Great 1st time experience at this newly opened location. Definitely swayed my opinion from my visit at another Jersey Mike's a few years back. Glad I decided to re-visit my opinion of their subs. This location used to house Subway. Nice switch since Subways are only miles apart in this area. Business was brisk when we stopped, but the line moved fast. I liked the way the menu is displayed and easy - to- follow set-up. Having the line of people in front of me helped to buy time, since I changed my mind multiple times before reaching the counter. Sub tasted great, tomatoes looked and tasted like tomatoes. I like the 3 different bread size options. One could go full scale, mid, or mix two different mini subs if you want a variety of flavors. Packaged desserts look better than most other options at typical sub places .

I went with my Uncle Robbie after my dad died. I have not gone there since then. I would like to go back again. I like the sandwiches there.

And while it is on the expensive side, it is absolutely worth it. Their products are high quality and there is a wide variety of unique items. My favorite part of the store is the Olive & Antipasti Bar. So many delicious options! Things like a wide variety of olives (some stuffed some not), garlic, spicy garlic, greek salads, pasta salads. Be careful how much you put in your container because it adds up fast (but it is worth it). The deli has a wide variety of meat, cheese and prepared food options. A variety of salads (chicken salad, ham salad, pasta salads etc) plus things like ready to heat chicken. Service there was fast and efficient. They are in the middle of a remodel, so the space is slightly smaller than usual, but they still pack everything in. I highly recommend a visit here!

This place is a keeper in my book. We stopped by here after visiting Phipps garden in Pittsburgh. 1st time visiting West side of PA. Most of the Italian stores at Little Italy are closed as early as 4pm, but this place is open til 6pm. Yay. I enjoyed everything I sampled and purchased. I haven't tried the ready food I bought yet. I have to say, their cheese collection and cold cut hav refined taste, superior flavor. Not the typical cheese flavors I've ever tried.

Olives and Peppers is a wonderful experience. The historic train station transitioned into a unique…read morerestaurant is a really cool thing to see. The food is delicious, the drinks are great, and again, I can't stress enough how cool it is to sit inside the building. Service could be improved just a tad to be more attentive and to pay attention to orders.

Last night (warm autumn Saturday) we returned to this restaurant after 2 years. We did not have a…read morereservation. We arrived around 4pm and it was packed. Be very careful parking on the cliff side without any guide-rail. The waitstaff seemed rushed and I felt it at the table. Immediately upon sitting "Drinks?" when the drinks came "Any Apps" immediately followed by "Ready to order?" etc. They made a big deal about putting us up in the rafters and claimed all of the other tables were taken but I never saw the place without an empty table the whole time we were there. I do not believe the pasta is made there anymore. Maybe some of it is but what we ordered seemed good but not made in house. My wife got casarecce which they spelled casarecci and while it was very nice, I don't believe they made this pasta themselves. I don't think they made the sausage themselves, either. The big thing was that I was disappointed in my dish. The menu described "Spinach Tagliatelle 29 House Spinach Pasta & Shrimp, Sauteed with Mushrooms, Asparagus, and Fire-Roasted Tomatoes in a Lemon Basil Cream" For whatever reason I thought this involved fresh spinach, it does not. It was actually served with "spinach green fettuccini" and I don't feel it was made in house but even if it was, it was not tagliatelle, which is a thin wide noodle. They used pickled red peppers? tomatoes? I have no idea -- it seemed to be peppers literally tasting of vinegar like a pickled pepper, which added to the oddness. I think they forgot to use cheese or something because it tasted like garlic, fishy shrimp and pasta water with a basil sweetness. It was just gross. For $29, this was a big disappointment. I didn't get a chance to complain because we had it boxed up and only when I got home did I discover the issue, though I did end up wearing it on the way home as it leaked all over me while I was walking out of the place. If I were the head chef, I would revisit this dish because it's really not good at all. I ordered a side meatball and it came "barebones" with no marinara which we also thought was wildly inappropriate. My wife ordered what ended up being the second most expensive appetizer, $19 paid for "bread and oil with cheese and roasted garlic and roasted banana peppers" ... I have no idea why this needed to be so expensive. I ordered a flight and the beers were good. My wife liked the sangria. It was a lot of food. Service was OK. Ambiance was OK. It was fun to watch the train through the windows when seated on the balcony dining area. Lots of steps but fine for us.

Everything I've ever had here was delicious. I love that they have a huge selection of some unique pierogi flavors and all of them are able to be cooked for dine in at the restaurant (a lot of other pierogi places only have two or three flavors you can actually order for dine in). If you order them traditionally cooked they ask you with or without onions and if you order them deep fried, they come with a side of sour cream. They also have a huge variety of delicious home made soup. My favorite is the stuffed pepper soup, but they are all extremely delicious. I love the Polish Platter because it gives me a taste of Polish comfort food. (although I do with there was an option for a sausage add on). Service was friendly and the place is very well kept. If I lived here, I'd have a hard time cooking when I could just go grab Bubba's. We had the: - Pepperoni Pizza - the pizza is a Detroit style, but it definitely is reminiscent of a pan pizza too! The focaccia style dough is freshmade and the airy sponge texture is the perfect vessel for a pizza. Layered with perfect seasoning, cheese, and pepperoni... the sauce goes on top! The sauce is very unique too. With the texture of tomato paste, but an almost sweetness, it adds a pop of flavor that balances with the pizza very well. The pizzas were right on time for pickup and the staff was very welcoming. The restaurant is very simple and gives the feeling of home. Pro Tip: Order the double! Eight slices are much smaller as a square cut!
