I was all excited about Hardee's as I remembered having it in the past, but the maybe 3 times I went it was underwhelming. Burger was mediocre. I remember the bun was kind of hard; I guess it is Hardee's. But Hardee's needs to go soft with their buns. I also got breakfast before, it was decent but nothing to write home about. Frankly, I prefer Dunkin' for a breakfast sandwich. I remembered I tried to redeem a free coffee one time, and they couldn't make an iced coffee, but the hot coffee was ok. Customer service wasn't terribly friendly. I think the last I went to this (or any) location was maybe in 2022.

My parents & I enjoyed the chicken at the time when they visited the week of Thanksgiving. Their chicken was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. It's no Don Pollo, Sardi's, or others, but it does the good and was convenient at times. The last time I went to Lima's was in October 2024. It was Friday, 10/11/24. I had a Poker night at an acquaintance's place in Arundel Mills area, and this was on the way. I wanted to eat beforehand as I wasn't sure what the food situation was going to be. Ultimately, Lima's kind of pissed me off. I was asking about trying samples of a couple of the sides (as I didn't remember; it had been maybe 2 years since I went), and there was a language barrier, where I had to repeat, which was frustrating. I ate in the restaurant. Cashier was unfriendly, and I realized they charged me 10 cents for the Anne Arundel County's stupid bag tax, or maybe it was Lima's just wanting to charge the fee. It was complete laziness on their part to not ask me whether I was eating in the restaurant or taking it to go. I know it's only 10 cents, but it's the principle of it. I won't return here.

The driver arrived about 30 minutes after the food was supposedly ready, then had to wait another 15 minutes because the order still wasn't finished. She mentioned they were busy, which I understood. I asked through the driver for extra soy sauce to be added to the bag, and the restaurant immediately called me. Somehow there was a miscommunication, and they thought I was asking for free potsticker entree. I was not. I simply wanted extra soy sauce. They said they don't offer potsticker sauce, so I asked to substitute it for spicy mayo instead. Just a kind accommodation. What disappointed me most was the customer service and the treatment of the doordash driver---everything far as principle... I've ordered from other locations before, and they were far more polite and accommodating than this Hanover location. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOCATION AS LONG AS The general manager, Alex, is still employed here. He comes across as sarcastic, passive-aggressive, and dismissive during our conversation. Even when the driver offered to pay for the extra sauce, he still refused. All this over 99 cents!?! At that point, it wasn't even about the $0.99 sauce anymore -- it was the attitude. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, especially when a customer has already spent over $40 on an order. The food quality was also below average this time. Chicken was overly spicy, and the coleslaw was dry and seemed to have little to no mayo. I called about the quality, the Manger did not care and refused to give the district number. I've been recovering from recent health issues and honestly did not have the energy for this level of unnecessary stress over something so small. Policies are fine, but there's no reason to treat people poorly while enforcing them. I've escalated the issue to corporate. THIS SHOULD NOT BE NORMALIZE and a known REP of this location. its a huge inconvenience. It costs nothing to be kind. I will not order from here till professional changes been made. Glad to see that after a venue move and years of operation, the food is still amazing! My go-to is the beef bulgogi, which I ordered most recently. The beef was very tender and flavored generously. The first bite took me right back to my teenage years, when I used to patronize the business literally once a week when I was taking a break from my job at Progressive Motions Hair Studio. The service is still A1, the owners are very nice and personable. The inside is laid out the same as every other carry-out in Maryland.
