I haven't been to the Pour House in 25+ years and it's still delicious. Beer on tap, the French onion soup and nachos are the best combination. Let's talk French onion soup- the perfect cheese with frizzled onions on top equals delicious. The nachos have chili, lots of cheese, jalapeños and all of the toppings you can imagine. I can't wait to go back and try some other items. Our service was great and very attentive.

No wait which was nice. Say in a booth by the bar. They had a specials menu which we ordered the Captain Bob's seafood sampler with a side salad. It took a very long time for it to come out. When it did, it looked promising. Unfortunately, it was all very average and bland. Soggy corn on the cob and the a rice pilaf that had zero flavor. The shrimp, fish, and crab meat was not seasoned. The highlight of the meal was the side salad which was fresh and cold. I would never order it again. Will mention that the bathroom and table was clean.

This is the best local place for good bar food. Any day of the week you can find it packed! The staff are friendly and attentive. We love the fresh popped popcorn machine. For warm vibes and great food come here!

The server (Allie) was super helpful I helping me choose a meal I'd enjoy. It's a cozy atmosphere with casual vibe. The food was definitely something to report in a positive way. I as a vegetarian had their house made veggie burger (no bun-wasn't missed either!) made with sweet potato and black bean, covered in Jack cheddar I think and topped with avocado and a spicy mayo. It was delicious! Could be my new favorite pub grub! I'll definitely be back.

The Pour House in Tinton Falls, NJ just completed their renovations. Added outside dining and another room inside. The food tonight was delicious. The French Onion soup was flavorful, cheesy and hot. There were 3 shrimp tacos packed with toppings with a side of fries all very fresh. Husbands burger was medium rare (pink) on the inside with fries and coleslaw. Came out just like he wanted it. Our friends platter of a broiled chicken cutlet, broccoli and rice was more than enough to eat and the chicken was moist. Service was spot on. Waitress attended to all necessary needs and was attentive to our needs. Highly recommend this restaurant, don't think you'd be sorry

We went for their Octoberfest and were really impressed! The service was great, the food was quite good. My wife was a little disappointed that her salad had so much white lettuce. The sauerbraten was tasty and portions were large. The wait staff happily provided extra gravy. My daughter loved the Wiener schnitzel and my grand liked the sausage sampler. They take no reservations, so you may wait a while to be seated. Prices are not terrible.

New York Strip Steak & Garlic Mashed Potatoes

I ordered the special for the day: New York Strip Steak. It came with soup ( I chose white bean), salad (I chose shrimp & egg), and a side (I chose mashed potatoes). The soup wasn't what I expected; It tasted more like a Pasta Fagioli sans pasta. The salad was perfect- crisp and cool. The steak was perfectly cooked per my request (medium rare). The mashed potatoes came with butter and I also had au jus. They were freshly whipped and absolutely delicious. I also had a sangria and it was flavorful and was the right amount of sweetness. The hostess and waitress were prompt, polite and friendly. My one complaint is that the restaurant is currently being renovated. The booth seats sink very low and when someone is sitting in the next booth, it feels like they are pressing their back into your booth. I'm hoping that when the renovations are complete that the booth quality will improve.

Pros - huge menu, reasonably priced (for the area), new outdoor patio, attentive staff. Cons - flat soda (as of December 2023), long waits, and the bar closes too early (10pm) With some minor adjustments, this could be a five star experience. I'll continue to come back because the food is good and I prefer to support a local spot vs a big chain.

A Freind of mine did this on the entrance wall back in 1990

Basic place. Crowded. Menu wasn't for me. My turkey burger was undercooked. Not a place I need to ever return to.

Is this restaurant wheelchair accessible?

Yes. There are no steps to get inside. So very wheelchair accessible.

Are the Crabmeltaways still as good as I remember them? We were Crabmeltaway junkies. One of my favorite restaurants till I moved to CA in 1996.

Not sure how you remember them, but they are still a classic

My wife had ordered the beef sandwich. We debated getting something off the kids menu for my son but he's only two and it was like $12 and we figured it would be worth just giving him some of what we ate and that actually sufficed. If your child's older probably would make sense, but for a little one, juice isn't worth the squeeze.. The food came out pretty quick, and it was really good. I really liked my Ruben. It was a closed face sandwich but they put a fair amount of meat on there which you can't complain about. The inside of the place was clean and what you would expect of a bar. The sit-down sitting area didn't seem too large but but large enough and we were there. We had the section to ourselves. The bar is actually pretty large and has amplementing in it. All in all, not a bad stop. If you're in the area it would be worth checking out.

He told us everything is made fresh and when he said the turkey and roast beef was made in house I had to try their Philly Cheese Steak sandwich which was made with their roast beef. Well, it was fabulous one of the better ones I've tried served with fresh cut fries and a pickle. John also mentioned the Tuna Melt was excellent so my wife gave it a try. Let's just say he didn't steer her wrong, she loved it. Got it with fresh cut sweet potato fries also very delicious. This place will definitely be a go to for us every time we're in the area.

We almost didn't go because of the 3.5-star rating, but the space looked promising and the menu caught our attention. I'm so glad we trusted our instincts. The decor is beautiful -- calm, cozy, and upscale without feeling stuffy. It has that warm, polished vibe that makes you want to settle in and actually enjoy your meal instead of feeling rushed. Our server, Devin, was fantastic. He was attentive, friendly, and genuinely kind. He checked in at the right times, answered all our questions, and made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. And the food? Absolutely delicious. My family and I are pretty picky about our meats, which is one of the reasons we usually prefer eating at home. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared -- flavorful without being overdone. You can tell care went into the quality. Overall, it was such a great experience. Definitely exceeded our expectations, and we'll be back.

The food was average/ good, just about what I expected! I got the rigatoni vodka and I wish it was a bit more flavorful, but you're probably better off getting a burger at a spot like this. Will be back to try more!
