Jalapeño Roast Beef Slider
Tia J.

I was so excited to discover a new Arby's location in the middle of my bi-monthly route from Portland to Seattle. I have always liked Arby's but this place has become my favorite. It's perfect since it's approx. my half way point in my route, just about the point where I start to get hungry or need something to drink. The drive thru is fast and efficient. They haven't made a single mistake so far. The staff has been very friendly each time I've stopped in. I always order a small box of jalapeño poppers and they fry them absolutely perfect every time! The little jalapeño sliders are really good and they don't skimp on the chopped jalapeños. You can never go wrong with the classic roast beef here either. Add a little Arby's and Horsey sauces and it becomes the best sandwich around! This is a nice, new, building and the restaurant itself is clean and neat looking. It's located very close to the interstate. It's super easy to get to from the Rush Rd (#72) exit ramp and even easier to get back onto the interstate. I'll be back to try a few other things on the menu. Keep up the good work!

Every time we go something is wrong. Either missing, made wrong or just nasty. The last order. The soda tasted moldy and the au jus was Barely filled and the little amount in there tasted disgusting

Each of our sandwiches tasted good and had fresh ingredients. The mac-n-cheese wasn't my favorite but that's just preference, nothing wrong with quality of it. Friendly fast service.

I was hungry and the Carl's Jr. line at the loves was full so I decided to cross the street and get some Arby's, I got the two gyros Greek style they were not too bad even though I prefer the authentic gyros but this was the closest to it.

This is considered a medium curly fry they were extremely cold and really dry. Like they've been sitting in the warmer all day.

The fries were extremely cold and dry. I ordered a French dip as well with no cheese. They must've put the cheese on and then tried to take it off because I still had cheese on my bread. The meat was also extremely cold that and dip was super thick, like it had been sitting. I tried to call them numerous of times their phone is unavailable.

Then I saw their TikTok last night, and let me tell you, that video had me craving it instantly. The scrumptiousness was living rent free in my brain all night, so today my son and I had to stop in and see what the hype was about. We ordered the Sour Diesel, the Fire, and the Afgoo, all on their toasted jalapeño cheese bread. First of all, the female employee who helped us was so friendly and welcoming. We do not eat out much, so we were genuinely excited and maybe a little impatient to try them. When they handed us the sandwiches, I immediately noticed how heavy they were. And the smell in the car on the way home, oh my goodness. Pure torture waiting to unwrap them. Then we got home and opened them up, and I was honestly shocked in the best way. There was actually a MEAL on that bread. Not one of those sad sandwiches that's 80 percent lettuce and air. These were loaded. My teenage son even commented on how good his was, and trust me, teen approval is not handed out lightly. The portions were generous, the flavors were bold, and each sandwich was totally unique and delicious. I can confidently say I have found a new favorite sub spot. Total hidden gem if you love a good sandwich that actually fills you up and tastes incredible. I did not grab a shake this time because it was freezing outside, but after seeing all the flavor options on the menu, I will absolutely be trying one next visit. Highly recommend in every aspect. I love when you try somewhere new and it completely exceeds expectations. This one is a must try.

Both were bland tasting. The hot honey sauce didn't taste like hot honey at all (more like Frank's sauce). The coleslaw didn't go with the rest of the dish at all. It just wasn't the right combination. We also waited a while for our order (approx. 20 mins). Not sure what the hold up was despite the place being empty when we dined in. The server was nice, though, and there is plenty of space for large groups. Outdoor seating available too. Overall, I likely won't be back.

I was starving and looking for something I could eat on the go, being a vegetarian seriously limits my options there, so I decided to be brave and try this spot since it was close to where I was. So glad I did!! It's a funky spot, lots of seating, super friendly staff, very clean. Bonus. They told me to expect 20 minutes for my sandwich but it was ready in under ten minutes, double bonus! The sandwich. Omg. Slightly ground and blackened chickpeas, super fresh arugula, super fresh tomato, an amazing sauce served on the softest ciabatta bread I've ever had. It was amazing - absolute perfection. And it was all wrapped up nice and neat for easy, on the road eating. Served with a bottle of water and bag of Tim's chips. This all made me very happy - give them a shot for sure if you're in the area.

It's much more a deli than a grocery store- not a dig, just the truth. I arrived around 1pm and they had a steady stream of people ordering smoothies and deli items. They have a fun mix of locally made crafts, some organic food items and some weird art. Truly an original mix! But the most important things - the place was clean. The bathroom was clean. The employees were clean and exceptionally friendly and attentive. And most importantly - the food was soooo good!! Very popular since most of the onsite seating were occupied (6/20/25). No surprise after glancing at their menu, easily I could gravitate towards several of their sandwiches. Lots of merch and deli items are also available to select from. I ended up ordering a half pound of proscuitto (0.52 lb for $17.67). This was carefully sliced thin, packaged, and wrapped carefully, which was duly noted and greatly appreciated. We paused at window counter seats and had to sample the purchase before departing. Absolutely delicious! Helped elevate a meal the next day too. I may have to return to indulge in one of their Italian sandwiches. Update: we did return to dine onsite at the same window counter seats (6/22/25). The Homie had the Hot Meatball ($14). Meaty with zesty sauce. I had the Salami Panini ($12), which reminded me of a fave Italian panini at Irwin's Bakery & Cafe in Seattle. Both were fantastic, hit the spot, clean plate club worthy, and definitely no takeout boxes needed! Gaetano's Market & Deli, a terrific find in Astoria!
