Love the sandwiches but GOOD LORD this place is slow. Sitting in the lobby waiting for my online order to be finished 15 minutes after my projected pickup time. There are 3 other customers in the lobby waiting for their sandwiches as well and no one else. Staff is listening to music and singing and talking and no one is even trying to begin making a sandwich. What the heck is going on?!?!

Stopped in here for lunch on a Tuesday. The service was outstanding with sandwiches made in a decent amount of time. The salad was rated 3 stars for me but the sandwich made up for it here. The floors are spotless with a 5 star cleanliness rating!

They have a delicious looking menu with lots of good looking sandwiches and some yummy desserts. I opted for a winter special of the granny grilled cheese and it comes to the side of soup and I got a mini cheesecake on the side. The girls working upfront are so sweet and took my order quickly and answered all of my questions. They also did a great job of bagging up my order to go with utensils and napkins in the bag which I really appreciate. They also even tape closed the box so nothing spills. When I got home and sat down to eat, the food all looked delicious and made it home safe because of the careful packaging. The granny grilled cheese was the perfect mix of sweet and savory that I adore. It was a little messy to eat, but I was eating by myself at home so I didn't care. The tomato soup was the perfect addition to a snowy day. it was warm and flavorful. The cheesecake was also delicious. I got the mini one so I could convince myself I was being healthy but wish I would have gotten a full sized slice because of how delicious it was. I got my order to go for a couple different reasons but one is that they don't have the largest inside seating area and it tends to get pretty full. It's nice to come on a summer day because they have a pretty large outdoor seating area that you wouldn't be able to use in the winter is parking but there's a lot of spaces in the area.

My husband got the turkey Rueben which was so filling and that slaw was amazing. Cheese bread is super cheese y and I love the red sauce that came with it. You can't beat a good ceaser salad as well. They have a wonderful patio, indoor seating and seating above their store next door. Our service was great and we got a lot of food and it didn't take long on a busier Saturday.

The customer service is what you'd expect from a small town market, personalized and friendly. They offer monthly meat bundles that are budget friendly. Some of their brands are generic, but with today's economy that is a good thing. There are lots of single little coolers around the store, filled with perishable products. Take note of the prepared foods near the butcher counter. You'll find some delicious side dishes for those tasty brats. Another end-cap to check out, is their branded spices. They're just as good as those expensive name brand spices. If you haven't shopped the aisles of Schwegel's, I recommend you correct that ASAP. You just might become a frequent shopper.

As he started listing what he had in mind, my skepticism quickly turned into straight-up anticipation. We didn't know the area well and the last few lunches we had at this location were average. One girl that used to work in the area, came up and said "oh, we have to go to Paul's market! ". I was skeptical because it sounded like we were having lunch at a grocery store. Turned out, it was a butcher shop and deli with a great menu. We were a fairly big group and they worked their way through our orders efficiently as well as the other customers. They gave the kind of service I like when I eat out. I asked them what the best item on the menu was they asked me a couple questions, gave me a recommendation. (the Italian stallion.) and asked me some follow up questions about condiments, they answered a few more questions and they delivered! When I was looking at sides to have with it, he told me the sandwich was " hefty". He was he was right. A lot of times when I'm out for a quick bite I might swing by a Jimmy John's or a subway just to get a quick sandwich, but this was an example of why it's always best to go local. While we were in the ordering process, the guy who looked like the butcher and was also the owner came over to check and make sure we were getting our needs met. He was very busy, but he even made it outside once we all were served to check on things and thank us for coming by. I had a chance to look around and noticed the full valley of barbecue fried chicken and all their sides. I went over and looked at the meat counter in the steaks and other items looked fantastic. Not what you find at the grocery store. As someone who worked in the food service industry in high school and college, my standards for good service are relatively high. This experience reminded me of my days at a locally owned family run business with great food and great service and a responsive staff.
