Revisited this center of town cafe after not having been there for awhile and love the new look inside, which seems more orderly and easier to place an order at the counter. I just came for a smoothie, but all the sandwiches, cold and hot deli counter selections and especially the baked goods looked great! They also have local farmer market veggies for sale here, including corn on the cob I haven't seen around much this summer. On the other side of the cafe where you can sit are an interesting selection of wines, soft drinks, tea and chocolate. I'm looking forward to returning! I wish their open hours coincided with events at the Palace Theatre that is right next door, because it would be great to grab a bite to eat here and then go to a show. This cafe usually seems closed at those times.

We all stopped on our lunch break, As Seton Hill employees, we love to support and shop small business. We went in, was informed that they open at 11, and typically run out of food around 1, so we rushed down. It wasn't busy when we got there around 11:45, but it was packed when we were leaving. Was quite disappointed they have the Griffin Advantage offer, but do not offer it to employees, which isn't how the program works, I have never had another business in Greensburg deny an employee, but I guess the owner can decide that themselves. Any-who....food was pretty good, it was a beautiful day, so we got to sit outside (in the Palace Theater courtyard, it was great! Will probably be back!

I was working near this place, and we ordered lunch from it. They had great sandwiches.

This place is a gem! Perfect artisan quality sandwiches and sides. Anytime I get back to GBG I'm stopping for a bite!

The food is excellent and the staff friendly, but you don't get much food for your money. The coffee and espresso is mediocre at best.

Went in on 2/6/25 at about 3:00 pm. Young woman overseeing self checkout was very rude. She acted…read morelike I should know the specifics about running my food benefits card. Proceeded to hand her my card to process payment. She very gruffly said that I need to run the card myself (previous times that this occurred, the cashier was more than happy to help). Girl gave me my receipt with no thank you or any sort of acknowledgment. Went by the customer service counter to let them know that the girl overseeing the checkout had a horrible attitude. Lady at the cs counter acted like that this sort of customer service was something to be proud of. I highly doubt anything will happen because of my venting. I get it--not every single trip can be perfect. But when an employee acts like their job is beneath them, I'm gonna say something.

I'm thinking of this location as the backup location for the Giant Eagle up the street. It can't…read morebe more than a ten minute ride between the two. Maybe it's a Pennsylvania thing or a southwestern Pennsylvania thing. Like in Pittsburgh, people won't cross the river to get something if it is near them on their side of the river. However, in Greensburg replace the river with just the town. Honestly there really isn't much difference between the two locations in Greensburg. The plazas are different and that's just about it. This one has the GetGo in the parking lot, maybe that's the draw to this one? Setup inside is the same, almost exact. Maybe they are going to do like they did in Johnstown and revamp one of them, add an Ace Hardware inside. Anyway, I keep getting distracted here, because there isn't much difference between the two. I did notice a lot of people going in here and buying their beer and wine. A lot were just coming out with alcohol and nothing more. No judging, I get it, but you could have saved the hassle and got that at a nearby gas station as well. I actually find this one to be more of a hassle to get to. The intersection to enter the plaza is super busy all the time, plus they share the lot with other big box stores that just makes it a nightmare at times. But we all need groceries, so you kind of need the store.
