Food is authentic and SO GOOD! Decor / ambiance are modest, but the food will transport your tastebuds to a delicious Indian experience. We visit Lake McConaughy often and we'll visit here again and again. Still thinking about the meal we had (saag, tandoori, garlic naan, lassi) and want to relive it! read more

If you like the mild, slightly sweet flavor of midwestern food with familiar vegetables (corn, carrots, peas) you will probably really like this place. The Indian flavors are subtle and approachable. We ordered the medium spice level and it was not at all spicy, however, we heard people around us ordering mild and commenting on how spicy it was. No shade to midwesterners, I am one originally but we did not think it was super flavorful, on the other hand we ordered vegetarian and my guess is, in beef country I imagine the meat is good. Restaurant is clean with a full bar, even though there was only one server he did a good job and the service was fine. My advice, if you are an Indian food enthusiast is to skip. If you are not usually the type but looking for a little adventure I think you will love it. read more

Small restaurant and bar just off a motel. Wait staff are friendly. The menu is pretty good. And the food is pretty standard Indian fare. Not too spicy for us Midwesterners, but flavorful and good portions. I really liked the fresh squeezed lime drink, very refreshing. read more

This place is wonderful. What a surprise to have quality Indian food in rural Nebraska. The Kadai chicken was wonderful and the rice was just perfectly cooked as was the garlic naan. Probably took 10-15 minutes to cook fresh after I ordered. Highly recommended. read more

The food is very flavorful BUT portions were way too small for the cost. Very expensive for the serving sizes.

The place has a bar feel with minimal decor. My adult son had Indian and enjoyed it very much, my other son had a ground chicken burger that he enjoyed and I had a burger that was a B-. Service was prompt but not terribly friendly. It is a very unique menu in the heart of corn country. read more

308 Lounge is now Bollywood Indian kitchen. Authentic Indian food, great service. We ordered the Paneer Chilli, the Lamb Curry, and the Cholla Bhatura, and Roti. All were excellent. The Paneer Chilli was appropriately spicy, the Cholla very flavorful, the Bhatura soft and perfectly spiced. The lamb curry was tender and flavorful. The Roti was a great accompaniment to the lamb. I've travelled in India and this meal would get high marks In county. read more

This is a new restaurant in Ogallala. I have been to many Indian restaurants and this is one of the very best. My brother had tandoori style lamb chops and they were incredible. My sister-in-law had tandoori chicken and it was half a chicken. I had shrimp vindaloo and it was amazing. We shared excellent naan. Food was reasonably priced and the service was excellent. If your travels take you to Ogallala, stop in. If you live there, definitely stop in! read more

Excellent Service. Food arrived perfect and was very impressed with the quality and flavor. Finding Indian food in all of western Nebraska Is challenging. We were informed there is a big shift to revising the menu to a platform thats going to offer a much larger Indian selection and lot less Mexican and American, and thats great as Ogallala is overwhelmed with Burger and mexican offerings Apparantly the owners of 308 are investing heavily in new kitchen equipment suited to Indian Food. Including a traditional Tandoor oven We will for sure return, and looking forward to tasting some reaĺly delicious food. read more

6.5/10 - Overall 5/10 - Tikka Tikka Wings 4.5/10 - Masala Tikka 8.5/10 - Bean Burrito with Red Sauce 8/10 - Three Tacos 7/10 - Restaurant 8/10 - Service Ok, tough one here, LOVE the variety of the menu (American, Indian, Mexican). The Mexican food is arguably better than the Indian. This is a bit of a surprise as the ownership and staff seem to be of Indian decent. The restaurant is part of the Quality Inn, and it is decent and welcoming. It's clean with several big TVs and a game room. The ownership/staff are super friendly and helpful. The recommendation to the ownership is to double down on the authenticity of the their Indian cuisine. The Indian food seemed to be premade/canned. Apologies to the ownership if it is indeed authentic/homemade, we eat a lot of Indian all over the country and this fell well short of what I believe this place is capable of serving up. One suggestion is trade the Tikka Wings in for Tandoori Wings. Overall, it's still one of the best restaurants in the area, especially if you are just passing thru Ogallala. read more

This is some of the best Indian food I have ever eaten. As a pescatarian, it's difficult to find vegetarian meals in beef country. They had a wide variety of vegetarian choices. the naan was some of the best I've ever had -- warm and soft and chewy! I am definitely going back and I'm bringing friends! read more

First time visiting this establishment and the food and staff were AMAZING!! So many rich delicious flavors!! I'll definitely be going back again! Best part, they had NE VB displayed on their huge TVs! read more

Great food and service, kadai chicken was excellent. A new restaurant but worth a try

Great food, great service. Perfect stop on our drive home from Colorado. Very clean inside.

We loved this place! We had great service and the food was excellent. We ordered butter chicken with rice, garlic naan, and chicken tandoori. It was all great. The place doesn't look like a typical Indian restaurant. It looks like a well put together sports bar with lots of big TVs and plenty of space. 10/10. read more

The variety of options was insane. We ended up having a bit of Mexican, Indian and American and it was all really delicious!

best naan I've ever had. Samosa excellent and the sauce! Great atmosphere and better service. perfect break on our drive through. Good bar with decent selection. read more

I'd give it zero stars if possible. We ended up leaving the place because no one would wait on us. menu looked good and I would've loved to try a couple of things. in their defense, it was a Wednesday and only 2 people working. read more

Nothing fancy but good food and convenient to all the hotels around. Wide variety on the menu makes it a great place for groups

Based on the menu and other great reviews we stopped in for lunch. I started with a cocktail, the Purple Rain, yummy and pretty. I had the cocktail sized Samosas. Having an onion allergy, samosas are hard for me to find without and these were so flavorful, so many and so hot! Tamarind sauce was perfect. My husband, being cold, ordered the chicken tortilla soup. I questioned if it would be enough and it was. A huge, hearty bowl of all fresh ingredients, best he's ever had he said. If you go and it's empty, don't be put off, they are busier when people start checking in to the connected hotel. And while a menu with 3 different types of cuisine (American, Indian and Mexican) can give a little bit of a pause, we were impressed with what we chose. Being connected to the hotel it had some games, a pool table and things to keep the kids busy plus multiple TVs to watch sports. Sad I don't live nearby. read more

Just left 308 and it was amazing ! Driving I80 and stopped based on other reviews and we were not disappointed. The wings and butter chicken were delicious, and the accompanying Naan was some of the best I have ever had . The service provided by Taylor was top-notch . We will definitely return!!! . read more

This place is definitely worth a stop. Get the curry wings. I went here bc I wanted Mexican food. But I had to know what's up with these curry chicken wings. They were so, so good. You're cheating yourself if you don't taste these wings. I requested medium-hot spice and they were so on point. Oh, and my shredded chicken burrito with green chile sauce (not green sauce, but red enchilada sauce with green chiles in it) was fantastic, too. I would drive 1,000 miles from my home again for this place. read more

Wow! I would make it a point to put this on your mandatory I80 stops. A hidden gem. Had the Butter Chicken and it was at the top, if not on top of Indian food I've had, and I travel for a living. A very clean, nice, modern atmosphere. Don't let the name fool you, this is real, fresh, super flavorful Indian cuisine! I'd drive a long way for this food. Can't wait to try the Mexican food. read more

Who would have thought you could get delicious East Indian food here? One of tonight's three specials was butter chicken served with basmati rice and naan. Delicious! I'd be here all the time if I lived in this town. Restaurant is located at the Quality Inn right off the highway. read more

The Butter Chicken is outstanding! My husband said their burger was the best in town.

A very nice addition to the restaurants in Ogallala. The white variety of food from American to Indian to Mexican. I have the curry wings. They were amazing if I had one downfall of the whole place it was that my fingers tips were stained yellow read more

Interesting balance of authentic and fusion in their Indian, Mexican, and American dishes. As a vegetarian, I appreciated their vegetarian burger, a Paneer Tikka Burger. I've had lots of burgers and Indian food, but I've never had a burger with a paneer patty - generous size, spicy sauce. Will go back, in fact, going back today (likely not easy to find elsewhere)! read more

Working in the area and this restaurant was next to the hotel. Had fantastic wings. Fully stocked bar and wonderful service.
