Adding a steak to a salad was $8 and the steak was finely chopped to hide its quality. So a salad with steak cost me $20! Absolutely wrong! The salad is big in size but low on quality and variety. No cherry tomatoes, no onions, no peppers very few carrots. The ranch dressing was lacking in taste and very, very thin. The salad contains mostly pieces with the ribs through the center. Not the highest quality at all. Only one variety of lettuce. The menu is not very big and it lacks variety of choices and enhancements. I probably would not recommend this to a friend and probably won't return. It is still the same basic place It was 40 years ago. It will not give you warm and fuzzy feelings....it is a bar with a small side area. There's way too much competition in North Huntington to consider this a valid choice for the little it offers. Nothing here causes it to rise beyond average.

I got the Mander burger-- two stacked patties, Brie cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and raspberry mayo. It was DELICIOUS. The Brie was tasty and soft and they put on a generous amount. I took a gamble ordering something with unique flavors and it definitely paid off. The Brie paired well with the raspberry mayo. The server was efficient, attentive and pleasant. It's a cozy atmosphere. With the refillable fresh cut fries, you're getting plenty of food and more bang for your buck! The bartenders were all fantastic too. We shared the grilled pretzel with pub cheese & sweet mustard which was decent but a tad dried out from the grilling. The flavors were good. The Faroe Island grilled salmon over grilled cauliflower and Yukon Gold potatoes was really delicious. We would definitely order that again. The music was a country artist and not so overly loud that we couldn't talk so that was a plus. It's a packed restaurant though so it gets pretty loud. We enjoyed our experience and will definitely return. They have a nice menu and beer selection.
