This is my second Five Guys in three days. I was impressed with the Wall Twp location but not so much with this one. The floors were quite messy, my first impression was really negative. The staff seemed like they were tired and grumpy. BUT the food was excellent. Juicy burger, great fries made in peanut oil and a drink. Caution!!! Those of you that are allergic to peanuts, avoid the fries. Restroom was clean. read more

I really wanted a good hamburger - so tried this convenient stop. Disappointed! The burger was dry and flavorless. The service was adequate and the restaurant a bit too noisy - but the sandwich was just not good. read more

I hadn't had 5 Guys in a while so we stopped in tonight and the guy who took our order was very friendly. Something was just off with my burger, it had a crust/char on the outside and wasn't as good as I remembered which honestly might have been 2 years ago so maybe things have changed. I definitely suggest getting the "Little" sized fries -- it's enough for 2-3 people. I love french fries but I can't imagine having any more than what you get for that size. My girlfriend got a cheese dog which she liked as well. I do agree with some other reviews, this place is pretty dirty. They could probably afford to have some type of manager on duty, because it didn't seem like there was one. read more

Excellent thank you for great cheeseburger and shake. And Cajun fries are awesome Hand cut great We are back. Great fries and free peanuts read more

Ended up stopping here unexpectedly because this spot doesn't show up on imaps if you search nearby food. The food was great, we got a cheese dog and a little bacon burger. The bacon was crispy and the burger was delicious. The service was ok, but they seemed short staffed. They're hiring! None of the tables were wiped/cleaned off, but the food was great. read more

I walked into five guys and there was no line. The lady at the cash register was friendly and took my order no problem. The dining room was almost empty and there was one order ahead of me. As you can see in the picture, there are tomatoes on my burger. I also added the bag receipt of what I ordered. There were also no raw onions on my burger. I don't understand how you can mess up and order when it isn't even busy! I get mistakes happen but they weren't even rushing while making my burger because I was sitting there for about 10 minutes. I love going to five guys but why should I go back if they can't give me what I ordered?? read more

Five Guys - a burger and a bag of chips - Burgers Near Me - Shrewsbury, New Jersey

You get what you expect. They will customize and personalize. Best part though is that the fries are made in peanut oil.

Don't get me wrong- five guys is great. Great burgers, fries are to die for, overall just a great place to eat. What isn't so great is the condition of this place tonight. All the tables are filthy, they are out of ketchup and lids for drinks. My mother went to use the bathroom and informed me she got the last sheet of toilet paper. I get being busy and having some issues with upkeep- but what is funny is the fact that there are some employees standing around doing nothing right now. This place seems very disorganized and I am upset with the condition it is in- I shouldn't have to pick my table based on which one has the least spills and trash on it. read more

Burgers are delicious, fries are even better! Portions are generous. One of our fav weekend take out joints.

Completely disappointed. Been here many times and never once was my food been presented so horribly. My burger in lettuce was just thrown together with no pride. The service was horrible today as well. The workers showed no care at making their customers happy. read more

It must have been cold there in my shadow, to never have sunlight on your face. You were content to let me shine, that's your way. You always walked a step behind. So I was the one with all the glory, while you were the one with all the strength. A beautiful face without a name for so long. A beautiful smile to hide the pain. Did you ever know that you're my hero, and everything I would like to be? I can fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. It might have appeared to go unnoticed, but I've got it all here in my heart. I want you to know I know the truth, of course I know it. I would be nothing without you. Did you ever know that you're my hero? You're everything I wish I could be. I could fly higher than an eagle, 'cause you are the wind beneath my wings. Best burgers. Best fries. Oh yes, oh yes. I want it all over my body. read more

This place rock's the nearby Bobby's Burger Palace's face off. Its just like the other locations in NY. Free peanuts- You cannot go wrong with cajun fries and a regular burger with whatever you want on. Why does it taste so good to slowly kill your heart? I feel as if the quantity of fries they'd give you since they first opened has dimished but they still taste great. Don't miss out! read more

All employees are standing around doing nothing. Been waiting nearly 15 mins so far. It's filthy. One of the employees actually has her daughter here who is probably 2 years old. She's running around chasing her. About to leave because I'm grossed out. Never again read more

Surprisingly I actually prefer Five Guys over Bobby's Burger Palace. My daughter feels the same way. In fact I probably would not have tried Five Guys if it had not been for her suggestion. The first time in we both got the standard burger. We did not know that they were doubles. We usually order the Little Burger which is a single. I love all the choices for condiments. Mine always includes pickles, tomatoes, mustard, hot peppers and hot sauce (this combination always gets me looks from the staff). The fries are great. Usually more than I can eat but I always finish them. Unlike other restuarants like this I never feel like I have sinned. I never feel like I am slowly killing myself by eating here. Maybe if they served shakes that would be a different story. This place is a vast improvement over the Friendly's that used to occupy the building. read more

There is the longest wait for food. Fries are never ready when the burgers are so burger gets cold while waiting for fries. You would think they would fill their condiments (ketchup) for takeout. Staff doesn't seem to care much. read more

Imagine this: 4 girls in cocktail dresses who have a few hours to kill between a wedding ceremony and the reception. Where do they decide to go? Someone says "Hey, there is this place called 5 Guys not to far .. sooo good there, lets go". So, we do. Everyone stared at us, as we were a bit over dressed for a burger joint, while we chomped into these juicy burgers stuffed with delicious additions. Ketchup smeared on our faces as we grabbed handfuls of fries. .. I NEVER eat fast food. Ever. But they give you free peanuts, so I'm in. read more

A good burger and fries place. I only went once because my friend suggested it when we were around the area. I would definitely go again if I feel like eating a good burger. Place has a barrel of all-you-can eat peanuts as well! read more

In general, I like Five Guys but almost walked out of this one. Burgers were fine. BUT there was a very unpleasant smell as I walked in which I'm assuming everyone inside had gotten used to. Bathrooms were not very clean, garbage cans very dirty on the outside, floors dirty. To top it off, a manager/owner (not sure) was walking around cleaning tables while loudly complaining to someone about the freezer being broken. Doesn't instill too much confidence in the meat quality and the customers really don't need to hear it having lunch. read more

We love Five Guys but had a miserable order experience where we tried to do Social Distanced pickup and they took the order. We were calling them from the parking lot to get fries out on and they never answered the phone. After 10 minutes of this walked into restaurant and they just stared at me as I waited in the pickup line. For about 5 minutes until I said Excuse Me to one of employees they didn't even recognize I was there! The whole time the phone was ringing in background and no one answering. read more

I'm going to give it 5 stars as far as a take out burger joint goes. Very tasty burgers with a choice of many different toppings. Use the on-line ordering and save yourself a few minutes. You just walk in and pick up the food. Not really that expensive compared to a comparable hamburger at Wendy's but much, much better. read more

They are closed for ac repair but they have the smallest sign on the door and don't even make any other attempt to let people know before they park the car and walk up. read more

Very very slow service. Greasy fries, dry bun. Should be called 5 guys ON BREAK. Would not go back.

5ive Guys is A-OK. Quality burger at a quality price. Yes, quality price means it ain't cheap. Fries are solid, massive quantity in a cup. And what is with the shouting. the staff shouts. please don't shout. maybe i'll go back. read more

Probably my favorite burger place around!! I haven't tried any of their competitors e.g, smash burgers. But it's way better than Burger King. read more

Hands down the filthiest five guys I have ever been in. Pubes on the toilet. Filthy bathroom. Filthy ketchup area, sticky filthy beverage dispenser. Never again. read more

I can't stress enough how much I love 5 guys... Or as we call it Cinco Hombres! Haha! I still remember the first time I walked into one... It was immediately announced that 3 of us walked it, we were welcomed with warm smiles and our orders were taken quickly... The burgers are made to order with any and as many toppings you would like... Never order a large fries because no matter what size you order, they fill your paper bag with fries... I get excited every time I see a grease soaked brown paper bag... This place was sent to earth by God himself and he eats there regularly I am sure! Thank you 5 Guys! I LOVE you all!!!!!!!! read more

Waited 15 min for a single burger. No one ahead of me... not worth the wait. All bread, no toppings like I asked. Fries were raw. Don't normally write negative reviews, but felt the need to warn others to completely avoid this place read more

This place takes forever!!! They have a ton of employees and only two work. And this wasn't the first time I have been there multiple times . The owner needs to get in the store and see the service. At least the employees are pleasant read more

Not quite In-N-Out, but this will be a good East Coast replacement. This is fast food, but definitely better than some of the bigger chains. Not a huge variety as burger and fries ate pretty much your choices. You can have peanuts while you wait. The burgers are juicy and a good size. You're able to pick from a variety of toppings and can get 1 (this is the little) or 2 patties. The fries are huge portions and come in Cajun or regular. We had Cajun which were a bit much for me-I'll get regular next time. All around good, inexpensive, quick burger place. read more

Staff was nice enough, but nothing special about the burger. Received a fried burger with tasteless meat and miniscule amounts of toppings. Fries were good but nothing special about this place. Best part was the free peanuts. read more

Waited (and still waiting) for over an hour. Honestly it's not the TWO individuals who are working on a Friday night at 7pm. But still, management had to do something. I placed an online order and it said to pick it up at 7:03. I'm pretty sure they haven't even started it. It's very busy here, but again, that's to be expected on Friday. Since they're so far behind they're mass cooking everything and you can clearly see that most of the stuff is burnt now. Again, it's really not these two guys fault. I blame management. You should have SOME kind of plan for this. I'm scared to see what my food looks like. read more

Generally I appreciate all Five Guys restaurants and this place used to be no exception. However, service and quality has tanked significantly over the last year or so. Order times are taking longer and longer and the accuracy of the orders is also suffering. For example yesterday I ordered a bun-less burger and it took 27 minutes from the time my burger was ordered until the time I received it, and it was incorrect! read more

Am I really the first to declare that the emperor has no clothes? Talk about an overrated and overpriced mediocre experience. The burgers barely compete with Burger King and are proudly "cooked well done"! Where is the flavor supposed to come from at that point? The fries are OK but certainly don't warrant $2.50. And don't fall for their well done marketing trick of throwing extra fries into the bag after putting in the basket of fries. Those extra fries have been priced into the basket already! I don't know if this will just be a passing fad along with Smash Burgers and Shake Shack but if it's what floats your boat, go for it. They're laughing all the way to the bank! read more

Great burger. Staff not so much. Changed all the soda flavors on both machines during lunch today. Terrible. Never did get the soda I paid for. read more

Like everyone says. Their burgers are quality but the fries are just okay. But their burgers are definitely worth trying

I have never been disappointed. My favorite post workout spot. I love mixing it up with topping, chomping on peanuts while I wait and heating things up with spicy fries. Only thing missing from here is some beer! read more

Great burgers, and certainly not the healthiest out there. The beef they use is excellent, as are the ingredients--always have been fresh. The fries are great as well. Would be five stars, but just seems to be lacking that extra something. read more

Five Guys fan in general, was on the way back from a wedding and stopped here for lunch. Most of these locations are pretty conistent, so you know what you are getting. Pretty damn good for a chain burger restuarant. Had a hotdog and cajun fries for the first time. Would say cajun fries better than the regular. Hot dog pretty solid. read more

Great burgers and fries cooked to order - tasty and delicious. Nice all you can eat peanuts while waiting for your order also.

I went to five guys on my birthday and had the worst experience ever there. The cashier, Travis or Trevor misunderstood what I said; I wanted grilled onions and he gave me grilled mushrooms. I told the staff what happened and then I waited for 19 or 20 minutes just for them to make it correct. I understand they have to stop the line and make mine again however that shouldn't take 20 minutes. To add around 7 other orders were made in that time. I will not ever again. Perid read more
