This Sonic is off the beaten path. It is tucked away in an area that resembles an industrial park for fast food restaurants. It sets so far off the main road, you could miss it if you did not know where to find it. Work was over, I was headed home and the chocolate cravings begun to sneak up on me. I wanted a cool refreshing chocolate malt for the drive home. So veered off the main drag and into fast food lane, to satisfy my craving. Pulling up to the Drive-Thru menu I was meet with instant disappointment. Sonic does not sell malts. I couldn't wait to get back into St Louis to stop at my neighborhood Steak-n-Shake, so I lowered my expectations and ordered a shake. It was chocolate, it was thick and creamy. It just lacked that malt flavoring I wanted oh so bad. The drive-thru service was nice and pleasant. No scratchy speaker voice, it was crisp and clear. I love sonic, but this experience has changed my view. We waited 30 minutes for our food, to get cold clumpy fry's with random tater tots (cross contamination), both burgers wrong, watered down drink (didn't get a straw either), and melted shakes (whip cream is basically non existent being melted). The service has gone down hill recently. Something needs to be changed or happen. read more

Ever wonder why you don't see many sonics still open in this area? It's because their service is Horrible! If you place an order on the app and check in when you arrive they don't bring your order out. Press the red button on the order box and they ignore it. I paid through the app and had to leave because I waited 15 min (yes pre ordered on the app), I had someplace to be so had to drive off because no one would even acknowledge me. What did I order that was soooo difficult that it still wasn't prepared 15 min after I arrived and checked in. 2 soft drinks! Yes 2 sodas could not be prepared and delivered to a customers car in 15 min. This happens all the time, usually I just have to press the button and then they decide to bring the order out but not this time. Sonic is not a frequent stop for me, but I was in the area and went through the drive through for an afternoon snack. I saw the ad for the Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float. Medium was $3.99. I ordered that and a large cherry limeade. The servers were very friendly and attentive. Total price was just over $6. The Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float looked awesome and the taste was even batter than that. Full of ice cream and orange flavor! The little beads of orange flavor brought this treat home! On a scale of 1-5, the Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float was a 12! The cherry limeade was good as always, but I may have to go back for another Orange Cloudsicle Slush Float soon! read more

Came here for lunch with my grandson. Food was the usual, I got the #1 which is the single cheeseburger. Only reason for my 4 star review I ordered fries and got tots instead, still good. Grandson had a grilled cheese and apparently he liked it because he ate every bit. He enjoyed the strawberry slushie, I had a lemonade and it was good, slightly tart but refreshing. read more

Rudest customer service. The app allowed us to place an order in the morning. We did not see a closed sign. The restaurant appeared to be open. Our name popped up on the screen when we punched in which stall we were in. After about 5 min, the name disappeared. We waited patiently and finally we pushed the button to make sure that nothing had happened with the order and the app. A man walked out with our drinks (obviously irritated). He gave us our drinks and said he didn't know how the app let us place the order since they didn't open until 9. We said "Ow no! We're sorry but thanks so much for getting our drinks!" He said nothing, no smile and walked away without responding to our thankful comments. He very obviously wanted us to know that he was ticked off... we left our drinks. read more

Have gone to this location several times in the past few months...if i were the driver i would skip this location completely. My girlfriend likes to learn things the hard way...first time we went...everything fried had a horrible burned grease taste and it took 20 minutes in the drive thru to get it...second time..we pulled up to the kiosk to get our order to drink in the car...we ordered 2 cream slushes. The girl who answered the kiosk spoke in ebonics so thickly that we had to have her repeat herself several times...prompt on screen went from order in to please order after 15 minutes...we pushed the button and ordered again... The same ghetto girl answers and says we must not have talked to her and we could reorder...25 minutes in we start to drive off...some girl comes out and yells hey are yall leaving..we said hell yes after 25 minutes waiting for 2 slushes we are leaving...yesterday my girlfriend tried again..this time one slush...waited in drive thru 15 minutes before we were told they accidentally. gave it to someone else...then waited another 5 minutes for them to bring it out while cars behind us were getting food and pulling out around us...this location needs to fire the manager and the careless teens that dont do their job and hire some people with pride and customer service skills. read more

Service was terrible along with attitude. When we pulled in we pressed the red button and sat there at least 5 minutes before they told us "they needed a moment" then after ordering they brought us the wrong order and gave some attitude when we said it wasn't ours she sighed loudly and POUTED then walked away. Sonic in itself as a whole franchise is very good, but this one lost its touch. When this sonic first opened it was almost perfect. The people actually seemed to try and act excited for their job. Now they don't even listen to your orders right and when ever you get the food or drink you can tell they just threw it together read more

I really like sonic. I love the fact that if I want a cheeseburger and onion rings at breakfast I can get it. If I want the bacon egg cheese toaster at supper I can get it. Just don't get the coffee. I was the only one in the entire lot. I had to repeat my order 4 times because the lady wasn't paying attention to me and kept saying random things on the menu. When she finally said the right order back to me, I agreed. Then she brought me a similar, yet wrong order, and when I was going to tell her that she forgot a soda and a milkshake, I realized that she hadn't charged me for a soda and milkshake, so I could not prove that it was what I ordered. I typically am a very easy going customer. I understand mistakes happen & orders get mixed up. That being said every single time I come here nothing goes right. It takes at least three times of me telling the person taking the order for them to get it right. That's when the fun begins. You pull around and wait in line while the poor kids on skates struggle to stay vertical taking each order car to car until finding the correct one. There seems to be no organization to the place & these servers look like complete idiots. More than once I've witnessed skaters ramming into the side of cars, it's happened to me. If you order a large here be prepared to get a small. If you don't want any toppings on your ice cream, expect double. I think the basic problem is lack of training. The staff is always friendly. The food (when correct) is tasty & I think these two things are what keeps me coming back and giving them another shot. Basically, if you're in a hurry or are a high-strung customer don't come here.
