We ordered drinks, an appetizer and a couple pizzas. Drinks and appetizer came out quickly along with the side house salad I ordered which consisted of lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and mozzarella. I had the house vinaigrette dressing which was a nice dressing for the basic salad. Toasted ravioli as the appetizer were crispy delicious with a savory marinara sauce!! Pizzas came out oven hot and loaded with mozzarella on top. Crust was crisped to perfection and the toppings were plentiful. All in all a very pleasurable eating experience and the staff was on top of everything. Thanks Roma's, we will be back!!

Family-owned, Roma's was a delightful experience. After being seated, we were greeted by a friendly server and ordered our beverages. Browsing the menu, I ordered a Bosco Stick and a medium pizza. The Bosco Stick was warm and filled with gooey cheese. It reminded me so much of the Bosco Sticks I would eat as a child. The meat sauce was a great addition to use as a dip and wasn't too meaty. I ordered a medium pizza with extra cheese, jalapeños, and mushrooms. It was so good! The pizza came out about 25 minutes after ordering and satiated my pizza craving! Roma's is nothing fancy, however, it is a comfortable environment with delicious and affordable food. Next time I am in town, I will have to come back!

It was one of those mornings and I had a craving for, Chicken Fried Steak. So I headed out of the house, to enjoy a nice breakfast at a diner. I hadn't been to B Town in a while, so even with the current gas prices, I made the drive to Bethalto. Their Chicken Fried Steak came with eggs, so I had mine scrambled. It also came with a choice of Hash Browns or American Fried Potatoes. I asked the waitress what her favorite was and she said, American. The American Fried are done totally in house. That sold me. It also came with toast, but I took a pass. They provided a steak knife with my breakfast, but it wasn't needed. The meat was tender and it was easy to break off a bite using just a fork. My eggs were fluffy and the potatoes were a good choice. So, always listen to your server. One thing I really like about B Town, is they do not overly season their food. I like the fact that I actually need to add more salt or pepper to my entree. I hate it when some places overly salt food. Good Food, Good Prices and Good Service will have me coming back for another breakfast. I might even come and check-out their lunch menu.

Would have given it a 5 star but the service was really bad. The waiter barely waited on us and he decided the chips I ordered should be fries instead. ($1.50 up charge and I don't even eat fries) He never came back to see if our food was ok (we were sitting at the counter and ignored) so I was never able to get it corrected so we had to pay the up charge. Plus people at other tables were yelling at him from a booth over the counter "can we get some boxes and our bill" and another booth did the same, so evidently everyone got the same crappy service.

I didn't end them, but I bonus was, a hook and outlet was under the bar right in front of my stool. I didn't want the Friday special, even though some Fried Fish was tempting. All I wanted was some of their incredible hand cut and breaded onion rings. I paired them with a 6 piece bone in chicken wings in mild sauce. When served, I was pleased to see my order had equal flats and drums. The wings and rings were very filling. I ended up taking two rings and one flat and one drum home. They re-heated very well for the next days lunch. The service was a little off, but I will admit they were slammed. The bartender was slow on greeting and doing follow-up. It may have helped if they had an extra person behind the bar. Even a bar-back would have helped. They may have lost a star this visit, but I am sure they'll get it back soon.

My Order: Mango Passionfruit Iced Tea & The Italian Sandwich Food/Drinks: The coffee menu is extensive, and they have a decent tea menu (my tea was Stash). There's a small bakery/pastry case, plus a few sandwiches and salads on the menu. After eating there, I checked out their social media; it looks like they have occasional specials that they post. I enjoyed my tea, and the Italian Sandwich was delicious. My sandwich came with a little cup of oil with herbs, which was so good! Atmosphere: The inside is simple, yet inviting.
