The service was not that good, the girl kept yelling at me, I think her name was G. Douglass. Anywho, my burger came out over cooked (might be because of the fire) and the buns were just DISGUSTING. Went in to order on my way back from Atlantic City towards NY because I had a coupon to use and the cashier was so friendly and patient! The restaurant itself is nothing special, it's a fast food establishment but it wasn't dirty and they got the food ready pretty quickly during lunch hours. I went to try their limited time wagyu burger finally and it was delicious. Sauce is a bit on the sweet side so maybe get that on the side, the chicken bacon ranch curly fries were also yum. read more

I normally love an Arby's. Fast food that focuses on meat. The concept is great but service at this particular Arby's fell completely apart at dinner time tonight. One girl with a manager were all that existed in the building. My husband waited 20 minutes for just one car to leave the drive through service window and when it was his turn he was told they could not print out a receipt! This is ridiculous! They took my husband's debit card but did not tell him until after they placed a charge on it that they would not be giving him a receipt! Seriously they had zero rolls of blank register tape? They could not place a big sign on the ordering board and service window stating that there would be no receipts? They could not bother to tell every single customer at the drive up speaker, before they ordered, that they would get no receipt for what they paid for? I find myself getting more and more frustrated with the lack of service in America. Companies should NOT be open if they don't have an adequate amount of staff to run it and yes a receipt for your purchase is a necessity for many reasons! 1) Every customer has the right to know what they were charged, per item, in their purchase and whether the tax rate is correct along with the total! I will be calling the State of NJ Taxation department tomorrow to find out if this is still the law in NJ. 2) Another reason for a receipt is the proof of what the company billed you for if that is different than what the company gave you. IE: Along with rest of our order my husband asked for 2 classic beef n cheddar sandwiches but what we got was 2 classic hot roast beef sandwiches. NO cheese on either sandwich! For the cheese lovers of the world you can understand our frustration. Now we have no receipt to prove we ordered anything much less beef sandwiches with cheddar on them. We can prove our Wells Fargo Bank is transferring $35.25 to Arbys which is a rather large amount for two people ordering at the drive through but unfortunately Wells Fargo is just showing that total deduction and nothing more. Arbys will be getting my phone call tomorrow after I call the NJ Department of Taxation. National corporations need to close businesses that don't have enough staff to change a register receipt. If they don't have enough staff for that simple, quick task then I can only guess at how well the building and appliances are being cleaned, how quickly delivered meat is being put into refrigeration versus sitting out waiting for staff. Corporations need to worry about food safety, state laws concerning taxation and whether customers are getting the food they ordered. Simple but very reasonable expectations. read more

I ordered the limited time movie promo "Good Burger 2" burger. There was no sauce, which is the big important thing that's supposed to be what makes the burger special and a Good Burger burger. I paid $15 for an average fast food burger meal. Dexter and Ed from the film would be really disappointed, like myself. I traveled about 25 minutes to try this "special". They should have said they're out of the sauce while I ordered, but they didn't. They only told after I went back up to counter to show them the sauce less burger. The strawberry shake was ok and fries were average crinkle cut fries, at least they were hot. I gave service two stars because an employee who was on break ask what was up I told him and he went to double check the sauce situation perhaps should have ask for a refund but didnt bother. I couldn't make it home without eating something so I treated myself to pecan chicken salad which had grapes. Yumm!! I was eating with my eyes and couldn't resist the fully loaded curly fries. The drive thru person kept insisting on some other dishes. I laughed and told him I didn't dare, afraid to appear homeless. Jk. Didn't make it out of the parking lot and attacked my bags. Took four bites of the sandwich and was almost full. But WOW was that tasty. I put it aside just in case the fries weren't as good as it appeared. No lie in seconds it evaporated. The drive thru attendant was the worst - made us feel dumb for asking for items. For example when we asked for a medium roast beef, he said uh you mean "the double?" When we asked for a junior roast beed he said "ugh...we don't have those anymore. When we asked if the had another kid sized version he said "ugh...well we have sliders". This all would have seem okay but his tone was extremely condescending. He never said thank you at any point. I believe this is the only Arby's in Monmouth County. If there are others, I am not aware of them. As far as fast food chains are concerned, Arby's has always been one of my favorites. It is a step ahead of Burger King and McDonalds in as far as quality is concerned. They have fairly decent roast beef sandwiches and other offerings. Now as far as this particular Arby's is concerned --- I visited by drive-thru at about 8:00 pm on a Thursday night. I was less than impressed. Service was extremely slow and the takeout people didn't seem like they knew what they were doing. While my chicken sandwich was fine --- my fries were absurdly hot. I almost burned my mouth on them. That should never happen. They were over cooked and really not all that enjoyable. I've eaten at Arby's before, so I'm hoping this is visit was a fluke and its not typical for the location. Regardless, since I do not eat fast food very often and this Arby's is very much out of my way, I doubt that I'll be back anytime soon. read more

If you want fast food in sandwich form, Arby's is a decent place to get your fix. This one in particular is never that busy if you order inside. We were on our way from Cape May County and decided to stop at the outlets. Upon leaving we were hungry, but didn't want to go too ​far off course, when I noticed an Arby's nearby. I had a medium roast beef sandwich, which was loaded with meat and was very delicious. The others had the roast beef and cheddar and cheese steak sandwiches​. The little one had chicken tenders, which she thought wasn't enough for her. Upon overhearing this, one of the staff brought over two more tenders for her. read more

When it comes to fast food spots this place is great. I love their roast beef sandwiches and that BBQ sauce they put on em is so good. They also have pastrami now and its bomb. Their curly fries are bomb too. The ingredients are way better quality than other fast food joints its just a cut above. There was a manager here a few years ago who made the arby's experience great. I would ring the bell all the time. Now I find myself getting free things for mistakes made more often than not without said manager. I bought three different meals from the drive through where I waited awhile at the window which made me think the food was being cooked Fresh that moment. I brought it home to eat and was nauseated by the food. The gyro salad had brown and yellow mushy lettuce and the gyro meat edges looked like it sat out for awhile and the pita was dry and stale tasting. The turkey sandwich had two think slices on the sandwich which in contrary to the commercial stating Arby's has the meat seemed like false advertisement. The bread and lettuce was all we tasted. The French fries were half cooked and half cold. I wrote a complaint via email and called them and was asked why I didn't complain to the store so I explained I had brought it home before discovering all the issues. I was offered a gift card to the store which I declined because who in their right mind would go back there. They told me they would contact the store and get back to me. Today I called back customer service to ask them why it's been a week with no response. The man gave me all these excuses like "maybe the manager is on vacation" maybe the workers that were there that day they haven't spoke to yet" etc. So not only has Arby's not resolved my issue but the customer service was clueless about handling issues to improve the franchise reputation. After arguing for over ten minutes with customer service I suggested he get a supervisor involved and he said he would escalate the complaint to higher management. So moral if the story I paid &27 for an awful meal that is advertised on tv of having great food then ignored by the store when I complained and in conclusion My complaints were not heard or handled appropriately by the customer service representative.
