The fruit tart had a smooth, dense cream custard with a variety of fresh fruit on top. Portuguese egg custard tart had a sweet vanilla custard with caramelized top layer in a flaky puff pastry crust.

They have comfortable booths, a few tables, bar seating, and music playing in the background that gives the place a nice vibe. The menu is displayed on the wall along with their daily specials. One thing I noticed is that my old favorites weren't listed anymore, so I had to ask for them specifically. They also sell some of their food cold so you can take it home and heat it up later, which is a nice option if you're craving their food. The cashier was friendly, but I think she was new because she wasn't familiar with the tri-tip breakfast burrito or the Southwest tri-tip wrap. Another employee stepped in to help, and everything was taken care of without any issues. The two meals came to around $37-$39, with each item costing roughly $17-$19. It's definitely on the expensive side, so I was hoping everything would be just as amazing as I remembered. The tri-tip breakfast burrito absolutely delivered. It was a generous size, wrapped in a nicely grilled tortilla, and packed with plenty of eggs, cheese, and flavorful tri-tip. As I was eating it, I realized I forgot to ask them to add peppers like I used to, and I also wish I had ordered salsa on the side. Even without those additions, it was still every bit as good as I remembered. I would absolutely order the tri-tip breakfast burrito again. Unfortunately, the Southwest tri-tip wrap didn't have the same magic. The Southwest sauce looked a little discolored, the meat didn't really look like tri-tip, and the overall flavor just wasn't what I remembered from years ago. For the price, I expected a much better sandwich. Since I've had so many great experiences here over the years, I'm willing to give the wrap another chance because it's possible I just caught them on an off day. Overall, it was great coming back to a place that holds so many memories. The tri-tip breakfast burrito reminded me exactly why I used to come here several times a week, while the Southwest tri-tip wrap left me a little disappointed. Even so, I'll definitely be back for another breakfast burrito, and I'll give the wrap one more try before making up my mind.

There were no tomatoes no reason given but I was notified prior to the sandwich being made but no substitute was offered. I should have known then and proceeded to exit. I wanted to love this place but unfortunately I'll pass.

I liked the earthy spices that came from each bite of chicken. Speaking of chicken, let's talk a little bit more about the portions. If there was a common them between both of are meals, it would probably be the fact that both were very meat heavy. So if you like your sandwiches to be more meat heavy, you are definitely in the right place. Lastly the sandwich and wrap were huge. I definitely gotta give Big H kudos for the fact that they pack their meals to the brim. Everyone always complains that everything in California is just too expensive. Big H however is the first place in awhile that feels affordable. Although one time, the food was so late that I was almost late for work. That was the only time I told them I needed to leave and someone else would come pick it up for me, but the lady reassured me and they were able to wrap it up faster for me to take. I never really had an issue until yesterday. I called around 12:30pm and ordered a small tray of food and requested a 2pm pickup (just to give them extra time incase they were busy so I wouldn't be late for work). At 2:08 pm the lady working at the cashier called me and said my order was ready, so I told her I'd be there in 10 minutes. She replied, "It's ready, you told me 2pm, ok I'll see you". I ignored this statement. I got to the restaurant at about 2:18pm. She did say hi but she also said, "You told me 2pm, you're late". - which is very rude and inappropriate. I told her, "I always order food from here in advance and I still wait 10-15 minutes, that's why I said 2pm so it would be ready earlier, because I don't want to be late for work". She then said, "You always order the trays right? It depends how busy we are". She could tell I was annoyed and shifted her tone to a "Are you having a party? Have fun!" tone. At this point I just wanted to pay and leave - which I did. Why is it ok if I consistently wait patiently for my food even though I call well in advance, but she cannot wait the same amount of time for me to pick it up? There has to be mutual consideration. Dear owner, the food has usually been good and we have been coming to this location for years. But please address the customer service and tone of the lady working at the front desk. The condiments were all full, the drink area was all wiped down lemonade full. In today's society great customer service is becoming rare. So I can always appreciate giving credit when credit is due. These workers were busting their asses. All my food was hot and definitely worth the wait. Thank you.

The next thing I noticed was the attention to detail for safety. All the outside staff were wearing reflective safety harnesses and were truly watching out for traffic. The inside team cleaned things you wouldn't expect them to with germicidal wipes. What I mean is this. When I see employees cleaning trays in a McDonalds, I see them using a simply cloth with water. Tonight, I saw the staff member (working the register) cleaning table tents with germicidal wipes whenever she didn't have customers. Lastly, the funny thing is that they are both fast and slow. I received my order fairly quickly for the number of cars in the drive through - rivaled only by In-N-Out - and in the lobby waiting. But damn if it didn't take a long time. So what I'm really saying is that it's a great location, but don't expect quick.
