I don't know the last time I have been to an Arby's. If I had to guess I would say over 15 years ago. That being said, one day one of my coworkers had Arby's for lunch and lo and behold she ordered curly fries. I had no idea Arby's had curly fries. For this reason, I had to go check it out. I went through the drive thru and it moved pretty quickly. The person at the window was polite. I ended up ordering a chicken sandwich with my fries...just for the heck of it. To be honest, the chicken sandwich left something to be desired, but the curly fries were everything I was hoping they would be. They were hot and crunchy. 80 degrees in sunny Cali, I'm wearing full leathers because I'm riding my motorcycle. Arby's is only doing drive through so the drive through is packed. I talked to one of the employees at the front door seeing if There could be an exception because waiting for 20 minutes on a motorcycle in full leathers in 80 degrees is unbearable. I was very excited to try this place as I live nearby and had never been. I visited them right after their new remodel. I ordered three little sliders as this was my first time; one turkey, one chicken and one roast beef. I got home and was excited. To my dismay, I found spots of mold on my bread. It was very small and could have been easily missed but I noticed it and I am very disappointed. I'm writing this so maybe the company can have better protocols in place to inspect the food that's given to the public. So I just stopped at arby's and spent over $30 on food. I didn't even get any combo meals. All I ordered was chicken strips, a large fry and a chicken sandwich. When I asked for ranch and honey mustard they had already given me barbecue sauce for the chicken tenders I purchased and they told me that I needed to pay 27 cents for the ranch. This is utterly ridiculous and frankly a slap in the face to arby's customers everywhere. I spend over $30 at their eatery and they can't give me a thing of sauce that cost them 5 cents. Employee's are rude in the drive thru. Was told that you have to pay for the Arby's sauce packets. I paid for the sauce packets and the receipt lists another item BBQ Dip instead of Arby's sauce. Arby's is one of those fast food places that I don't really consider fast food. I only get one thing, the french dip and swiss melt. It really is super good. Sometimes I consider getting a few of the regular roast beef sandwiches instead, but I never go for it. What can I say, I'm a creature of habit. Now comes the bad news. The combos normally come with seasoned curly fries. But their other sides are so much better and I like to substitute the loaded potato bites for the fries. When I went the last time I found out they got rid of the most amazing fried potatoes with with bacon and cheese inside for just plain hash brown triangles like the ones you got in 3rd grade. Would love to give 5 stars, but not quite deserving. The restaurant is much nicer inside since they recently refurbished and got rid of the teal colors circa 1990's look. The food is overall good although my son claims his mac 'n cheese was partially frozen in the center when we ate here last night. Is it frozen then heated to order? Don't know. Arby's is going down the tubes, fast! After my last experience at another slack-ass Arby's, I had hoped that the poor service and low-quality food presentation was an isolated incident. Unfortunately not. It's clear that the employees hate working there, and they don't care about you or your food. On this trip, I ordered the Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich combo, and apparently made the mistake of asking them to leave off the mayo. After sitting at my table and watching several other customers order after me, and get served, I went to the counter to ask about my sandwich. The girl behind the counter saw me coming, began barking at the cook, and refused to even make eye contact with me. I guess that means she's got it handled. A few minutes later a different employee slogged her way to my table and dropped my sandwich tray down like a convict in a prison cafeteria. Been over a decade since I ate at Arby's due to quality. Tried to get a brisket smokehouse sandwich meal hoping things changed. I dont know if its this location or all, but food quality is straight trash or the people serving it are putting out bad food on purpose. Half the brisket slice was burnt n hard, the other half was all fat. (1 slice on the whole sandwich wtf) who serves a slice of brisket thats all fat??? GrossAF! Almost NO cheese. And the onion ring on the burger was old n burnt. EVERY piece of curly fry was a broken end piece. A regular drink is now only 8-12oz?? So I pay $15 for a combo meal that is smaller than a happy meal. To be honest, I'll never try Arby's again and will advocate against going there to my friends as well.
