & make sure their food is good & fresh. Props to the employees for actually working their jobs. The drive thru guy spoke clearly & got it right the first time. It only took a few minutes of waiting to get our order. Everything was in the bag & correct, again. I have to travel to SD from eastern NE often. This Arby's is my all time favorite stop on the way. The BEST service every time we go. Inside is always clean. Food has always been up to par. I haven't had a pleasant experience like this at a fast food restaurant in a while! The gentleman working up front was SO POLITE and courteous. I thought about asking him for his name so that I could mention it here, but decided that might be creepy. Cheers to you, dude with the shoulder length hair and goatee. Customer service above and beyond. The gentleman who took our order at the drive-thru took the time to explain the menu as well as combine our order into the combos to give us the best deal. Then when he was handing over the food, we asked if there was a park nearby as we were in the road and didn't want to eat in the car. Went to this Arby's on the way home to Denver - Broncos scored two touch downs last night - so according to Arby's their promotion states I get a free classic Arby's They wouldn't do it But did Sign my receipt saying that on my next visit they would honor it - like I'm going to drive back from Denver to eat here - by the way the rest room was filthy - no towels to dry your hands - I should have gone to McDonald's At least you know that they have hand towels and clean rest rooms read more

On our way to see family in Iowa, this Arby's was clean with quick service. They had slider deals from 2-5 so we got a lot of different sliders, kids liked them, the Market Fresh triple decker my wife got was good, deli quality. Went through drive through for the 2,000th time this morning and clearly ordered a specific meal deal I get almost every week and shorted potatoes and the kid running the drive up says I only ordered one thing when I clearly ordered a meal!! Wow....what a nightmare. I should have left after I went to use the restroom. I hope that was just water I was standing in. No paper towels to dry off my hands. Travis was a nice enough kid, but seemed overwhelmed mainly thanks in part to the annoying truck driver, who I'll call "Dimitri", who was in a constant stream of telling everyone how slow the place was. Had to ask twice to get my drink cup. Now, where to sit...apparently no where since all of the tables either had trays and garbage left on them or weren't cleaned off. Meanwhile, Dimitri has upped the ante by asking if he can go back and make his own food since "they are super slow". My guess is they were trying to avoid him since hygiene isn't in his vocabulary. If he was wearing cologne, my guess is it was called "Rotting Corpse". Doesn't help that he is pacing back and forth between the counter and drink dispenser like a caged animal. Finally he gets his order and is demanding a chocolate turnover for having to wait for so long. I guess five sandwiches aren't enough. Probably worked up a good appetite doing all that pacing and running his mouth so he needs that turnover for extra sustenance. He also seemed to have found the only "clean" table left...or, is probably just used to sitting in garbage so it really didn't matter to him. Right, so they have my order ready and I ask if I can just get it to go since none of the tables are cleaned off. The guy (not Travis) just hands me a bag and says he wasn't working the drive-thru. Great, thanks for that bit of attitude. I then asked if I could get a free turnover for having to bag my own food. I guess he didn't understand sarcasm or just went into some type of trance all of the sudden since he just stood there and stared blankly at me. I said forget it but I would like some napkins since all of the dispensers were empty. He said they were out. Seriously...you're out of napkins? So, I decided to not bag my food and take the tray with me outside to my car. I figured I could use the bag and tray liner to wipe my hands on. I was told by trance boy I couldn't take the tray outside. I asked if I could trade it for a turnover and he said that he wasn't authorized to do that, so I continued my way outside tray and all. So, I'm sure you're wondering what happened to Dimitri. Well, he made it out alive for the most part, turnover in hand as he headed to his truck. I won't mention who he drives for because I am sure they are a good company, so no need to throw them under the bus so to speak. Bon Voyage Dimitri....keep it between the ditches. I am now done with my meal and instead of taking my tray back inside, I just decide to set it by the door to essentially prove a point....why? I guess I am a jerk like that...maybe if they would have given me a free turnover. .... read more
