I was excited when I heard that is what she had decided on. Been a while since I have had a cheese steak sandwich. The woman at the cash register asked if we wanted sweet and/or hot peppers, we went with both! OMG, it could not have been better! Delicious, messy, spicy and BIG! I was so happy she picked that one, it was so darn good. I would order that sandwich again in a heart beat. I had to stop back by the order counter to let them know how super good it was. Each sandwich is made from scratch each order, so the wait was no problem. My hot Italian was decent - would have loved if the bread was toasted, but was tasty, nonetheless. My husband was happy with his sandwich and chips as well. It is kind of pricey - but for the quality of food and today's prices, it's not terrible. Just something to be aware of! One criticism, I don't know if they were understaffed or what, but the entire space was filthy. Crumbs, lettuce, napkins and used cups were all over the tables, floors and counter. Looks great but don't be fooled by nice packaging. Sandwiches are spotty, premade pasta dishes are no different than making it yourself. The butcher area is solid, but we only look for the specials where you know you're actually getting a fair price. I took my 14 yo for an early dinner on a Thursday afternoon and after finding a somewhat close parking spot, found the patio of Courtyard Social already fairly packed. We were seated at a table towards the back and we ordered a Coke and a beer. The server asked us if we were interested in the Happy Hour menu (available M-F, till 5:30) and we jumped all over that. $6 sliders, $15 for a pound of smoked hot wings, and $2 off m draft beer. Great deal!!! The wings were fantastic and I will definitely be back for them! The hot sauce was just right, and although a few of the drums were a little dry - overall the wings hit the spot. The sliders were good (not as tasty as the wings), and I might have to try their fried chicken sliders (Nashville hot) next time. Service was good and everyone was welcoming and friendly. I'm not sure why I didn't try this spot sooner, so don't make my mistake and get yourself down to Courtyard Social!
